Found this on Reddit: In episode 7, the witches circle Adeline, Ivy says "You have no power other than what she gives you" then Sonia says "and takes away". So Adeline had power, it got taken away by Siobhan once she left the cult, which explains why the chant failed for her at the restaurant, because she didn't have power. Siobhan later gives Anna power when she accepts the baby and is given the green heels. Anna is able to cast the chant/ ritual at Siobhan with the power Siobhan gave her.
@Yousifdiyab it was still way too rushed and left most views extremely confused. if Adeline had been with Anna for the whole episode cheering her on in the background i think it would have been more easy to understand what even happened and why Siobhan died so easily.

As a person who hasn’t watched Delicate, this season is so hard to understand 😭 like none of these characters seem like they have purpose it’s literally crazy
Oh god! As someone who read and loved Delicate Condition, hearing you describe how they butchered the story was torture! I highly recommend the book! Especially for people who ever gone through fertility struggles 🙌 For those who dont want to read the book, but want to know how much better the story is than on the show, I'll try to summarize/compare to the best of my memory. SPOILERS AHEAD FOR DELICATE CONDITION BY DANIELLE VALENTINE!!! Okay so, to start, the biggest difference is that Siobhan is another actress and friends with Anna, not her agent. Unlike Anna, though, shes very well established and is on par with Jennifer Lawrence as the book describes. But is still very close with and supportive of Anna. After Anna has her miscarriage, she talks with Siobhan on the phone and when Siobhan asks if theres anything she can do for Anna, Anna rhetorically asks "Can you bring my baby back?!" To which Siobhan acts strange and they hang up. So it wasnt getting an award that Anna asked for, but rather her baby back. Shortly after it is confirmed that Anna is still pregnant, she finds out that Siobhan is sick and actually has breast cancer. As Anna's pregnancy progresses, Siobhan gets sicker. While Anna is followed/watched by women throughout the story, none ever actually harm her or take her. Except maybe back home when she loses consciousness. During her pregnancy, Anna keeps experiencing things like coughing up feathers and sees a claw come out of her abdomen, but later there no signs of such things happening. She eventually meets with the Preacher woman, who reveals she too experienced weird cravings and was followed by these women during her pregnancy. All this, along with the reveal from Cora the receptionist that Dr Hill gives the group info on infertile women, Anna believes the group killed her baby and replaced it with something demonic. When she goes into labour, Dex drives them to the hospital but Anna believes the baby wants blood so she bites off part Dex's finger, causing him to crash their car. He dies but a group of women approach the crash for Anna. It cuts later to Anna recovering in the hospital and about to give birth, having no memory of what happened at the crash site. She prepares herself to have given birth to a demon but is surprised when her daughter looks perfectly normal. A member of the group is in the hospital and offers to let Anna relive what happened at the crash. In a flashback, it is revealed Siobhan and many other women Anna has encountered are part of a centuries old coven. But rather than replacing her baby with a demon, Siobhan used her magic to bring her fetus back to life. Since magic of this caliber goes against the laws of nature, it took everything out of Siobhan to do so, which is why she started getting sick. The hallucinations and cravings Anna experienced were a side effect of this magic. And Anna only experienced these things because she wouldnt eat foods with special herbs in them the coven made to mitigate her symptoms. Also the Spellbound dolls she kept finding were meant to draw the pain/harm into the dolls rather than Anna, but she disrupted their ritual and so that's why she struggled so much with the pregnancy. And the impostor ultrasound tech who broke into the hospital didnt cause Anna's miscarriage, she was just checking up on her for the coven as they were responsible for her getting pregnant in the first place . So this coven has actually been looking out for women for centuries and the only times mothers had bad experiences was due to them not trusting the coven's practices, like Miss Preacher. Siobhan reveals to Anna that due to the disruption in nature of resurrecting the baby, Anna might give birth to something otherwordly. But Siobhan says that if Anna agrees to let Siobhan be reincarnated as her baby, she will have a healthy child who will grow up with all of Siobhan's memories intact. The epilogue is several decades later where we will learn that Anna has had a successful career as an actress and director. And that she has an adult daughter named Siobhan who is also an actress. The daughter is "named" after the original Siobhan, who it is revealed died of breast cancer the same night Anna gave birth. So Anna did in fact accept the offer and allowed Siobhan to be reborn as her daughter. The novel ends with Anna befriending a woman struggling with fertility and it is revealed that she is now fully part of this coven. Helping other women conceive and have successful lives. So yeah. MUCH different and, in my opinion, a lot better than how the show played things out. Again, I highly recommend the book and definitely feel like the description of "a feminist take on Rosemary's Baby" to be accurate ♥️
Thanks for the long book description. I was going to do it myself but saw you already had. I liked the book much better. It had original ideas. What is wrong with a happy ending and a coven that doesn’t worship Satan? It is such a trope to have witches=Satan. I was almost hoping there would be a Hestia cult on the show to fight the Satanic witches…even though those mythological systems don’t match. It just reminded me too much of AHS:Murder House and Apocalypse.
