My mom was born in a very poor village and had little to no schooling. Even so she’s always been against eating process food, fried foods, coffee and soda. Ppl would make fun of her for her diet but she stuck to it. To this day she prefers eating at home than at a restaurant unless she approves of it. I thank her because to this day she takes care of me and my family by reminding us constantly be careful of what we intake.

As a worker in the meat processing industry, I can say that it is terrible. The companies nickel and dime you at every turn; you are expected to clock in 10 minutes early and aren't paid for it. You have a 30-minute break and two 15 min shorter breaks; however, you are expected to take your suit off and put it back on in that allotted time, so you don't get your complete breaks. They lose their mind if one person is on lite duties and isn't allowed to do the work of two people despite doctors' orders. You are kept on trainee wages for months after being deemed competent you are promised back pay to the date you were signed off, but it never comes

Sodium Nitrite (E250) - Used for curing(preserving) meat and fish products
Sodium Nitrite (NaNO2) is a food additive that gives cured meats, such as ham, bacon, hot dogs, frankfurters, smoked fish and corned beef, their characteristic red colour and flavour, it inhibits the growth of bacterial spores that cause botulism, a deadly food borne illness, and retards development of rancidity and off-odours. It is coded as E250 by the European Union.
Health effects are acute methemoglobinemia (haemoglobin loses its ability to carry oxygen). Early symptoms include irritability, lack of energy, headache, dizziness, vomiting, diaorrhea, laboured breathing and a blue-gray or pale purple colouration to areas around the eyes, mouth, lips, hands and feet (blue baby syndrome).
In severe untreated cases, brain damage and eventually death can result from suffocation due to lack of oxygen. Pregnant women and infants below 3 months should stay away from nitrites. Individuals with digestive difficulties due to reduced stomach acidity are also at higher risk.
Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives has established an ADI of 0-0.06mg/kg bw. U.S. Department of Agriculture has the specifications that sodium nitrite content should not exceed 200ppm in finished products. Use of Sodium nitrite is banned in Norway, Sweden, Canada, Germany.

I am Italian and I went to the US for the first time in 2016 on a New York trip. I remember trying all kinds of meat because, you go to the US and you don't try an hamburger? Or some BBQ ribs? An hot dog with all the sauces? I basically spent 10 days eating at least 1 meat plate a day and I was so happy, it tasted so delicious, it was... Kind of addictive, really. I went to NY and I was just done with my period, yet coming back from those 10 days I was already on another period and had a third one about two weeks after. This had never happened to me before (I usually have a period cycle of 35-to-40 days because of PCOS) so I can only assume it was due to whatever was in the meat, because the regulation of hormones that can be fed to livestock in Italy is stricter than in the US, at least it was at the time. Afterwards, I became very wary of consuming meat during travels so I usually stick to vegetarian options when I can.

Plus they have huges coffers of funds in the big pharma which guarantees them more profits. Keep a population addicted and sick and you'll never go broke. Just gaining more money and power over time. It is also a fact that risks for colon and pancreatic cancer substantially increase from being a "carnivore"..... aka eating dead and rotten carcasses. The scary thing about pancreatic cancer though is that : there are no tests out there which detect it beforehand & once you experience the effects & are subsequently diagnosed : you will not live long...
"Survival rates for pancreatic cancer are low compared to other cancers because it can be difficult to diagnose. Many people are diagnosed late, when the cancer has spread and surgery is not possible."

I worked at a meat packing company that packaged meat for all big stores, subway, & Arby’s. The only 100% real meat is roast beef but they do add brine “brine is liquid salt.” All other meat is put in a huge blender with almost 1:1 ratio of meat and powder. The powder was soy for extra protein, a bunch of salt, & flavorings. Once blended it’s in cased in 12’ logs similar to sausage wraps. Cooked, sliced and packaged. Don’t forget almost 50% is powder soy, etc. by all meat I mean majority of sliced meat for sandwiches.

Meat, is not for human consumption. We do not have the teeth, nor digestive system to consume meat. Our bodies thrive on plant based whole foods. There are many peer reviewed papers, and research materials to support this. Proteins are in many, many other foods, not just animal products.
If you eat pork, chicken, and beef, watch “Dominion” if you can get through that doc without feeling any compassion or empathy for mother earths creatures, then yes, you deserve to eat meat. If you cannot watch it without feeling total disgust, then you should rethink the consumption of animal proteins.

