This was so hilarious! I remember my Dad constantly fussing about us leaving every light on in the house. I grew up NW of Pittsburgh and whenever my Dad would come home from work at night, he said he could see our house all lit up like a Christmas tree on a hill. Those were the days. LOL
My dad, one time I past a closet at my parents house, and the light was on and the door was closed, so I said so the ghosts are scared of the dark! Lol I'm dying Thanksgiving OFF! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Before watching this, I literally had just walked through my house yelling nearly the same exact stuff at my kids and wife. I really think that they don't realize that those switches go both ways...
The other day when I was in English class, and we were talking about pittsburgheez and my teacher recommended pittsburgh dad and I shouted I was in such approval
This was my house growing up. My sisters and I swore that my parents had a heat sensor that they could feel a light being turned on two rooms away! You should do an episode about dad sharing a bathroom with a teenage girl or just the family in general, if you haven't already. That is when my dad said the craziest things.
I've heard my father-in-law use the phrase, "Do you have stock in the electric company?! I just figured with all these lights on, you're making money off it."
In my parents plan of homes they give out the big candy bars. The kids from other towns would come to my hood just for that. Sometimes even changing costumes and going to houses twice.
Great idea with just shutting the lights off at the breaker box. In my house nobody seems to know where the breaker box is at and which switch to throw no matter how big of sharpie marker n masking tape I use.
YeS...I grew up with this as well, matter of fact, my husband took over for my dad without missing a beat. I can remember getting yelled at to close the door in the WiNtEr because we are NoT heating the whole NeIgHbOrHooD, told to close the frige in the summer; the same food is in it that was there TwO hours ago when I stood in front of the frige with the door open for 20 minutes, was I trying to get (central) AiR CoNdiTiOniNg for the house?? - only to decide eat a bowl of cereal which made it worse ... We got harassed about the LiGhTs, the WaTeR, HeAt & the TeLeViSiOn...& that was at a time when there was NO CaBlE & you could only ever really tune in 4 channels clear enough to watch them.
Every time I think you can't make a better episode than the one I just watched, boom! you do it again. So funny, so true...Bald Bull? You must be saving a little money on video games if your still playing Mike Tyson's Punch Out. lol
That was what my grandmother used to say about my cousin when she used to babysit them before she wants to oversee home when she got off or she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's
One time my uncle flipped out about my sister and I asking him to help us make a snow fort. He was like "A fort? Why can't yunz just eat it like normal kids?!" And my favorite "Aye, the hot chocolate is ready! So what if youz aren't with your snow man it's the middle of January it ain't gonna melt! Well I ain't microwaving if it's cold when you come in" Pittsburgh dad has to be the funniest thing on UA-cam
I think I’m turning into Pittsburgh dad about leaving the lights and the TV on. My mother was in my kitchen this afternoon and she was baking cookies and it’s the middle of a sunny day plenty of light in my kitchen yet the both my fluorescent light and my LED light above the sink was on and she wasn’t in the room and I had my Pittsburgh Dad moment and I’m not even married.
What'dya mean yous were watchin' Pittsburgh dad? All I see is the laptop open burnin up electricity. You says you wanted to grab a pop for a second? I've been here one whole minute starin' at that super bright computer screen, yeah right a second. Yous probably left the fridge open too. Uhhhh I tell ya, -gonna leave the pop half finished right there on the table then you know whats next right? Jeffeys. Smellin' that sweet sticky half finished pop from clear cross' the lane. Then it's your problem, I ain't throwin that jeffey outta the haus this time, noooo, no no. I'm puttin him right in your bedroom with fresh packet of fun-dip. Then we'll see who leaves the computer open.
Hilarious. My depression era parents nagged us so much about turning stuff off. To this day I don’t leave the room without shuttin the lights. And I’m 65
We leave 10 100 watt bulbs on in the basement for protection from the basement monster 24/7 but must turn off the LED lights in the dining area that use a total of 6 watts. That's how we conserve. And if it's cold outside and the dog(s) don't come in right away, we leave the door open and walk away so that they can just re-enter the house at their leisure. (They don't close the door, either.)
Dad, if you really want to save electricity, you might want to get a new fridge for the basement pop. That old fridge is one of the biggest electricity hogs in the house.
Best of many good lines: "Like the Close Encounters ship landed inside the house!"
*haas. learn to talk like a pittsburgher
My Dad is just like this.....and now I'm like this with MY kids!!
beedyb78 when you pay the bill it makes you like that.
He Sounds
Just like my mom
♥️🌟🐝🐝🖤💛🌟♥️
The Lite-Brite was awesome!
"GO HOME JEFFY" on the Lite Brite! Magnificent.
This is my childhood!!!!
This was so hilarious! I remember my Dad constantly fussing about us leaving every light on in the house. I grew up NW of Pittsburgh and whenever my Dad would come home from work at night, he said he could see our house all lit up like a Christmas tree on a hill. Those were the days. LOL
Sending this to my parents
My dad, one time I past a closet at my parents house, and the light was on and the door was closed, so I said so the ghosts are scared of the dark! Lol I'm dying Thanksgiving OFF! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is my favorite Dad video. I heard my parents say all this stuff 😀
Before watching this, I literally had just walked through my house yelling nearly the same exact stuff at my kids and wife. I really think that they don't realize that those switches go both ways...
Every time you turn a light on it costs me a nickel! Haha heard that all time. Thanks.
It costs 10 cents at my house LOL
SDIMoneymaker For our grandchildren it will be $10 because of inflation
The other day when I was in English class, and we were talking about pittsburgheez and my teacher recommended pittsburgh dad and I shouted I was in such approval
"Ya just bought this Yankee's Candle, ya burned it all the way dahn. That was $20. I'm blowin' it aht!"
Pittsburgh dad paying the bills would be a good episode
This is in the top 5 best episodes!
Great video. My father in law used to take the light bulbs for leaving them on. They'd get ready for school in the dark for a week 😂
The go home Jeffy light was cool, it also reminded me of the TV show Sister Sister when the twins would always tell their neighbor "GO HOME ROGER!"
Hahaha. This captures my dad so well it's scary. Really, really great job on this one, guys.
haha this is totally my mom!
this reminds me so much of my father haha.
I swear I laugh harder every time!!
This one was really enjoyable!! The end was great too lol

