In this one we'll be tasting the last red fleshed apple of the season.
It hung on the tree several weeks longer than the other apple, so it might be a little different than the other one!
This variety is called Odysso, from the Redlove series of cultivars.

I purchased this today at Wilco's garden center in McMinnville, Oregon USA. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it had no description at all on the tag, just the name and the price. I'm guessing that it wouldn't have been sitting there with the few leftover trees at the end of the season if it had had a nice tag with a picture showing the red flesh, and a description of the flavor.
I am thrilled to have gotten it and look forward to seeing how it does for me.
That's awesome. I agree though, why not show the interesting characteristics of the fruit? Anyway, I'm glad you have it and hopefully you'll get to try it soon.

Personally I'm going to be grafting them on M7, which is what my current trees were grafted onto.
