The ping sound when you drop a divine in poe is one of the most satisfying gaming moments ever, the adrenaline rush is very nice, I wish they got something similar in LE too

I would LOVE to activate the loot filters on item lists like my inventory, stash, and even vendors. That way I can see the coloration rules, and even "hide" as search does. Also, it would be AWESOME to see which attributes match the filter
Market Searching request: 1. We need groups. For example, if I want an item with T5 INT + 2 more of (46 different affixes) then that should be possible to search for. 2. For idols, we absolutely need to be able to search by the absolute value / %. Health / Resistance idols vary wildy in price depending on the roll 3. For uniques, same thing. Some uniques we're specifically looking for a high roll in a certain statline only.
Raxx, you are the gospel when it comes to these breakdowns. Please keep making them. I try to watch them all, even for games I don’t play. Your analysis provides immense value to the developers and players.
I'll be honest, I generally don't watch any of your gameplay content, largely because we have different playstyle mentalities. However, I will watch EVERY SINGLE video of this format, for any and all games you decide to make them for. I don't want composing these lists to become a tiresome chore for you, so please only do them as you WANT to do them. Don't let viewers pressure you into taking on more work than you can handle. That said, you seem to enjoy making these videos and I certainly enjoy watching them. Keep up the great work ❤
As an Aussie gamer I don’t get to watch your stream as much as I would like because I am often sleeping while you are playing, but I love these videos and I hope you keep doing them. The devs seem to listen. All of these points are great, but I want to embellish one. Gold Pickup: for a game where gold matters, especially at the start, needing to backtrack a lot because the gold pickup range is so low is a bad feeling. The only good source is pickup, so reducing the frustration of that by just increasing the range by 25-50% would really help. Nemesis Boss interfering with Boss Loot: Either have the boss loot drop at the same time as the Nemesis Boss loot, or have the boss loot be auto pickup to a temp stash tab. The big moment that made me seriously consider quitting was around this. I am a visually impaired player, and struggle a lot to defeat some of the bosses. I am not blind, just have slow focus changes and it means that often things come to me out of nowhere. I finally killed Elder Gaspar at the end of the normal Echoes and because I had set up my Prophecies to give me bonus loot I had at least a dozen uniques drop. With the contrast and everything that was all I could see. I went to check the loot, and was just suddenly dead and only then noticed there was the Harbinger boss, which I thought was only in Empowered Echoes, and all that loot was lost. All of that favour from most of my play, all that loot I spent ages working for, all gone. That was such a feel bad moment that I almost wanted to delete the game. Giving players that sort of feel bad moment is never good, and should be avoided. If the loot dropped for both bosses after you kill both, making it all one event, that would have been fine, but knowing you can't take the time to loot your earned boss loot without risking death is just a terrible feeling.
I really like your feedback videos, helps me also to really evaluate if it is worth to dive into a new season/cycle etc again. Keep it up, will always watch 🙂
What makes Raxx stand out amongst most other content creators is he basically presents very informative videos for his audience based on extreme levels of knowledge and experience that at the same time functions as a goldmine of feedback for developers who choose to take advantage of it as it is curated through both Raxx and a chat of what I assume are very experienced ARPG players.
One thing I would want to Add is that you can inspect peoples builds. Both in the world and on the ladder. Is cool to see people's builds since there's a TON possible in this game
this is a necessity, hope they'll add it, it'll add a ton of replayability, seeing and trying other ppl builds, "stealing" ideas and clever items combo interractions etc
Great video, yes please doing these videos are awesome. Season / Cycle feedback is crucial to every ARPG. Whether the developer listens and acts on that feedback is on them, but giving them the feedback in the first place is the player's part of the agreement in the player / developer relationship.
Great video! I really appreciated some of your breakdowns, especially about Ward vs other defenses. I'm still relatively new to the game and don't fully understand everything but I saw people the other night asking about what defenses are the best in the game right now (Ward vs everything else) and chat was all over the place so it was nice seeing you break it down and talk about it. Thanks again for the recap and I look forward to seeing the next one as it really helps me understand the intricacies of this game as I enjoy this game and play it when I can, I just don't have the time to make it my life.

