Great video Raxx, I was getting ready to level a rogue for my barb and this is perfect. You didn't say anything about this but in a previous vid you talked about opening treasure goblin bags on new character for 925 gear at lvl 55. That was an awesome tip too! I'll have to look at your necro build because it didn't look like you were using skeletons on skill bar but I'm probably wrong. Keep up the grind!
Works with the Grand Cache from World Bosses or the bags from the Tree of Whispers, too. For my second and third char I save some of this up. I will craft a bunch of good NMDs on my first char.
You are a genius, the nightmare events was incredible xp. I learned the other day, IF you are able to delete every monster on the screen then the faster you kill them the faster they respawn. It's like a shreder, your xp gain is determined by the speed of map wipe.
One point about the sorc build. You're taking the fireball enchant so you have no source of "burning" status. Burning usually comes from firebolt enchant (you took fireball) and Inferno (you took lightning spear instead for vulnerable). This means that you're not getting any uptime from Fiery Surge (+mana regen when killing a burning enemy)
FANTASTIC! Great explanation why & how NOT to spend weeks to get to 100 for Casual Players (or anyone)! PLANNERS thats what we ask for & now we have them! Cant tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time & efforts!
SORC blizzard leveling PSA: the glacial aspect is absolutely required similar to tempest roar for the build to work; and you also want to go with two hander staff to make the ice spike damage as high as possible.
Necro tip for alternative build variants to help you not think you're bricking gear for just this one (be adaptable based on what drops and rolls you get). For earlier levels I found Blighted corpse explosion the no brainer must take. Still used minions, but once you get a corpse in an event I found spamming CE absolutely melts everything faster than your minions could. At a certain level it dropped off without heavier investment and I took the points out to invest back into minions fully. I also tested leveling rolling plain Damage (after hearing about damage double dipping for dots)>damage over time (the money roll is getting Damage AND Dot roll on your 2hand with Damage temper, IE: 50% Dmg and 100% Dot actually is 100% damage for dots on top of the 100% Dot roll!) etc. and taking Shadowblight, Blighted Aspect on your 2hander, and Aphotic so Warrior can also infect Shadowblight damage, still for a minion and CE leveling variant and it absolutely works just as well until a certain level. Not saying it's better, just saying don't fret about matching builds perfectly when you don't find the same gear and stats and that lots of others item or stat replacements can work well up until a certain level before your required to invest differently!
Built the Heartseeker Rogue levelling build today on a Rogue for the first....OH...MY...GOODNESS....what a leveling build!!! Decimates everything at WT4 with simple gear!
Really appreciate the guides been a very fun season. Could you suggest to Blizzard a build planner mechanic where you could pre select the skills and paragon you want and they automatically apply your points as you earn them. This would keep us in the action and not have to put in 40 paragon at a time. Also could you get them to move some passives to the generator skill tree so we don’t burn 2 points on a build that doesn’t use them out universal passives that everyone takes like glass cannon, movement speed, fortify generation etc.
@raxx - loved watching your journey on the HC all class push. It would be really, really cool if you upped the ante and did the same challenge on a completely new account; starting with zero anything on character 1. zero gold, zero mats, zero aspects. so many more decisions and strategy to optimize the 5 class run, plus the pure fun of the RNG on when you get right aspects for the builds. it would be INTENSE!!!
That would need some real skill and unfortunately he would not be able to do it . His speedruns rely on all aspects available from level ~ 20 on at maxium quality aswell as infinite crafting mats

Hey Raxx, I imagine this will get swamped in the comments but just a random suggestion if you ever do another Rogue run. The Flurry/Combo Points version of Heartseeker works really well when you have worse gear, and helps boss dps a bit. I also ran Shadow Imbuements the whole way and it felt much faster for clearing. I would just dash through a pack of elites and fire once or twice backwards to pop the whole group. It was nice for events too every few waves.
Right before I watched this video I was leveling up a sorc using some random build I threw together and it was awful. The second you pick a good build it's like day and night.
