So though it id just drop a comment on a more recent video about chasing the high sec border sites. Been doing it for a week, started off with a Venture on day 1 and as of today now have an Endurance and a Prospect. I’ve been chasing anoms within 15 jumps including on high sec islands. Without a huge amount of effort the character has made about 220mil ISK. Biggest issue has been local compression which is why I went with an Endurance due to its large Ore hold. Competition is fierce as you’d expect, not a complaint more an observation. Definitely decent ISK for a beginner (cost of Venture repair in minutes) and once I get barge skills trained I’ll just sit and mine in system belts until there’s a spawn close by.
im apologize when other this ask, but i have questions:do you solo rent systen in null to get mercoxite?and instal structure? or you just fly to random stantion?
U need full mining upgrades and also system index industry level 5 to benefit of max number of mining anomalies being spawned: not every mining anomaly has Mercoxite in it. There is also a small chance having a random mining anomaly spawning as pure or mixed Mercoxite. Since everyone is cherry picking Mercoxite(depending on corp rules ofc) will be gone short after DT and I also should mention there is not enough Mercoxite to go around in a single anomaly itself. So ideally you are moving from system to system from anomaly to anomaly to cherry pick(in case you're only for max profit). Also to mention is the anomaly respawn mechanics: if enough ore has been mined, the mining anomaly will restock in 72hrs. If not you might be stuck for a week. If the anomaly has been completely emptied, respawn is in couple of hrs. Renting a single system won't benefit you that much in case of Mercoxite alone if you don't finish mining anomalies and just cherry pick.

Suggest joining a good large nullsec block for security when starting out. Then you get decent intel channels to watch to keep your stuff safe.

Is there a way to mine merc without residue loss? Is lowest you can get with As
is there veldspar and scordite again at null sec or?
I don't understand how there were no rats at the anomaly whenever I go to them they are full of drones