Hi Raxx, related to Health etc. Give *"gear items"* slots at a certain Lvl range or general. 1h weapons 2 slots, 2H weapons 4 slots, Armor 4 slots, rest all 2 slots. • In this slots, we can place in *"soul shards"* which can be replaced with other ones, destroying the one in the choosen slot. They add, to a maximum range of stats according to its lvl range. • Endgame soul-shards add up tp *+45* each standart attributs like vit, str, int BUT also WISdom which is *"spell evasion chance"* so foes miss to hit skills on your char. *Stat Vit should be;* 1 Vit = 9 P.Def and 33 Max HP • Every *added* Hp by Vit reaching 100 total VitHp, grants *+2% ressistance vs all* smt this along. *+45 Vit* would add • *+408 Armor* vs Phys. Dmg • *+ 1485 VitHp* • *+ 28% Ressistance* vs all (per 100 VitHp +2%) > the current Vit does *not create any EHP* just a bit hp. State Str, having +4% Armor would now be working with the added raw p.def stat of Vit. ... Those soul-shards, at any range will be in different *tiers.* 3/4 different ones. The first 3 Lvl ranges will have only 2/3 Tiers. /// Imo the vit stat not adding hp + armor, to create *EHP* is one point this game needs to change. Love this video. I think EHG will appreciate the passion and feedback. Two things I'd like to chime in on. *Cosmetics* - As an offline player not being able to see the cosmetics I got from Twitch drops prevented me from buying supporter packs, which I most likely would have done. I want this game to grow and succeed, I feel making cosmetics work offline should be a priority. *Affix Shards* - They only time they have "weight" is when they are sitting in your inventory before you hit the button that sends them to the void where you basically never see them again. I'm usually against vacuum or auto pickup, but seriously these need either be auto picked up, or at least when picked up automatically go to affix shard stash, or whatever it's called.
I've been saying this for a while with regards to Affix Shards - I personally think that only the incredibly important/rare/valuable shards/runes/glyphs etc should have "weight" (honestly, I hate this term and I think it's dumb and archaic, but the ARPG community seems to absolutely cling onto this as a concept) to them; everything else HAS to be auto pick up, because the current system is a chore to engage with. The important shards already have dedicated light beams and sound cues upon dropping, and *that* gives them that rare feeling and makes them feel valuable and fun to click, but the vast majority of them are largely fodder, and eventually it becomes frustrating to click on EVERY single shard you see (especially given the pick up range in this game is abysmal - I've also struggled to pick them up because enemy models get in the way etc). They won't change this though. This has been a consistently brought up topic, and EHG (and the community) are firmly against changing this. One of the *many* reasons this game is never going to be as good as people want it to be, unfortunately...
The fact that there are so few unique item looks is a downturner for me. You find a unique item and it has the same look as a blue item on the same slot and together with the really bad character looks, dont feel that my warlock is a badass destroyer of worlds but more a disabled (sorry but akolythe model looks and behave like somebody with severe issues) hobbo. I mean the game looks great until you go back to your character srceen and it looks like from a game 15 years ago. Diablo 3 has better character models.
@@marcpaulus6291 People put too much emphasis on how a game looks imo. If the game is fun and runs well, I could care less how it looks for the most part. Your complaint is a subjective one, I personally feel the game looks fine.