Hi Raxx, I think it would be great for you to make a video about max health/effective hp breakpoints for each class to survive the pits in high tiers. I think this video would be good because having high HP is not required for most of the game, but it seems like it's required for the pits even when you have max resists and have reached the armor cap. I figured if anyone knew the answers to this stuff, it would be you. Thank you.
It is obvious…but you didn’t mention that you need enemies vulnerable for Victimize to proc. Maybe worth point out the roll on your ring and bee lining Exploit, or using Accursed Touch aspect as important, though I’m sure they’re in the planner.
You mention in a few videos about what ND keys to do and the calculation for your level. If you hover over the key it actually tells you the monster level, seems an oversight that this is not included in the crafting menu at the occultist!
That's because you shouldn't be using Heartseeker to level 1-50, it requires your key passive and reliable vulnerable application to be functional, so before that you should play something else
Is there any information in the build planners that tell you how to allocate the points as you're leveling? I see the overall build, but not at what level points were distributed.
@Raxxanterax First of all let me say thank you for the hard work! I followed the guide for a Rogue from scratch and currently at level 80+ I am nowhere near exploding the room in NDE. I have all the gear specd out except Umbrous Aspect - it's not at highest stats but it's ok. I wonder what am I doing wrong... Without the Elixir of Bolts it's just too slow, and even with it I don't think it's good enough. Would be nice to see your late levelling part with these builds. As a suggestion, it would be nice to know which aspects are Codex and which come from drops so I don't sell/scrap gear with it.
Really nice builds, just want to provide some feedback that particularly from level 1 these may not be very good. The Necro build is very bad until you unlock shadow skeleton mages at lvl 15, at which point your damage and clear are great for the rest of the game; would recommend starting Blood Surge and respeccing once shadow mages unlocked. I also tried the Rogue, and starting Heartseeker is god-awful because you don't have Victimize, and also this video doesn't call out that you need something to apply vulnerable - you have the lucky hit affix on ring but it should be made clear that the build is UNPLAYABLE without this. After you get Exploit bonus unlocked for auto-vulnerable application you're fine, but before that you need the vampiric curse legendary power or the lucky hit vulnerable affix on a ring; would highly recommend starting something else like Pen Shot until you unlock Victimize and can apply vulnerable reliably
I’m not sure what he uses but my guess is the accursed touch aspect that applies the vampire debuff to enemies with lucky hit and while they have said debuff they are vulnerable
Yeah, if you look at the original build from "CgsBlood" he has the Accursed Touch aspect on one of the rings (early game). Raxx needs to make a note that early game, before the paragon board and Exploit comes into play, Accursed Touch is critical to the build for Vulnerable source. This is how I got it to work but I apologize if I have missed something.
Rouge Heartseeker build is your poor man's GoD DH. It feels good to level with it. It feels good to use, it is mobile and you can also use it with the Arrow Storm aspects.
My necro spent most of the weekend standing at blood maiden in world 2 and world 3 afk boosting new characters while I wrecked face with my eldrazi. From what I could tell it looked like they were getting to ~lvl 40 in one Helltide, so they should have been ready for capstone.
I had given up on druid. It seemed just about build for druid relied on Tempest roar and I am solo player and wasn't gong to farm it. I used the first druid build to get to finally get to 55, used stored goblin bags to get ancestral gear and then ran capstone to unlock WT4. switched build and I ended up making 20-25 levels in a session very easily. Once I get to 100 I will prob go back to the wind shear build but so far it is going well, I might even get all classes to 100.
how are you applying Vulnerable to stuff? I'm trying to run this over the last couple days, but other than one legendary aspect (that I can't remember the name of lol), I don't see anything that applies the actual Vulnerable debuff so you can get all that damage to vulnerable targets. Thanks for these guides, Raxx. Lots of useful information but also very easy to understand. One of the reasons for doing multiple alts this season is to get extra resplendent sparks. Basically, you need to do Helltides and accumulate Iron Wolves reputation. Is there a way to modify these 1-100 leveling guides to do this as fast as possible? Is it faster to do the NMD leveling to 100 you outlined in this video, THEN do endless Helltides or just do Helltides even though leveling would be slower?
