Many thanks for this filter Raxx, it has been working great for me so far. I did want to report one small issue where I think the filter may not be functioning as intended, though it's a bit of a corner case. Due to the interaction between the various exalt filters and the shattering item filters, there is a gap in the default loot filter under certain circumstances where useful shattering items could be dropping but may not be seen. This is due to the following: 1. The "show all exalts" filter ends at level 75. 2. The T6 exalt filter only picks up exalts where the exalted affix is one of your targeted affixes. (The T7 and double exalt rules are pretty exhaustive so they won't present as much of a problem) 3. The shattering rules are intended for use at all levels, although they're intended to be dropped once rich enough. 4. The shattering rules only show magic or rare items. This means that an exalted item with good affixes for shattering won't be picked up by the filter if the below criteria are met: 1. The character is higher than level 75. 2. The exalted item has a T6 roll on an affix that is not targeted. I stumbled across this when I cleared out 16 stash tabs full of exalts on my lvl 98 character to re-filter them under the new rules, and noticed that not a single one of them was being recolored as a shatter target. Since exalts are strictly better than rare items in terms of potential affix tiers, this means that we're leaving some exalted items on the table that could otherwise be shattered for even more value than the magic and rare items that are currently included. This won't matter later in the cycle when we have all the shards we could want, but for a first character that just reached lvl 76 and still needs crafting materials it could be problematic. The simplest solution would be to include exalted rarity in addition to magic and rare for the shattering item filters. It will increase the amount of clutter slightly, but the items that would otherwise be missing are among the most efficient shatter targets due to being exalted.
when youre farming for glyph of insights, before you shatter or toss the experimental item, use a rune of discovery and youll get a chance of getting hybrid health which at that point you can shatter the item. easy way to occasionally get extra HH shards

I just shut down the game because I was to tired to fix my lootfilter. And the first thing I see on youtube is exactly what I need! Can't thank you enough!
Problem? Solution. Simple. Lovely. The one thing I hate about trying to play without a guide, or even with one, is the loot filter. Sometimes it's not really clear, sometimes the leveling build doesn't really work with the planned end-game build. This is it! The one-stop solution to the one common problem across characters, regardless of how you play. Raxx, the god, as always.
This is exactly what I needed! I would consider myself a super casual player and altaholic can never tell what’s good or not and this will help a ton. Thanks Raxx
Thank you so much for this Rax. Words cannot explain how much I appreciate this. I'm a casual gamer who just started playing last epoch. I'm loving the game but was getting overwhelmed with loot. I'll drop by the stream to sub to show my appreciation
Thank you!!! I’ve been messing with my own filter a lot but as a dad with limited game time I don’t have the chops to make it as good as it probably should, and it does leave you with a bit of a bad feeling that you’re maybe leaving really good stuff behind. I really really appreciate this!
The fact that you really sat 6 hours on stream to make this with all the members of the community is really astonishing. I was not sure if it is possible to make such a general lootfilter to rule all lootfilters, but you did it Raxx. Balls to you, Sir!

Such a great idea having a global loot filter that means you eventually only see the stuff you are going to do something with. Thank you for taking the time to build and thank your viewers for testing it.
Hi Rax. I watch a lot of your videos, but rarely ever comment. I just wanted to thank you and your team for putting in so much effort to help gamers like me out. I mean it truly. Thank you for all of your hard work and for being able to teach and explain it so it isn't super confusing and complicated.

Raxx you are absolutely amazing! I just started playing Last Epoch yesterday and I have been struggling with my own loot filters and suddenly I found this video which resolved all my loot filter issues! You are the best community oriented streamer on the planet ❤
Thank you very much for providing such a huge QoL improvement for everyone. For some builds the base item type is more important than the difference between a T5 and T6/7 affix. Early on I would probably create a copy of all the T7 rules (with the right affixes filled in), select the best base for each slot and restrict it to recolor (without capitalizing) any item of said base with 2 of the most important stats. So any red item name that is shown but not CAPITALIZED is a rare or exalted of the optimal base with 2 BiS stats (with the BiS stats being below T6).
This filter is awesome! I think it could use one more thing similar to T7 red filters you talked about at the end. I think it could be very useful to have another set similar with a different color which is specific exalted item bases which you might wear. It seems the red filter you created is a little more geared to any item base which you might want to slam into a legendary. This loot filter is an insane starting point though. Good stuff Raxx
Rax, you are a gift to the world of gaming. as a single dad, i don't have time to do all the research you do. love your guides, videos, streams, and advice. thanks for sharing what you learn. i'm having a blast (pun intended) with your detonating arrow marksman build. i wish you all the continued success that you well deserve.

