it was very well shot.. i wasn't aware it had pretty much no dialog
Since azrael is the name for the angel of death, it makes sense she would be the guardian of this "child", which does seem to usher in some kind of end of days scenario. Even the window gave her some kind of halo. She is the conduit between the rapture creatures and the baby.
What I didn't expect was the normal guy w the truck. It seemed to suggest (in a " the village" kind of sense) that these people are kind of cultists living amongst "regular society" HE even showed not only disdain for the cults ritual scarring and mutilation, but , sn aversion to it. Which also means this is NOT the norm so the rapture hadn't happened.
Don't know how that guy even fits into the story. I also hadn't completely figured out the pregnant (high priestess) role yet

Just saw it today. Left me with frustrations. I was totally into it trying to figure it out. Wow! The main character is so darn tough. She should have been a walking bruise. Beaten up over and over in fights. This woman can physically survive anything.

If that is what made you lose interest that says a lot more about you then anyone else. The movie isnt woke and you’re acting As if interracial couples don’t exist in real life let alone a apocalypse situation where it very likely would be even more common