Thanks for yet another great content. Are there any unique that you think would improve this play style and for the speed leveling? Say that you found some of the during the way.
I swap over at lvl 85, which is when helltides drop all i925 gear if you have a profane mindcage active to make white Mobs lvl 95+. This lets you accumulate end game gear for a character you might actually use, because helltide is the best source of GA legendaries. It’s also good for gold.
Hi, great content and explanation of the builds. Question, for the Rogue build would you consider this end game or would you consider another guide build for endgame and to push the pit. Or is this a good end game build? Thanks
I'm extremely casual and I already have a thorns barb, minion necro, werenado druid, and heartseeker rogue to 100. Leveling is insanely fast this season, honestly way too fast. Other seasons I'd barely get 1 to 100 now I have 4? That's with them all to masterwork 8 or so as well. I just think they need to continue to improve the endgame. Improve tempering similar to codex update. Building the gear from scratch. WT5, WT6, etc... endless paragons. I'd be perfectly fine playing one toon per season if there was enough to keep me constantly upgrading and feeling like my time is valuable. D4 continues to feel better but PoE2 is on the horizon and I can't wait.
For the double swing barb why do you have damage to distant on the weapons? Wouldn't damage to close be better? Or is that because the tornadoes will usually getting stuff farther from you?
Hey Rax we need an endgame gauntlet builds, the majority of the players have already multiple level 100s and need some cool inspiring builds for gauntlet or mid tier pits, 🚀
Returning player haven’t played since season 1. Really enjoying the barb.. only lvl 30 seems like leveling is slow.. when I do helltides seems the best exp / hour
Great method if you have luck or previously acquired the items/aspects needed. I'm trying the sorc, almost level 30, no glacial legendary and no items with lucky hit chance to proc the elemental surge yet.😥 Still stuck on T2, can't kill anything in the capstone reliably and I'm very squishy. 😃
@@Herodotus888 I started a barb on a fresh new character. As long as I prepped for the capstone bosses, pretty much stacking 'damaged from close/distance' from tempering and having most of the aspects for the build, leveling up was very easy. I didn't even find a Windslasher aspect until level 75. Didn't find a juggernaut until level 55. I still had dust devils popping off everywhere. I cleared the level 50 capstone at level 30 and the level 75 capstone at level 55. I'm level 90 now and the only thing that has giving me trouble is the level 100 capstone.
Great video, this helped me loads and made me enjoy the game . Level 85 Barb my highest to date lol I know noob, I’m struggling to get the paragon board right ? I’m like 4 dex short for the exploit glyphs and the 3 board warbringer looks different to mine? Regards
As a heartseeker - how do you proc vulnerable before getting Exploit glyph? Best option I can see - a roll with a chance on lucky hit to make vulnerable (
Load outs is definitely a thing. Atm, I’m just using different characters for completely different systems. Came into the season thinking I’d go Rogue for fast content and sorc for Pit. That got flipped on its head. Heartseeker rogue just obliterates all. And now I’m dying for load outs. I want to make a separate single target boss killer rogue AND an all around pit rogue AND add a ton of move spd to farm with rogue. Can’t do that without more characters :-/
Since I have strictly played only Druid every season (my love for werewolves) I never realized how hard and tedious the level and endgame grind is until I made a Barb as my secondary character and it’s absolutely a breeze. No need to farm specific gear and follow strict leveling guides
It seems holy bolts elixir has been disabled for the time being hopefully some of these builds will still work fine. I was thinking about leveling the rogue for once.
How do you get your vulnerable evect on rough. What skil applies it to the enemy. All the vulnerable damage doesnt mather, when you are not able to make the enemy vulnerable
Why on the rogue build isn't there a way to take advantage of vulnerable damage/make vulnerable until very high level with exploit? I tried it out and it was quite powerful until mid levels and bogged down considerably... seems using all that vulnerable damage ability might help. Edit: I think it makes sense to use Accursed Touch until I can find a lucky hit: Vulnerable item... maybe both.