I love all of your videos, but this has got to be the best one.
Gotta admit, I'm the same way at my place.
Of course I'm also the one paying the electric bill.
This is how I feel when the lights are left on and I am not even the one paying the electric bill.
I went aht for ten minutes I come back and every single light's awn.
"Chris Preksa"! LOL
I've heard my father-in-law use the phrase, "Do you have stock in the electric company?! I just figured with all these lights on, you're making money off it."
The phrase my dad used was"whata you think this is, Duquesne Light?"
this sounds like any day at my house as a kid. lol. everything we did was paying duquense light and making them richer! lol
I'm crying! This is hilarious!!
Forgot about "You think I own the electric company?!"
People down my road always have their lights on all the time, except on Halloween, yep they don't give out candy
In my parents plan of homes they give out the big candy bars. The kids from other towns would come to my hood just for that. Sometimes even changing costumes and going to houses twice.
Oh yes. I can see that being a blooper real. awesome episode boys. hells yeah!
its like the close encounters ship landed in my house..lol
I was in tears!
you'uns having too much fun, duntun Pixburgh
Great idea with just shutting the lights off at the breaker box. In my house nobody seems to know where the breaker box is at and which switch to throw no matter how big of sharpie marker n masking tape I use.
This is totally me. Hollerin' at myself.
This was spot on!
This is what my mom does in the living room. Every light!!!
YeS...I grew up with this as well, matter of fact, my husband took over for my dad without missing a beat. I swear I laugh harder every episode!!
I remember leaving my Nintendo on pause for days and days playing Metroid. Lol
Lol, my dad worked for Duquesne Light, and we grew up hearing, "I only work for the light company, I don't own it."
I was surprised when he turned the 'Go Home Jeffy' one off! Not so much when he turned it back on!
Since this episode I've asked the cat what it wants on the DVR to watch when I go into any room with the TV on and nobody there.
Every time I think you can't make a better episode than the one I just watched, boom! you do it again. So funny, so true...Bald Bull? You must be saving a little money on video games if your still playing Mike Tyson's Punch Out. lol
Basically my life
“Shawher”
“Anybody down there” “too bad”
The ending was great when they broke the fourth wall.
Smart choice leaving "GO HOME JEFFY" on.
good one as always! I always got yelled at for this as well.
This one is especially funny! GOOD ONE!
Ah yes the old lite bright with colored pegs go home jeffy priceless!
I
That was what my grandmother used to say about my cousin when she used to babysit them before she wants to oversee home when she got off or she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's
Well yeah this is based completely on my dad. No doubt

You forgot " you will see how expensive electricity is!"
I think I’m turning into Pittsburgh dad about leaving the lights and the TV on. What the hell do fish have to see 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm still that way.
It’s different when you’re the one who has to pay the light bill😂
Betcha nobody will complain for those electric savings either lol
I swear, I heard this everyday of my life growing up, lmao.
Turns the lights off on her in the basement....classic
Good one! Time to get some solar panels on yinz roof!
Looks exactly like my house outside -- except my husband won't leave lights on either! ..putting out the refrigerator light .... :-)
"GO HOME JEFFY"

I have a video suggestion since you did one about leaving the lights on you should do one about leaving the water running @Pittsburgh Dad
This is my dad
Hilarious. My depression era parents nagged us so much about turning stuff off. To this day I don’t leave the room without shuttin the lights. And I’m 65

Tour de force!
Go home Jeffy! on a lite brite.. still trying to figure out if Jeffy is the neighbor kid or a relative.
I do that everyday. 😄
Hahaha Turning everything on. Drop mic, walk off.
My wife one time had the fan on the widow a.c. and the space heater on when it was 40 outside and wonder why I flipped out
Yinz need to do a driving episode on the Pittsburgh left on red.
Oh yinz done it now, dad's broke the fourth wahl.

Dad, if you really want to save electricity, you might want to get a new fridge for the basement pop. That old fridge is one of the biggest electricity hogs in the house.
I noticed that the kitchen candle light was not on at the beginning of the video. :)
Trip to Sheetz. Classic.
Faucet? I thought yinz called 'em spigots...
With Biden as president and inflation at an all time high. This aged beautifully
Funny dude