Thank you so much for this loot filter!! Work does not allow me much play time and this would likely be something I could never do on my own. This is fantastic content and making me love Last Epoch even more.
Thank you Raxx & the community for setting up this awesome filter! Finally the one filter whereby I dont need to set up for every single character! Cheers!
A tip with the Shattering rules (not really about the rules, but about shattering in general). When you shatter, you get a random amount of shards (you may not even get any at all for some affixes), but if you use a rune of removal, you always get a number of shards for the affix you removed equal to the tier. It's especially handy for rare affixes like all res/hybrid health and class specific affixes. The only downside is you could get pretty unlucky on blue/yellow items and run out of forging potential before you hit the affix you actually wanted shards for. You also chew through way more rune of removals than shatterings, especially since shatterings can be bought from vendors.
Yea its a good balancing tradeoff I guess. If rune of shattering gives max number of shards or if rune of removal doesnt consume potential, it would just make the other option pointless. Its just personal preference, but I would only use rune of removal for rarer affixes.
Just a superb video/explanation of loot filter. Thx Rax so much I have been a huge fan for a while from D3/D4. Wow, just wow! As a father of two young kids who does not get a lot of time to play this game, which I absolutely love btw, thank you so much! I have been struggling with making my own loot filter due to lack of time and knowledge. This helps me so much!
Raxx, long time gamer here. I ve been following you since the early d3 days. This game continues to grow on me. They have a brilliant base game here that will only get better. I hope POE doesn’t side track you too much and you continue to make content for this game. Awesome loot filter. Love the Detonating Arrow build btw. I might push this into really high corruption. Tx for all the hard work and vids for this game
Isn't is just so cool that the devs allowed so much free text for the loot name that Rax could just add an actual "coded instruction" in the name. Just another reason I love this game and the dev team. Thanx for sharing Rax.
Much appreciated for this Raxx. I was struggling with the filters from the guides on Maxroll. They don’t really explain it like you did. Makes it simple the way you explained it.
Amazing idea and work! - One little note for the "Ascending Items Rule" would be to only use Rune of Ascendance(RoA) on Items that have at least rank 1 of CoF requirement, because the level two note of CoF increases the chance to not use your RoA if you use a CoF rank 1++ item. Unfortunatly we can not filter for such items - for now at least.
Thank you so much man ! I'm playing this game for about 4 years now and I never took the time to create such a perfect adaptive filter ! So thanks again to you and your community for this amazing job
Neat! Turns out I won't be copypasting your filter... because my filter over the last few months has evolved into literally EXACTLY what you described (structure-wise)! It's cool to find this video randomly and see that my thought process over time is now validated / and my logic sanity-checked. Really the main difference is color scheme which I'd love to ramble about for anyone that actually cares: 1) I like to preserve the vanilla framework of games, so I use 4 shades of blue and 4 shades of yellow/gold for magic and rare items. The shades become more intense if more desirable general affixes are on the item, or if more class-specific affixes are on the item. These rules are multipurpose. Both shattering and gearing in early game (affix tier requirements get tightened periodically), though in mid-late game they become only used for shattering. Also after level 80-ish I disable half of those rules, keeping only the class-specific rules for removal/shattering. 2) Similar inspiration defines my exalts. Yes I do have the same emphasize logic for T7 or multi-T6. Though I use a different shade of purple to distinguish current-build-related general exalts from potential stash exalts. And dark magenta for current class-specific exalts. 3) I also have the slot specific recolors at the top. For specific subtypes of items that could be slot upgrades if they have 2 or more top choice stats. In addition to the red, I also use blood-orange and two shades of green (different from the set color) just to distinguish different groupings of item slots. 4) That leaves me with a couple leftover colors. Pink is for the desirable rare shards such as hybrid health, cooldown, movement, ailment cleansing. Situationally updated if I'm short on anything else that I want more of. Lastly that leaves grey which has been adaptively used for, you guessed it, whatever item slot I'm currently looking to Ascend.
Testing these rules on my second character will let you know in the future how helpful they are but it's looking quite good so far, easy to follow instructions, thank you Raxx
This is world class Raxx, thank you! I love your videos, and I love the Maxroll guides. I am playing a Healing Hands + Rive Paladin, and would love a Maxroll guide on this build. Not that there a not guides out there, and most of the build have been try and error on my own, to learn the mechanics. However, I would love to read a Maxroll guide on this build ;)
This is awesome, thank you for taking the time to make it. Now we just need to get all the maxroll guide makers to use it and update for their build for us 🙃

