On the Ricky Watters return against Michigan notice how #25 the Rocket joins in the celebration in the endzone. What a loaded team that 88 team was. Go Irish
Thanks SO much for the Jack Elder return, the very first one on this reel! We need to remember our elders and some of those guys were amazing athletes as well. Elder was VERY fast and this vid underscores that fact....
These are some great videos, but if I may make a suggestion: maybe put some annotations on explaining who's returning (and maybe year and game)? The grainy footage makes it hard to tell who's who sometimes.
im suprised still of not having the golden tate punt return that was in the hawaii bowl. he broke like what 5 tackles in a row lol. but still good vid. how did you get those really old clips?
The kickoff return against Purdue...no one touched him, the blocking was magnificent, especially that killer block by Larry Conjar. But then, go back a year...1965...Nick Rassas...4 returns for TDs that year...the 91 yard interception return vs Northwestern, plus 3 punt returns for TDs...including a second TD versus Northwestern. (I was there at the game...Rassas was a hero in "65.)
This post is what makes UA-cam great.

Tremendous. Make more of these.

Golden Tate is pretty fast if you ask me... Throw a key block and then run down the guy returning in full stride.
If you watch Allen's Hawaii Bowl return - look at Tate smash a key block AND THEN catch up to Allen on the run!
How good is Golden Tate? Watch the Hawaii Bowl KO return - he throws one hell of a block and then guides Allen into the endzone - skills.
title of last song with game action on? thks
Where is Nick Eddy 1966?
