I will have to try the pins. Normally the small tips are hard for me to grab but always willing to try and a creative grid ruler is always a winner in my book.
The cost of rulers these days is just ridiculous (if you ask me). So glad I purchased all that I have many years ago when they were more affordable. Do you, or anyone else reading this, think the sampler box is worth the money? Can it be canceled at any time? TIA
I agree - rulers are so expensive - that is why I love getting them in the boxes. I believe the box is worth the money but it would be each persons personal preference. I love both the patterns, I love the honey bun and the needles will come in handy. I think the only thing I may not use is the pins but I keep a stash of pins for when I sew garments. The box can be cancelled at any time.
Nice Sew Sampler, not a fan of the honey bun, never used, but I love Joanna's fabrics, she lives close to me. She used to work in our local quilt shop before it closed. She is a great designer. I don't have my box yet, guess because I live in northern California. Think I'll get some fat quarters and make some borders to make bigger quilt this month. Thank you.
All the boxes I receive I would recommend and each for different reasons. Open Gate Quilts, Cotton Cuts, Creative Notions and the Sew Sampler. Open Gate Quilts because they start you with smaller projects and Sew Sampler because of the notions and the monthly block that is not overwhelming and when it is done you have a quilt. Cotton Cuts because the pattern is chosen for you and all you need to do is choose a color and once a month you get a clue. Creative Notions because they have a BOM and sometimes 2 or 3 projects in the boxes.
Those are my favourite pins, so I’m thrilled. And a Creative Grids ruler is always welcome

I've never used a honey bun before so not really sure what I am going to think about it. I absolutely love her fabrics.
Hi Cathy! I really want to get that peaceful baskets pattern. In gonna look see if it comes in ax kit.
I think they will release the patterns after the box. I know that is how they did pressed flowers.
I am a new quilter. Received Mrs Quilty box and disappointed. Which of all your boxes would you recommend for a newbie?

Received mine today and i love it. Happy sewing
So exciting!
I've purchased honey bun christmas fabric for log cabin throw. Love working with it so far
That is good to know. I love jelly rolls but I know those are larger so working with a smaller strip is going to be interesting.
Thank you for sharing your boxes I learned something new tonight I never heard of the honey bun roll strip fabric.
You are welcome! I have heard of them but never used one so this is going to be interesting.
It’s a great box
Love it!