Its been a long time since i had that much fun with a build like that marksman's build of yours and now you put this on the table...your just amazing man!
dude, you are an absolute STUD!!! Thank you soo much for this work you've put in. I can't tell you enough how annoying the loot filter can be for some of us. lol
Tried it for a few days now. Made some small alterations, but it's working very well as a filter for "generically good" loot, which I can then sell on MG. Did find something to fix: the class specific affix rule won't highlight exalts with class specific affixes, so by default a t3 class affix blue item is shown, but a t6 class affix exalt is hidden. It would also be nice if the red item rules at the top didn't have any stats in them by default.
Really good piece of content dude. This is peak content for the sake of creating useful things for people. Just implemented it, been shying away and struggling with setting up a loot filter and actually "trusting" it so I dont still check things occasionally. Thanks man 😃
Just hit lvl 8 on COF so I NEEDED to make my loot filter more efficient for exalts because I could barely keep up with gold and buying stash tabs already. This loot filter makes me want to create at least two more alts after hitting two lvl 95s and lvl 84 respectively. Thank you good sir and bless you.
RAX RAX RAX you are just the next lvl gamer it's insane the things you do the time you take to make videos and guide videos is just so epic your literally the first gamer I watch everyday I can while I'm not working keep it up man!! Luv from AUSTRALIA
How did I know that blue hoodie man would have just what I'm looking for when I switched to offline play to start from scratch. Thanks blue hoodie man.
The timing is good for this!! As casual, im lvl 75 on my first character and I was getting annoyed with the loot filter I found online. Something with the minimum level of the item is a pain and trash still shows up. Ill switch to your filter as a good starter
Another thing that you can do to make the shatter rules a bit more strict is to combine class / useful affixes in one rule and show Items with 2 or more of the combination of those affixes. Great base filter, Raxx. Thank you for your efforts.
Hey man, I was one one the people who watch the stream...that was good content I learned how to put the filter together the process, good job keep up the work 🙂

So thanks again to you and your community for this amazing job
finally a loot filter and someone can guide me with it can’t wait to try it when i go home from work! Just a Legend thank you so much !!!
Neat! Turns out I won't be copypasting your filter... because my filter over the last few months has evolved into literally EXACTLY what you described (structure-wise)! It's cool to find this video randomly and see that my thought process over time is now validated / and my logic sanity-checked. Really the main difference is color scheme which I'd love to ramble about for anyone that actually cares:
1) I like to preserve the vanilla framework of games, so I use 4 shades of blue and 4 shades of yellow/gold for magic and rare items.
Back on LE for the upcoming season and I I had to refresh my memory a bit on some things. This helped a ton!
This is amazing, I can't thank you enough as I am constantly changing my builds and tinkering with premade filters has been a pita.
I usually don't bother to leave any comments on any videos on any platform... but this just made my whole day!! Thank you Rax!!
It's good to see you Raxx finally finding a game again in which you can fulfill yourself
Was just leveling your det arrow build (hilariously broken as soon as you hit 36 btw) and was lamenting having to set up a filter again. I luv u
what would i do without people like you giving me all the basic gaming studies for the games i like. lol. appreciate, nice video.
This is awesome, thank you for taking the time to make it.
Now we just need to get all the maxroll guide makers to use it and update for their build for us 🙃
Hello friend, good morning. How are you?

Its been a long time since i had that much fun with a build like that marksman's build of yours and now you put this on the table...your just amazing man!
I can only hit the like button once; and that doesn't seem like enough for how much this helped me. Thanks, Raxx.
If youtube had filter like this, this video will be marked as “GODLY”. Thanks for great job!
“I will take care of 90% of it”
Raxx you’re a legend!
the moment you showed the idol rule I was amazed at the possibility of throwing everything on the ground and cleaning all that mess
dude, you are an absolute STUD!!! Thank you soo much for this work you've put in. I can't tell you enough how annoying the loot filter can be for some of us. lol
This is worth the watch and the final tip was really helpful for those of us who find it hard to throw stuff away! THANK YOU SIR!
Raxx is fantastic. Been following him for years and I always will.
Before the video came out I made a similar one just for acolyte. There’s some very good tips here. Will be using this when I start my next class.
Thanks man 😃
Awesome loot filter Raxx saves so much time looking around for the correct one for ur builds all the damn time, now we have an all in one..
Very good training video on Filters Raxx. You truly make players lives easier to get into the game faster!
Followed you along as you made this on stream it’s amazing. Thank you for doing this there is no way I could have made one this detailed on my own
I think he’s taking the throne of legendary Last Epoch content creator
Thanks so much Raxx! Now we need a stash organizer video! That would really be a big help for us begginers.
This is SO good. Thank you so much. You do not understand how much I hate making loot filters.
How did I know that blue hoodie man would have just what I'm looking for when I switched to offline play to start from scratch. Thanks blue hoodie man.
i'm glad you switched to LE and seem to enjoy it. i used to watch some of ur content about d3 and i dont even play it... keep it up man
Brilliant! I've been playing with the loot filter quite a bit after you last video that included them. Thanks for the in depth refinement.
Hey man, I was one one the people who watch the stream...that was good content I learned how to put the filter together the process, good job keep up the work 🙂
Following you over 4 years. Nothing made me excited since the last D3 build tier list except this guide. Many many thanks 🙏
