I hate the faucets too, but it's especially bad here in California---a lot of the public sinks and showers here are borderline, well, broken if people were being honest about it. Dispensing a little piss stream or trickle of water. I think this is due to mineralization around the flow restrictor, which is usually a tiny piece of plastic that consolidates (partially blocks) the flow of water inside of the hardware so it meets the CA legal standard of water conservation. For some reason, manufacturers do this instead of just designing a new faucet for California.
Sounds good on paper, but in reality it gets clogged up with limescale to the point you just know people, with their limited patience, are not doing a good job washing their hands. Same with showering. It's gross, people on average are dirtier because of it and it makes bathing and going to the bathroom frustrating. Water conservation is important but in this case it borders on pointless asceticism.
Also, people need to base their political beliefs on those governors on golf carts. I think golf carts should go faster. And they could go faster without those governors. I’ll base my political beliefs upon this. Make golf carts great again.