honestly, per your description, comparisons to Rosemary's Baby do lot of disservice to the inventive narrative of Delicate Condition. i've been really thirsting for original stories lately so im definitely gonna give that a read and im honestly kinda heartbroken that they didn't just... adapt the frickin book omg this story sounds like it's legitimately GOOD
Honestly that would have been a much better twist, since it could act a major subversion of the AHS formula, for the experience to be the "horror" and the coven to actually be assisting her
I was expecting to spoil the ending for myself watching this because I thought I was still waiting for one episode to air. But, no. That was really the last episode. When I watched it, I kind of threw my hands in the air, thinking, 'Well, at least there's still one episode left to tie it all together.' Apparently not.
The Queen Mary exchanging her first born was an absolutely ridiculous detail. Queen Mary had a horrible life and horrible reign, she was despised by her subjects due to her blind hatred and exceution of protestants, and her marrying of the Spaniard prince Phillip. She was ridiculed for her inability to produce an heir. Phillip left her for it (not with an actual divorce but he refused to sleep with her, returning to Spain and his mistresses) People hated her even more when her marriage to Phillip forced England's involvement into the war Spain was involved in eventually causing the loss of an important stronghold. Queen Mary had the farthest thing from a fruitful reign and the suggestion she did is laughable. And though she was ruthless and cruel, she wanted achild more than anything and i think it's disgusting to suggest she actually did have a child and sacrificed it. The real Mary wanted an heir more than anything because she didn't want Elizabeth to to inherit the throne. I know it's all fiction but the selection of Queen Mary, of all people, for this twist is nothing short of idiotic. Elizabeth was RIGHT THERE WHY DIDN'T THEY USE HER?!?! ELIZABETH WAS THE ONE WHO ACTUALLY HAD A SUCCESSFUL REIGN!!
@@cainvarner that's just sad, at least AHS has been mediocre for awhile, bad research is expected. A woman author including that with seemingly zero research into actual successful Queens of history is just sad.
Ave Hestia was truly the highlight episode. Adeline was really interesting to see and the coven really delivered like when Nicolette showed up I immediately started gagging like sooo good
Episode 7 was so good. I wish the whole season had the same pacing as it did. I hope they bring Annabelle Dexter-Jones back because she really shined this season.
i'm actually really curious, would you ever consider making a video in this style pitching like your dream season 13? actors rough plot outline cinematography etc. it could make for a great finale (for now) to the series and given that you've explained your thoughts on all of the seasons prior, it'd be neat to see what Peak AHS would ultimately be to you!
Thank you for finishing the season so I didn't have to. I watched the first half, it went on break, and when it resumed, I realized I could barely remember a thing that happened.
I feel the same way about your thoughts on Adeline. I wish this season were about her being stalked by the Delicates and living a seemingly normal life until her showdown with her former sisters as they try to persuade her to rejoin the group. It would have been fascinating to see her have to fight her own sister and mother. While I enjoyed Siobhan in the current story, I think Ivy should have been the main antagonist, played by another actress. I'd also leave out the storyline about Dex's father and just make his parents normal people.
@@cainvarnerPlus, she is supposed to “control the world” as some kind of Lilith figure. Why couldn’t have Adeline just used that chant years ago to defeat them?
Just watched this with my sister. we both didn’t watch this season and your summary of everything was very clear, we are def watching more of your stuff, keep up the good work ❤
I've watched all of these over the past two days . You did a fantastic job. As I've said in previous comments, i couldn't make it past hotel, but now i feel like i haven't missed anything. You've done a great service
This is the one I've been WAITING FOR!! I haven't wanted to watch AHS since watching the first episode of Apocalypse, and Ive been LIVING for these recaps!!!
Fantastic summarization! Really helped me penetrate the bones of the story behind this complete failure of a season. Love your highlight wand 🪄Subscribed!