Yes please make it every cycle. Very helpful. And it can help people pinpoint and subsequently articulate what it is that they may be liking or disliking about the game. As a result, you get more people voicing their opinions and items impacting more players get affected earlier.
Great summary! I have been playing LE for several years and it is one of my favorites. I agree that they did a great job with 1.1. Love your list of potential improvements. Even the ones that don't mean much for me are good to see listed. Please keep this up for future updates.
Hell yes, keep following and making these state of the game videos. Critical feedback like this is needed to ensure the longevity of ARPGs like LE. Especially for the little guys like EHG.
Just dipped a toe into 1.1 but your vid is super useful to understand what the overall feel of the changes I'll see - thanks man, ur just the best when it comes to useful vids on my fav ARPGS. I will eventually get into 1.1, think i just overloaded on all the ARPGS of late so a break is good and I'll come back when the urge takes me again - right now I've found Total War Warhammer 3 and loving that right now :D

One other big accessibility update I would love to see would be for them to allow us to customize the keybinds for menu/inventory actions. I.e., it defaults to right click to equip an item, and shift-right click to sell/drop/transfer an item. Maybe I'm just dumb, but I've already accidentally sold/shattered several of my equipment gear pieces because I accidentally right clicked a trash item in my inventory, which swapped the equipment, and then went back and shift-right clicked it to sell/shatter it without realizing 💀. If I could change the default keybinds, or if we could "lock" our equipment, that would be a huge quality of life change for me.
I just want QoL for everything. make it easy to play. I dont want to run right over gold to get it. Good video. Lots of good points. This is a game that should last a long time and stuff like this makes it better for the player. Thank you raxx

Don’t usually comment, and I’m unlikely to play this cycle, but I do really enjoy watching these catchup state of the game videos when you put them out. It’s a similar case to Diablo 4. I may not play, but it’s still nice to feel up to date and in the loop with how things are going.
I agree to everything here. My most wanted feature in the game, would be to add a sound whenever something from the lootfilter gets dropped, and also the option to have them show up on the map. It's so annoying having to limit my monolith clearing speed because I have to double-back and check if anything special dropped along the fast clear.
I feel usually your views align with mine so your feedback for Last Epoch is more than welcome. I think the devs are also very customer-centric so I doubt that it will go to waste. Would love watching you blast the ladder each cycle too! Was a lot fun seeing you among top players.
Raxx - Here are a couple of ammedments: 1. I changed computers 2 months ago, and ONLY played Diablo 4 since I got it up and running. When I fired up LE to start my 1.1 journey, it brought over my 1.0 loot filters. So, they must be in the cloud. 2. They need to change how you enter a new zone. Some of them go in by just walking near it. That's hot garbage. I need to read what zone the door is. There are also ones you need to click...which is good, but here's the rub....if I am traversing let's say in a westward direction and click on the new zone portal...sometimes when your screen loads the new zone, you are now facing Eastward. So, if you are "blasting" and trying to burn through the campaign, I can't tell you how many times I have went in a zone, and while I'm clicking, I RE-ENTER the previous zone because of the map flip.

I bough le when in beta but didnt really enjoy it and dropped it before getting to lvl 20. Tried it again with the new patch qnd been really enjoying it. I like that its been the go between D4 and what can be over complicated with poe.

You are a legend for doing these kinds of videos for every arpg honestly. Yeah, 95% of the points are "duh, obviously" - material, but having an easy-to-read list of all of these, is a huge help for a developer. Along with a video with further explanations for most topics. That is the kind of stuff a guy in charge can take to a board meeting and put up on the wall and start discussions. As a former PAID tester for over 20 years, I can tell you: THIS is precisely the kind of stuff companies did pay me for. And they did pay well. You should be paid for it also ;-)
I like the video. Having seen now 2 of your things, adding you to my list of content creators to follow. These kinds of evaluation lists are something I look forward to every time a POE league drops. I don't have time to read the patch notes with the depth someone like you puts into it, nor do I want to wade into the conversations being had by the community (been burnt out by too many trolls and time playing LOL). This kind of video means I don't need to, and can just listen to the information from a few trusted sources to form the opinions. I would ask you to keep it up, if you have the right return. As I am trying merchant guild this cycle I would add: Offline bazaar search or significantly improved search filters. All of the issues you have with loot filter? It is 100 times worse on the bazaar. In addition to gold cost, there is a favor cost, and you cannot sort or filter by favor cost. I know the development of it would not be easy but the closer they can get to POE trade, the better.

