I love how they feel the need to tell us hitting a cast metal case with a hammer is dangerous but ignore all the grinding and chiseling they are doing without eye or hand protection and act like standing in the middle of a busy street swinging a 15 lb sledge hammer over their shoulder into the traffic is perfectly fine and safe for all involved. I think we should take all the nut-jobs here in the US who claim America is such a horrible place and send them to help these guys in Pakistan for a year or two so they could learn how good they actually have it here in the USA.

А если думаете что безопасность труда превыше всего что приносит радость то вы на стороне тех людей кто обменивают свою свободу на безопасность и поэтому незаслуживают ни того ни другого . What kind of economic sanctions against poor countries? And what does that have to do with child labor? If the Pakistani state were to ensure compliance with its own laws, including those relating to occupational safety, that would be a great help! But it spares the rich, as do the rulers all over the world! But at least it ensures compliance with occupational safety!! Apart from that, Pakistan also receives development aid, as do India and China!
But countries that have nuclear weapons should not receive any development aid at all, there seems to be enough money available!!

Disguised unemployment.
That guy with the 8 inch unguarded angle grinder with no hearing protection or face mask . If that disk ruptures , which they do , pieces would come off at upto 200 kilometres per hour. Many people have been killed or badly injured because of this . One of about 50 unsafe practises I saw , and don't tell me they can't afford safety, nonsense!!!! , basic safety gear is very low cost and if looked after can last 6 months to a year.

What we're seeing here, is a blend of necessary and creative resourcefulness mixed with shocking work practices and total disregard for health and safety. And all done in a filthy dangerous environment and using knackered unmaintained tools.
Every time I watch these videos, I'm amazed at the resourcefulness and hard work these people do.
Yet, at the same time, I'm appalled at their work conditions. There is nothing in place to protect the workers - including the youngsters.
And not of grain of scrap iron left, all collected.
So ..who will lose if we have WW3. They are not afraid of nuclear bombs, global warming or comets hitting the earth. Different perception due to different perspectives.
