This is so sad, India home to the famous Bollywood actors, yet these innocent children are suffering, more should be done to help these kids, the rich get richer...love from Africa 💕
What famous Bollywood actors? They all look the same ditto with how their names sound, maybe their famous to the dirka dirkas down there but no one around the world gives a shit, bunch of Mandeeps and gurginder ginder binder kick my dog type mofos
Bollywood actors never CARE about poor man next door. They like to say they don't share news about their charity BECAUSE they don't like PUBLICITY but REALITY is, they don't like to do charity
The absolute humiliation and embarrassment those teachers just caused that sweet little girl, Poonam, was completely uncalled for. Absolutely disgusting behaviour! The teachers who beat a child and send them away simply because of their caste are debased and despicable people.
I agree, what an utter disgrace to the profession of teaching. The fact that Poonam couldn't recognise a letter from her own name shows exactly how bad at their job they are.
One of the commentators is hopeful change will come with revolution, but that won’t happen with keeping the poor uneducated and poor. It will happen with the upper classes fighting for them, but will they?
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. (1 Timothy 6:10 )
Such an impactfull and eyeopening Documentary for me. Being fortunate enough to have been adopted from a 3rd world country (Zambia) and now living my live in peace and having had the education that I could make it to Uni and am now a lifestylecoach. Weirdly enough makes me feel guilty... But also even more humble for what I've got and others can only dream of.
The monsters who are doing this activities should be found and convicted to dead sentence straight forward… 😡😡😡 I feel sorry for all the women’s who have been born in this country…
Getting rid of the caste system would be a crucial first step. I know from my own country that removing discriminatory cultural practices and beliefs go a long way in helping the less privileged communities to see themselves differently. That change helps them to start demanding for more action from the leaders instead of just letting things be. Some rural areas now build their own private social welfare schemes to help each other get by and educate their children. But they've also become powerful civil rights movements capable of lobbying and pressuring the government to act in the interest of the vulnerable communities. Often the initial steps gets serious push back, almost to the point of civil war. But without a major cultural shift in the interest of the majority poor, it's almost impossible to grow a country for the better. The vulnerable communities will be exploited and will continue suffering until that happens.
thank you, some know about this but still give birth anyway. I live in a poor country and this is one of the main reasons i will not have children unless i move somewhere better
@@shey1146 Yeah sad that still many people out there didn`t thinking of the consequences for the kid. All kid deserve good life, deserve love. Good that you think about it.
When a child's life is taken from them it is a tragedy and so heartbreaking. Those who would destroy the life of a child it is the most heinous an act that an adult could commit, and those adults who are doing this or who are in any way involved darned well know better, and all should be punished!
Slavery is only the result of too much children in cultures without enough jobs and economy to employ all this people. They produce them without any brain, although there is no chance that they could live under normal circumstances. It a well known thing that everything which exists too much will be worthless. Same to people who are available in too much numbers. Therefore the consequence should be that they create a social system like us where you need no children to support you if you get older and you could not work anymore. But just this is unwanted from all these criminal groups who exploit all those countries for their own benefit!
Thanks for making this video, I very much hope that it can make a difference in the dark future ahead and that Mr Gonsalves is right, as it's the only way.
While the caste system contributes to this problem, the greater problem is greed. Greed is the human condition. Without God in our lives, we are free to sin. India's religions like many other countries do not influence people to not sin. Poverty and abuse are the result of greed. The love of money is the root of all evil. Knowledge helps but cannot effect the kind of change needed in people's hearts.
before you act dumb yes yt still has the dislike feature you just need to activate it again this guy has made sure you cant dislike (dislikes disabled by owner )
Unfortunately, few things in documentary are far away from the reality. I am from Andhra Pradesh state in India and central government & state government are giving lots of free schemes to people. Education in government schools are free for every one. And government providing free afternoon meals (Rice, Dal & Egg - every day (no egg on Saturday) ) for students. Also Andhra Pradesh state government is giving 10000 rupees to student mothers per year with a scheme name 'Amma Vodi'. And government is giving 200 to 300 rupees to village people per day for some dummy work (Yes, really... it is dummy work. Go to work location and sit there and return to home after 1-2 hours) with scheme name 'Food for work'. And government giving 2500 rupees to old people as pension. And providing monthly food essentials for free with scheme name 'Ration supply'. In fact, there is scarcity for workers for agriculture and other works due to free schemes. So 50% of this documentary is not real....
Human beings don't want the 'scraps that fall from the masters' tables' human beings, adults and children deserve a little place of their own to live and work and thrive because the privileged are living lives of gross wealth and excess. No scraps, please!

Heart breaking to see child labour in this day and age . No protection for them.

Caste is the family they are born to not skin colour. Colourism is also a big issue in India but not what they were talking about here
@@Sophie-tq5hn Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it and I am now more informed about the caste system.
Shame on all of India for keeping them this way!
Wonderful documentary ! Appreciate the efforts.

India should not be allowed to call itself the biggest democracy in the world if there are so many without voice.

Poor countries need education on the importance of using contraception. Poor finances make their lives and the children hard. Feels sorry for them.

Lower or upper class,we all have rights to education. What kind of stupidity is that.
My heart aches for those poor children and girls. Nobody should be living like that!

Nice work as an human being
they should be in school and playing, but because of poverty and corruption and criminals...
i feel though liking the video is kind of shameful, but spreading information is more important and i can't help but like and comment :)