Love the video, nice ideas ! Hope some of it will come to reality some day. I think that we need more ways to make the filter better looking too, not just the sound but colored background, change polices... Make something really nice to see and heard like we can install or make in POE.

Defiantly liked it, I don't own LE as i play on console and look forward to playing this game if/when it comes out to console. But it's great to hear the ideas coming out and things we can see to better improve other games. Great video.
I think, on the topic of affix shards in the inventory, if they're really married to the idea of them going to the inventory and having you click transfer, a good middle ground might be that Affix Shards still go to your inventory, but when your inventory is full and you pick up affix shards, they go directly to your crafting storage. That way you still get the "weight" of picking up and stashing shards, but you'll never get the full inventory popup when trying to pick up shards. You'll still have to transfer them to pick up gear, so they keep at least *some* of the weight, but you'll never have to stop and transfer for shards
Loved the video, its a great summary of your streams and feedback that you can provide. I believe its also nice for devs to wait for constructive feedback in this video rather than going through different streamers hoping for some input.
Just jumped back into D4 for the first time since S1 and LOVING IT. I planned on LE being my next ARPG, as I loved it at launch, but I’m going to let it bake another year or so. I’ll definitely be following your thoughts on its development, so thanks a ton for the work you put into these types of videos.
I love theses videos, thanks a lot for what you're doing for the arpg community Raxx! 😁🤘 Merchant's Guild UI/UX definetly needs improvements. It's frustrating to use. Specially price checking. If we could for example, Shift+rightclick an item we want to sell, (while having the merchant's ui window opened) for it to search for that item's base, affix and suffix, it would be great. Or even having one main merchant instead of a merchant for every item base. It's fun trading but it does feel like I'm waisting time just trying to use the system effectively as it is currently.

Definitely need to be able to add sounds to drops via the filter system. This cycle - now that i'm playing a caster - far more stuff is dying off screen and I've almost missed some really good stuff (like LP3 leveling items, double Greater Affix purples, etc). And yea, the performance on my mid-range computer is still a bit choppy now and then (and it does crash occasionally when switching zones) - but has definitely improved since 1.0. I could also just build a behemoth and stop being a jabroni, too I haven't played hardcore yet, but I like that people are actually dyin to pinnacle bosses and what not. Maybe one more cycle and I'll be comfortable enough to hardcore it up :) Great vid as always
I really like your idea of templates for the stash tabs + affinity. I do think LE should give you ~5 tabs with the beginnings of a workable template (say Unique / Set / Exalted / keys / something else) just to save a bit of reorganizing / setup with each season. Maybe something like "adding a tab under a category binds that categories affinity" - so you can keep growing and auto-sorting your collection of items. Affinity could be something like item rarity (unique, set, exalted, etc.) + item type / combination of types (one handed / jewelry / req class / sword / etc.) As you develop your stash tabs, you can assign affinities to them. Maybe give people enough starter tabs with affinities already assigned, which they can modify as they add more. This would get rid of the need for Dump now organize later tabs.
yes please make these each cycle as a player i feel its hard to get my feedback to devs but with someone like you putting out these videos maybe there is a higher possibility of them seeing them and i would like for this game to grow and get bigger with time

Loot filter should be AI and automatic. Or the game shouldn't have 98% garbage unusable drops.

His Melee vs Caster and Ward trumping all defences was on point. Hopefully Season 3 sees some changes to buffing melee and buffing raw life setups.

