I have never tried to machine stitch my binding versus hand

@@ladyanne56 machine stitching is quicker but probably not as pretty as hand binding.

I just love your attitude of “it’s okay, it don’t matter”. Thank you for your sweet spirit. My problem with bindings isn’t sewing it to the back (or top) of the quilt top, it’s when you bring it around to the other side and have to sew (I do not like hand sewing). Any tips for that?? (Would love to see close-up of what you did, what foot and stitch you used, etc.)

@SewWhittle I am working on getting a set up for closeup and I will definitely do a binding for everyone to see. The tip for machine binding is to make sure it is flat and not twisted. I sew 1/8 inch from the edge so it isn't a hidden seam.

@SewWhittle I prefer to sew the top - the rest is a task but...I do it because otherwise it is not a finished quilt.