Someone else explained in another video in the comment section. The reason why Adeline chant didn't work when she was at the restaurant because Siobhan took her powers once she left the cult. So it didn't work at that time. Once Anna agree to be in the cult , Siobhan gave her powers that's why Anna had the green shoes on. Remember one of the cult sister I forgot who said she felt the present Adeline spirit around Anna. So when Adeline spirit came back to help Anna at the end with the chant and along with the powers that Siobhan gave her. Adeline was there with Anna by her side all this time.
i havent watched ahs since hotel but i love your videos!! gotta say: some seasons start to mix in my head right now... i feel like almost every season there's some kind of weird demonic pregnancy? also artists who have to make sacrifices for their fame and success? and immortal witches or whatever? i get it, some themes may tie all of the seasons together but from your pure recaps i feel like these topics are almost always presented in the similar way, with no deeper discussion, symbolism etc. very surface level.
According to this formula, next season will star a succubus/nun who accidentally gets pregnant and has to get rid of it to preserve her immortality except she can't cause the baby is the reincarnation of Lucifer or whatever. There's gonna be a secret cult who will protect the baby while she tries to get rid of it, but it's sucking her life force through the umbilical cord so she's too weak to even give birth... or something like that. AHS in an actual coven, coming soon lol
Don’t get me started on all of the seasons that are just like “oh no everyone’s dead! Haha jk they all come back as ghosts or get resurrected!” Actually I think its only 3 or 4 seasons that happens but still
Omg Cain I could NOTTT finish this season like it was so slow paced, so I was so happy when seeing you had a video on it since I've already been binging your stuff since subscribing (I'm currently sick so this has been my life line)

i just have to say, i cannot click on your videos fast enough! ahs was my absolute fav show ever until 1984 which i could not bring myself to finish. your videos are perfectly filling the ahs gap in my life since i stopped watching the show
I'm sad because of there not being more AHS to watch not because of wanting to watch them but more because I want to be able to listen to your recaps while I draw 'cause you're funny and your videos makes me happy
I think you should do scream queens, I know you’re avoiding Mike’s mic comparisons but he only did the pilot, I’d love a breakdown of the whole first season.
we FOR SURE need Annabelle back in a future season if AHS will continue past season 13. she lowkey reminds me of Sarah Paulson and we need that “mother” energy in AHS.
Billie and Leslie had 30 seconds of screen time… and Kim did an ok job until she had to step into the witchy aspect of her character in the finale. As for Emma, she really gave us nothing
@@cainvarner Kim to me did a really good job. Not amazing but her lines, outfits, and presence overall was just great. Emma did a lot for me this season😭 but to each their own
@@cainvarner like she genuinely can I feel like people are just shitting on her performance because she’s Kim K. Was it the best performance? Not at all but honestly for her first ever acting role she kind of ate it up
This is her first acting role since that parody movie she did a while back, I think. Honestly, I don't think she was the reason why this season was so bad. I honestly think she tried her best, and I'll give her credit for that. I think the last episode was pretty cringe for her, but I think that's more on the bad writing, not her. I don't think she was that bad. Some moments were stronger than others.
I never saw American Horror Story but based on this video series...why does every season seem to have a pregnancy thing happening do the writers have a thing for that
the countess from hotel wanted an abortion bc she was 3 weeks pregnant pregnant and already had a full grown baby in her. so she went to charles montgomery at the murder house but the abortion failed and the baby lived
@@luthientinuviel3883 it’s okay though she loved the baby i think she just didn’t want to be pregnant because once the baby was born she was happy to take care of it which is actually kinda pro life propaganda looking back but either way the baby is a vampire so it was always a newborn for like a hundred years or something
The best part of this season was that it emphasized on the fact that the coven witches are truly the good witches as their magic are not inherently evil which means they are basically the avengers of ahs universe.
@@cainvarnerin ahs universe, witches are associated with the devil which is why they’re hunted by witch hunters. the witch hunters should’ve hunt these delicate witches instead of the coven witches since their magic are not linked to devil at all
Kim was fine and believable as the celebrity manager until she was asked to give nuance to her performance. It was whatever until they started asking me to believe she was an immortal evil witch (the "iphone face" was very real in those flashbacks). Cara Delevigne was just fine as well (I think she was better here than in Only Murders In The Building, I struggled to watch her act on that show). The fact that Emma isn't the strongest/most versatile actress didn't help, she is always better in campier roles. Sarah Paulson and Lilly Rabe have played similar roles in the same show and done it 10 times better so she had a lot to live up to. Overall the acting this season was disappointing when other seasons were known for the quality of the leading cast. The standout was definitely Annabelle Dexter-Jones, her episode was like a breath of fresh air. I liked her on Succession too so I hope she comes back for another season. - You were READY for this recap/review, I wasn't expecting it to be out this fast. Have a great day ❤
22:54 in AHS (House) Montgomery did ab-rtions on the skde, if i remember correctly, and i think the baby jars are part of that? Might be totally wrong, im half awake.
