Hi Folks,
This is Dan, let me show you step by step on how I build stuff each week including my CB750 Cafe Racer & the (Honda Scrambler/Tracker build on a budget challenge) SUBSCRIBE to follow my future builds, I'm based in Australia.

When a sink is made it is usually pressed or stamped to form. This would harden that steel. If you heat it, to a yellow or white colour, then let it cool, it will soften and be easier to work. This is annealing.
Thanx mate
All three of them look great can't pick one
I don't know why, but I like the last one best...
Greetings from Croatia!
Yeah, same with me
Nice one Dan, I like the meshed one 👌🏼
noice one Gazza, workshop is looking pretty full now boi !
Thanx mate, I’ve heard you’ve got plenty of room over there I might start bringing some things over haha 😂
Excellent video Dan, I think the one with the mesh insert looks super trick. Take care and ride safe mate. Cheers
Thanks mate I think that 1 might be my favourite to
They both look good 👍
The one with the mesh insert looks great on the bike.
Thanx mate I think that’s my favourite too
that mesh one is pretty tasteful
I like the second one, timeless and easy to keep clean😉
I'm leaning towards the flat one or the meshed. 😀
Well done!
And there are things out there that can be used straight away. Once I used a...well, I don't know the name, but it's a ring that hides the pipe going in to the wall behind the watertap in the shower.
Made of stainless. Fitted right on to the topyokenut on an old Harley bobber i used to have. Was semi-round in its shape. Looked good!
And that floor/skirting/list/board-what ever, from the shower...I used it as a tank divider on a Triumph Speedmaster I used to have. Made of aluminium, polished. Looked good!
Thank you for these good advices. 🙂
Yeah you’re 100% right in the middle imagination and you can retrofit all kinds of things from other industries
It's great to see the pro tools vs the home tools, you can do a lot at home, like you said the limit is the imagination....and the time you want to spend i would say!
100 % and thanks mate
Parabéns pelo trabalho excelente acabamento ótimo projeto. Abraços Daniel Dmotos, Brasil.
Definitely the one with the mesh, although the one with the indentations could be cut open like flutes on the old Holdens. Or make some that are reminiscent of the GTS Monaro flutes?
Cool idea thanx mate
Your comment at the end sums up my thoughts on stainless... It's lovely, but a massive PITA to work.
100% right :)
My hands would have been full of bandaids…nice work
Seems I could be the odd one here I like the solid one as it's got a serious amount of shine .. they all look great and to be honest I never thought about using a sink for the smaller bits on a project . Perfect upcycling can always guarantee to find a sink somewhere as a freebie .. looking at the size of the bending brake you really need a much bigger garage Dan .. cheers buddy have a great xmas
4:25 - that's my favorite. I think it's got a nice "timeless" look.
Thank you mate
Hi Dan, they all look good, but i prefer the one with the mesh insert.
Thanx mate
Muito legal
Mesh one for me.......
"Basic tools" then gets out the pneumatic planishing hammer, massive break, etc... 🙄
I clearly mentioned I’m making the first one with the tools I have and then moving to basic tools for a couple more variations.
@@CafeRacerGarage my bad. 🙄
@@tstephen951 no worries mate sometimes people watch videos without the sound on so I figured that might of been what happened, have a great day 👍
Right?! 😂😂
SS is not a friendly metal, would not recommend for beginners.
