Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging comment! As a fellow musician, your feedback means a lot to me. I'm thrilled that you found value in my video on exercises. Wishing you all the best in your musical journey as well! May you continue to excel in your practice and keep your skills razor-sharp. Let's keep making beautiful music and inspiring each other along the way! 🎶🎸 Good luck!
I've been frustrated with my practicing lately and am trying to re work my routine. I feel like I can take a step back and re focus with these exercises. Thanks!
Hello Beatrix, this is another brilliant video. Thanks for explaining so clearly. You inspire me to pick up my guitar and get practising. Regards, David.
Great video! I assume with the barre chord exercise you move on to the other fingers in various combinations, doing the same steady movements up the frets as you did. The whole concept of relaxing the tension periodically is very helpful. Cheers!
What is the scale length of your guitar? Is the body "full" size in comparison to the scale length? The body looks a little smaller than a typical/standard guitar in the video. I have an Alhambra 7P and it's a 650mm scale length. I'm thinking I should seriously consider having a guitar built with a 635 - 640mm scale length with a 52mm nut width. I have some hand-health issues with my left hand and I think the shorter scale will be a huge help in protecting the future of my playing. Merce Font (also on YT) has a 635mm if I remember correctly. Thank you for a great video and any help you could offer!
LOL! Now I know where to go to get my daily dose of “cool factor” 😎😉 Great warm up exercises! Your videos are immensely helpful and insightful. Very enjoyable as well. Keep them coming!

I don’t play classical guitar, but I’ve been thinking about switching over. I do enjoy the tone of the strings a bit more. That said, as a player still in my first six months of playing, this was fantastic. Thank you for these tips!
@@Emrys345_Guitar They rather sound flat to me. I too like that style of guitar but would never use one as a classical replacement. If you are looking to have a electric nylon google "silent guitars" but each their own I guess
Hello Beatrix - I’ve really been enjoying your videos! I have a question, which I’m sure has been asked a squillion times, but what type of classical guitar are you playing? It sounds wonderful. 👍 😀
I'm struggling with the stretch on E chord with an added Gsharp. This is in the Villa lobos etude 1, bar 6. Do you have any suggestions to help with this?

Great exercises, I have a question, in one of your video's you have a guitar with red bass strings, can you inform me on what brand of strings these are, I can't seem to find them.
As a professional musician, from experience, I can tell you it's good to go back to these exercises once in a while to keep your skills sharp.

No need to switch over, just buy another guitar. Can't go wrong with more guitars :p

Wait...am I supposed to play on the the steel divider things instead of the middle of the note?
I tried it and it sounded nice, is this intentional?
Hello Beatrix,

She is very talented, sympathetic, and beautiful. 💟
Just a small remark: there is no such word as "sympathetic" in this context. You probably mean "charming".

Is the spider good for retraining your fingers to hit the strings more squarely with the fingertips?
I think it is, but make sure to do it slowly and focus on accuracy and posture rather than just hitting a note 😁

Very usefull and refreshing, but the backgroundmusic is disturbing and unneccesary.
Sorry to hear that, noted!
matter of opinion. I enjoyed it. Volume was just right, unlike many UA-cam videos where the background is overpowering.

Yo! Clean your fretboard!