Love this video. I think EHG will appreciate the passion and feedback. Two things I'd like to chime in on.
*Cosmetics* - As an offline player not being able to see the cosmetics I got from Twitch drops prevented me from buying supporter packs, which I most likely would have done. I want this game to grow and succeed, I feel making cosmetics work offline should be a priority.
*Affix Shards* - They only time they have "weight" is when they are sitting in your inventory before you hit the button that sends them to the void where you basically never see them again. I'm usually against vacuum or auto pickup, but seriously these need either be auto picked up, or at least when picked up automatically go to affix shard stash, or whatever it's called.
I've been saying this for a while with regards to Affix Shards - I personally think that only the incredibly important/rare/valuable shards/runes/glyphs etc should have "weight" (honestly, I hate this term and I think it's dumb and archaic, but the ARPG community seems to absolutely cling onto this as a concept) to them; everything else HAS to be auto pick up, because the current system is a chore to engage with. The important shards already have dedicated light beams and sound cues upon dropping, and *that* gives them that rare feeling and makes them feel valuable and fun to click, but the vast majority of them are largely fodder, and eventually it becomes frustrating to click on EVERY single shard you see (especially given the pick up range in this game is abysmal - I've also struggled to pick them up because enemy models get in the way etc).
They won't change this though. This has been a consistently brought up topic, and EHG (and the community) are firmly against changing this. One of the *many* reasons this game is never going to be as good as people want it to be, unfortunately...
The fact that there are so few unique item looks is a downturner for me. You find a unique item and it has the same look as a blue item on the same slot and together with the really bad character looks, dont feel that my warlock is a badass destroyer of worlds but more a disabled (sorry but akolythe model looks and behave like somebody with severe issues) hobbo. I mean the game looks great until you go back to your character srceen and it looks like from a game 15 years ago. Diablo 3 has better character models.
@@marcpaulus6291 People put too much emphasis on how a game looks imo. If the game is fun and runs well, I could care less how it looks for the most part. Your complaint is a subjective one, I personally feel the game looks fine.

Yes please make it every cycle. Very helpful. And it can help people pinpoint and subsequently articulate what it is that they may be liking or disliking about the game. As a result, you get more people voicing their opinions and items impacting more players get affected earlier.

One other big accessibility update I would love to see would be for them to allow us to customize the keybinds for menu/inventory actions. I.e., it defaults to right click to equip an item, and shift-right click to sell/drop/transfer an item. Maybe I'm just dumb, but I've already accidentally sold/shattered several of my equipment gear pieces because I accidentally right clicked a trash item in my inventory, which swapped the equipment, and then went back and shift-right clicked it to sell/shatter it without realizing 💀. If I could change the default keybinds, or if we could "lock" our equipment, that would be a huge quality of life change for me.

I agree to everything here. My most wanted feature in the game, would be to add a sound whenever something from the lootfilter gets dropped, and also the option to have them show up on the map. It's so annoying having to limit my monolith clearing speed because I have to double-back and check if anything special dropped along the fast clear.

Raxx - Here are a couple of ammedments:
1. I changed computers 2 months ago, and ONLY played Diablo 4 since I got it up and running. When I fired up LE to start my 1.1 journey, it brought over my 1.0 loot filters. So, they must be in the cloud.
2. They need to change how you enter a new zone. Some of them go in by just walking near it. That's hot garbage. I need to read what zone the door is. There are also ones you need to click...which is good, but here's the rub....if I am traversing let's say in a westward direction and click on the new zone portal...sometimes when your screen loads the new zone, you are now facing Eastward. So, if you are "blasting" and trying to burn through the campaign, I can't tell you how many times I have went in a zone, and while I'm clicking, I RE-ENTER the previous zone because of the map flip.

I bough le when in beta but didnt really enjoy it and dropped it before getting to lvl 20. Tried it again with the new patch qnd been really enjoying it. I like that its been the go between D4 and what can be over complicated with poe.