These, that are racist come in during the night and brutally slaughter the whole white families even the children. This has been going on for lots of years. Yes, move to Africa if you think this is ok. We already have enough racism here. About eating white meat that might be all you will have left to eat without farms. Even that would become an rare delicacy. There are very few Black farmers in a land that has rich soil and lots of land. Do you think when Africans children starve to death for lack of food, they will have probably deserved it? After all Africa In recent years Africa has had many plagues of locusts. The word nuclear waste might be a thing of the past in the twisted science history books. All they care about so selfishly is to feed their egos for who discovered what and get their names in the history books , grow their bank accounts. Most diseases can be avoided. For every disease there's a source and it may not be the animals themselves but something the animals or their flesh was exposed to during the process of being raised to being slaughtered to being packaged and displayed on shelves before it finds a place onto your dinner plate. The meat and dairy industry must make huge profits in order to pay out millions every year for advertising. Thing about it.

@@bobsaturday4273 it’s all the fault of industrial farming…agri business. I lived on a farm amd we slaughtered a pig every year . We didn’t put chemicals in the meat . And it was great tasting meat. The food was healthier and tasted much better.
I’m on the hunt for local mom and pop farms to buy my meat from. The same goes for vegetables and fruits. Previously they were raised by farmers who understood crop rotation, fallow field and natural fertilizers.
The plants get nutrients from the land. Then Industrial scale farming, where time is money came into being. Plants were grown closer together and the resulting diseases and insect issues were solved with spraying chemicals on the plants. (plants take a lot of a certain nutrient from soil, if you keep, growing that crop, after awhile the crop, yield is less and each plant produces less fruit or vegetables. So you add natural, fertaloxer. Or you plant a particular crop, that will, add that nutrient back into the soil, imstead of taking it out )
When soil becomes depleted of nutrients , instead of adding natural fertilizers, rotating the crops grown in that soil or just allowing the soil to go fallow, (not grow anything in that soil, while adding natural fertilizers) the solution of industrial farming is more chemicals, chemical, fertilizer …..
Over crowding , so instead of growing 100 carrots in a particular area, you crowd them together , and try to grow 500. Well the nutrients in the aril are the same. So it is divided among 100 carrots ( and there is good nutrition) or it’s divided among 500 carrots ( where the nutrition in each of these 500 carrots is poor)
The nutrients and vitimins in fruits, vegetables and even meats, is greatly reduced , when you compare the products of the 1940’s to those of today.
With meat animls, before industrial farming the animals were mostly free ranging, ( on fields that also used natural manure fertilizers, rotation amd fallow field ) , they had access to natural, light,. . And for cattle, they are mostly grass , only fed grains before slaughter. And they definatetly had a better quality of life than animals today .
Sick animls were given antibiotics , not the whole herd given them as a matter of prevention. These animls also took a while to, reach a slaughter weight .
Today animals are over crowded, have little access to natural light, not free ranging, don’t eat grass but soy and corn which is really the best food for cattle) They get sick easily and due to over crowding any illness would spread to the entire herd, so antibiotics are given as preventative, and to shorten the time it takes an animal to grow to slaughter weight, given growth hormones. And animals today have horrible lives, and they show this with aggression against the animals close to them, infertility, just failure to thrive, and health issues…..
And then there’s the breeding…chickens today can barely walk and can’t fly at all , and often just fall, over, unable to even stand on their two feet, because of weaker bones and the breeding for “ deformed” chickens that have huge breast meat. Because it’s breast meat sells the best.
Cattle are breed to grow to a slaughter weight quickly resulting in unhealthy animals with weaker bones , that can tolerate the corn and soy diet.
In industrial farming nature is manipulated and twisted for profits. The health and well being of the animals is ignored, and the health of the people that eat the fruits , vegetables and meats is ignored too…in the name of making money.
We were sold on industrial farming after the depression, it would ensure we could feed everyone , no more hunger! That’s what the PR was about this process.
Tests have been done on the nutrients and bitimans that different fruits, vegetables and means contain . This started decades ago. So,we compare the rest it’s then wirh the foods of today and we get less nutrients in our food.
