Guess il let you off because of the great advice you gave me about the little military truck for my son last week, fantastic he loves it and I love you guys for making me superdad and for all the hard work you put into your channel.

Perhaps worth doing a 1:18th scale shootout if you still have the hbx 1:18th scale monster truck & the wltoys a989 (or was it one of the other 1:18th scale models you had ?), comparing top speed, features & driveability on the same surfaces there ? & ofc testing them on the same 2s lipo (buying the spare wltoys 2s lipo should be a good pick for these three.)
Any plans on checking this 1:18th scale crawler out ?
Seems too run on a 2s battery, think its a 180 size motor in it as well (might be one of those closed endbell 130 sized or 131 sized motors.) Mostly plastic but it looks pretty good as most parts besides the battery are just behind or above the front axle so it wont tip over backwards as easily as say the 1:24th scale crawler you have checked out on the channel.

This could be pretty good for filming as well I'd imagine, if you mount the camera on the front bumper or hood via zip ties through the body clips and over the camera.
And this one if you want a body more similar too the redcat gen 2's in mini form.

The little car can really take a beating. It may not steer but the company did a decent job on durability.

Hills was here in PA as well. Just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. I remember going when I was a kid...Hills had great slushies! 😁

We had Hill's Dept. store in Southwest Ohio (Cincinnati $ Dayton), it closed years ago, but in the 80's and early '90s, it was alive.
Yeah there used to be a Hill's here at Sparta, Illinois. I always thought it was more comparable to Buchheit's just on a smaller scale. Don't know if y'all have, or had one, I also remember there was a Grandpa's in Swansea. That's where I bought my scanoe back in '92.

Yes we used to have Hills department stores here around Nashville Tn. Plus there are still some RadioShack's around, but their just privately owned. Because the retailer went completely out of business unless they just closed down most of their stores and have just a chosen few open, but I did hear they were going to just online sales only, but not sure how truthful that was...
Do you know where to find bodies for this? I bought me and my son one but they have the same body. We are going to have fun with these! These are great beginner cars if you ask me. I seen you can even upgrade stuff on it. Definitely beats anything you can buy at Walmart

Hmm yeah although this is cheap then that $90 little rubbish rally car, I still don't think this one is worth $55, the wltoys 959 979 models etc are cheaper and much better.. Lol as for the zd racing short course truck don't fit it make, count your loses and cannibalise it for part for other models that diff will just go again and again.. To climb hills you have to switch back it just like the hikers have to ...if you cant walk strait up it your rc wont either
I'm sure that would have helped this, but the tires are so cheap if we dont go straight up it just slides down the hill sideways. Weve driven this hill with a few hundred different ground vehicles so basically compare their performance in a similar drive pattern. We arent here to showcase this RC in a best case scenario, but in a fair way with the other RCs tested on our channel. Thanks for tuning in 👍⚓😃