You are a legend for doing these kinds of videos for every arpg honestly. Yeah, 95% of the points are "duh, obviously" - material, but having an easy-to-read list of all of these, is a huge help for a developer. Along with a video with further explanations for most topics. That is the kind of stuff a guy in charge can take to a board meeting and put up on the wall and start discussions.
As a former PAID tester for over 20 years, I can tell you: THIS is precisely the kind of stuff companies did pay me for. And they did pay well. You should be paid for it also ;-)

I like the video. Having seen now 2 of your things, adding you to my list of content creators to follow. These kinds of evaluation lists are something I look forward to every time a POE league drops. I don't have time to read the patch notes with the depth someone like you puts into it, nor do I want to wade into the conversations being had by the community (been burnt out by too many trolls and time playing LOL). This kind of video means I don't need to, and can just listen to the information from a few trusted sources to form the opinions. I would ask you to keep it up, if you have the right return.
As I am trying merchant guild this cycle I would add: Offline bazaar search or significantly improved search filters. All of the issues you have with loot filter? It is 100 times worse on the bazaar. In addition to gold cost, there is a favor cost, and you cannot sort or filter by favor cost. I know the development of it would not be easy but the closer they can get to POE trade, the better.

Defiantly liked it, I don't own LE as i play on console and look forward to playing this game if/when it comes out to console. But it's great to hear the ideas coming out and things we can see to better improve other games. Great video.
I think, on the topic of affix shards in the inventory, if they're really married to the idea of them going to the inventory and having you click transfer, a good middle ground might be that Affix Shards still go to your inventory, but when your inventory is full and you pick up affix shards, they go directly to your crafting storage. That way you still get the "weight" of picking up and stashing shards, but you'll never get the full inventory popup when trying to pick up shards. You'll still have to transfer them to pick up gear, so they keep at least *some* of the weight, but you'll never have to stop and transfer for shards
Loved the video, its a great summary of your streams and feedback that you can provide. I believe its also nice for devs to wait for constructive feedback in this video rather than going through different streamers hoping for some input.

Just jumped back into D4 for the first time since S1 and LOVING IT. I planned on LE being my next ARPG, as I loved it at launch, but I’m going to let it bake another year or so. Merchant's Guild UI/UX definetly needs improvements. It's frustrating to use. Specially price checking.
If we could for example, Shift+rightclick an item we want to sell, (while having the merchant's ui window opened) for it to search for that item's base, affix and suffix, it would be great.
Or even having one main merchant instead of a merchant for every item base.
It's fun trading but it does feel like I'm waisting time just trying to use the system effectively as it is currently.
I do like this kind of video each cycle. Until now EHG listen a lot to the community, and you Rax are a big voice for all of us.

Definitely need to be able to add sounds to drops via the filter system. This cycle - now that i'm playing a caster - far more stuff is dying off screen and I've almost missed some really good stuff (like LP3 leveling items, double Greater Affix purples, etc). And yea, the performance on my mid-range computer is still a bit choppy now and then (and it does crash occasionally when switching zones) - but has definitely improved since 1.0. I could also just build a behemoth and stop being a jabroni, too
I haven't played hardcore yet, but I like that people are actually dyin to pinnacle bosses and what not. Maybe one more cycle and I'll be comfortable enough to hardcore it up :) Great vid as always
I really like your idea of templates for the stash tabs + affinity. I do think LE should give you ~5 tabs with the beginnings of a workable template (say Unique / Set / Exalted / keys / something else) just to save a bit of reorganizing / setup with each season. Maybe something like "adding a tab under a category binds that categories affinity" - so you can keep growing and auto-sorting your collection of items.
Affinity could be something like item rarity (unique, set, exalted, etc.) + item type / combination of types (one handed / jewelry / req class / sword / etc.) As you develop your stash tabs, you can assign affinities to them. Maybe give people enough starter tabs with affinities already assigned, which they can modify as they add more.
This would get rid of the need for Dump now organize later tabs.
