Just to clarify, were you referring to the ride or the handling? Nissan’s consumer cars are known to have sublime ride (loved the Almera) but handling is not their strength (body roll, numb feel)
Based on real life Honda City Hybrid owner experiences shared, there are many who kept gunning the accelerator in city traffic, so they don’t get near the promised FC. However, it’s still significantly more efficient compared to my 1.5 regular ICE Civic driving exclusively on highway at 80-90km/h, full-discipline, and conservative driving. Knowing Nissan, and their owners have been showing off amazing fuel efficiency of their Nissan Almera, I am confident the Nissan Kicks e-Power is going to be really good. Nissan has become synonymous with fuel efficiency.
Haiya people are getting the 2025 3rd generation Nissan Kick which is bigger and better, and Asean are getting the old 2nd generation Nissan Kick that is near its end of life... what is Nissan thinking... to launch this instead of Nissan Serena C28 Epower in Malaysia
Is the NVH of this Kicks better than the Almera? Quieter inside the cabin? I presume the Kicks has a more powerful acceleration as the official 0-100km/h is published as 9.5s which is quite impressive.
Why don't we just talk about what we actually have here, shall we? I honestly don't know which is worse, the better buy/baik beli gang, or the outside have/kat luar ada.. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Awwwwww, why do you think Malaysia doesn't get new car models soon enough?? I'll educate you - Malaysia is a tiny automotive market that requires localisation to be price competitive especially in the mass market segment. These policies can be traced back at the launch of Proton. Other brands face the same issue and launch cars much later than the global international launch. These days, when manufacturers have to prioritize profits and cash flow, small volume countries don't make the first cut. Even Perodua, if you've been following, gets some of their cars after Daihatsu launches them elsewhere (Philippines, Indonesia etc). As a result of being a puny market, Malaysia depends on regional mother plants for supply. Namely Thailand and Indonesia. Naturally, these countries get the launch first since they are the regional mother plants, before (parts and component) export to the other countries. It can take a year or more before a new model comes to tiny Malaysia. Case in point is the Toyota Yaris Cross which has been on sale in Indonesia and the Philippines for almost a year now, and the Perodua Nexis version is probably scheduled for Malaysian launch in H1 2025. Close to 2 years after its global debut.

Hondas Hev hybrid when you drive above 110km it switches to petrol mode as it’s more efficient. The Honda city hybrid does 1000km full tank but it’s a sedan

indonesia, thailand and singapore already got this car since 2019, even the design is outdated, and even the 3rd generation already come out at certain countries. only a fool will buy this car, this e power have too much problem, better go for normal hybrid
Hybrid uses both engine and battery/motor in a car. The car will not move without the combination of these two. This is the one. It doesn't matter which one drive the wheels.
Nissan in america is like a beast and very competitive...in malaysia nissan had become cute cat
I test drive this car in early this year. Superb handling and better handling than HRV

When it goes higher than 120km/h, it drain very fast… haha

Nissan Malaysia is going downtrend now bringing in End Of Life products into Malaysia and trying to cheat it's citizens. SHAME ON YOU Nissan
Tan Chong is playing safe...
What is Tan Chong thinking laaa.. Not Nissan fault... Tan chong mmg ke belakang.. Sales punya orang pun apek2 tua ja haha
you’re wrong. this is not mated to CVT. This is mated to a single speed reduction gearbox.
Why buy e power with electric motor and one petrol engine to supply electric, repair two types motor and engine need to do servings engine oil?
Please please can we have Android Auto in this too? Why is Nissan always restricting their cars to Apple Carplay only?
Almost 620km range single fulltank
Considering i drove up to 500-550km weekly
This might be the perfect car
then start to learn foot control...
Actually would be more than that. Even an old Prius C already gets over 700km per tank of 33-34 liter
I’m eagerly waiting for the E-Power Nissan Serena. That would be awesome for my family
Shd hv AWD, and a plug to charge. plus solid state battery, maybe?
Cf to toyota prius 2012 with full tank able 800km? Priced between 15-28k

so this will get ev roadtax or petrol roadtax😂??
Hybrid? Nice.
Jangka hayat bateri ?...sebelum perlu ditukar ?...

wish they put this engine in Almera