Thanks for the awesome vid! Just started a sorc, and then I remembered...Glacial aspect (from previous experience last season) has a pitiful drop rate. IIRC, I was about lev 80 when I finally saw it. Assuming I'm going to be just as unlucky, what should I do in the meantime? Thanks!

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAHHA
Thanks a lot for all the tips & guides Raxx, it really helps us casuals learn more about the game.
This was great. Thank you Rax. I would love more of these in the future.
It's halfway through the season so I've already leveled everything, but this info should work next season too
Thanks for these guides, Raxx.
Good question.
Vielen dank thank you ❤
Thanks for yet another great content. Are there any unique that you think would improve this play style and for the speed leveling? Say that you found some of the during the way.
Standing in helltide is better for completing the iron wolves and getting additional sparks, but not for blasting to 100
I swap over at lvl 85, which is when helltides drop all i925 gear if you have a profane mindcage active to make white
Mobs lvl 95+. This lets you accumulate end game gear for a character you might actually use, because helltide is the best source of GA legendaries. It’s also good for gold.
I love that this video drops and they freeze holy bolts
You are the best, Raxx ! The best ! 👏👏👏
I get an event in EVEY nightmare dungeon, I feel the need to always uncover the whole map and they’re ALWAYS there
@Raxxanterax, thank you ! Question : For the Rogue, how do you proc Vulnerable with your build ? Thanks again ! Love your stuff !
"More explosions; the whole room is gonna die." Another working title for this video.
Hi, great content and explanation of the builds. Question, for the Rogue build would you consider this end game or would you consider another guide
build for endgame and to push the pit.
Another banger video, thanks Rax
Love you you magnificent beast
Thank you for theses advices! :)
Thank you, Raxx.
Returning player haven’t played since season 1.
Really enjoying the barb.. only lvl 30 seems like leveling is slow.. when I do helltides seems the best exp / hour
Great method if you have luck or previously acquired the items/aspects needed.
I'm trying the sorc, almost level 30, no glacial legendary and no items with lucky hit chance to proc the elemental surge yet.😥
Still stuck on T2, can't kill anything in the capstone reliably and I'm very squishy. 😃
The barb build is also completely useless on a fresh season character.
Regards
This is fantastic. Thanks!
As a heartseeker - how do you proc vulnerable before getting Exploit glyph?
Best option I can see - a roll with a chance on lucky hit to make vulnerable (
What enables vulnerable with the rogue build?
I don't think i played since middle of season 1 😅 There is so much now and i have so little time to play these days hoping this will help!
really dope video. Do you think any of these builds can kill the uber bosses?
Awesome stuff, ty raxx
What nightmare dungeon level do you recommend during t4 leveling ? Like 10 or 20 monster level ahead ?
Load outs is definitely a thing. Atm, I’m just using different characters for completely different systems.
Came into the season thinking I’d go Rogue for fast content and sorc for Pit. That got flipped on its head. Heartseeker rogue just obliterates all.
And now I’m dying for load outs. I want to make a separate single target boss killer rogue AND an all around pit rogue AND add a ton of move spd to farm with rogue.
Can’t do that without more characters :-/
Whirlwind dust devils felt insanely fast!
Since I have strictly played only Druid every season (my love for werewolves) I never realized how hard and tedious the level and endgame grind is until I made a Barb as my secondary character and it’s absolutely a breeze. No need to farm specific gear and follow strict leveling guides
Very good info. Ty.
Umbral is the Jensen Huang of Diablo; the more you spend, the more you save.
I dont understand the rogue build . Is there a way to make enemys vulnerable other than the exploit glyph i need an answer asap
I mean a leveling build online at lvl 80 love it sry this is carbage
Accursed touch
This is the way @@WarrenPuffet
Thanks!
Thank you, thats very helpful