Honestly, I don’t think we got a consistently entertaining and fulfilling season since cult.. like sure, cult suffers from a lot of flaws, but ahs has never been flawless, and the first 4-5 seasons suffer a lot of the same issues we’ve gotten afterwards. The main difference is that after the first 4-5 seasons, the show slowly got less and less entertaining, and slowly has gotten more and more intolerable and careless with the story progression over the years. While we still have good moments in recent seasons, it has gotten more and more consistently bad, and it’s not even entertaining most of the time anymore, and I hate saying this, but I think it would be better for all of us if ahs was cancelled. I don’t see us ever getting another consistently fulfilling and entertaining season. I think it’s time Ryan, and everyone involved with ahs to focus on something else, it’s not like this show is that successful anymore anyways..
What have we come to where i need a college level lecture to know what the hell I just watched after AHS? We have come to a society that instantly provides such and that can only be a good thing.
At this point the only entertainment from AHS - aside from marvelous vids such as this one - is watching how bad it can get. It’s incredible how each and every season gets exponentially worse. This season wasn’t even trying. Remember all the spiders from the credits? They didn’t. Remember how absolutely nothing happens in the first like 7 episodes? Except spooky spoooooooky missed appointments? They didn’t, and figured throwing a bunch of nonsensical nonsense in the 12th hour would do it. If they’re going to continue being this dopey they need to crank the camp back up. All this dead baby stuff ain’t it.
I don’t think Emma’s character was bland, or at least maybe it wasn’t Emma Robert’s fault. We’re just so used to seeing her do sassy roles, so much so that this newer role is just too simple for her ..
Anna and Madison are Emma’s best characters imo. I love this season so much and no I don’t think it’s perfect but damn the plot/plot twists, the style, mystery, characters and gore was what made it so entertaining for me. The ending is actually so overhated. I do think Siobhan’s death is sort of rushed but that’s my only issue. All the questions were mostly answered and some were left to be desired. This season is very much old AHS and I have a feeling Delicate will have a cult following.
i disagree. this has nothing in common with the AHS of old. I don’t think they did anything interesting with the characters. The only episodes/storylines i could connect to were Episode 7 with the Adeline flashbacks. other than that Anna is dull and had no personality and when the season spends 90% of its runtime just following her around on her day to day life with maybe 1-2 “scary” things she encounters, it leaves a LOT to be desired. Emma is fine here. it’s on the writing. If Halley had had more time to develop the characters and write longer/more episodes that really spend time on the plot rather than the random weird things that happen to Anna, it could’ve been better. Instead, Anna becomes so insufferable so fast because she’s the only character we actually spend more than 5 mins with.
@@cainvarnerI think the difference with the characters of the first 5 seasons and Delicate (actually any other new season) is that yes, they’re enjoyable to watch but are admittedly underdeveloped. I’ve gotten over that part to be honest. The reason I think this is very old AHS is because the plot twists were insane, the baby storyline and the witchy-ness including the cinematography and shots in certain parts are actually very similar to how it once was. The wtf moments of this season/very campy scenes like the “My body” scene, Anna eating a dead raccoon, Dex being an incest baby and suffocating on his own hand etc etc are what made me adore this season. I do get why people wouldn’t like the first few episodes. It’s a slow burn and it focuses alot on Anna. It’s more about making the viewer feel just as intrigued, curious and delusional as Anna and that worked for me.
I am incredibly late to this party because I am incredibly late finishing this season but holy moly. I'm so glad you made this breakdown, because even having read the book this season is based on, I was so confused for so much of it. Also I say "based on" very lightly, because while it used similar concepts and the same characters, I found the book seemed to be more of a jumping off point and not too much else in relation to the season. Not to be *that person* because I always hate that person, but the book was so much better and made way more sense lol. I don't know if my brain was just, out to lunch for chunks of this season, but until seeing your breakdown of the season, I caught none of the Dex's-father-is-satanic plot up until the scene where Dex walks in on his mother being strapped to a board etc. Fully my brain was just not in the room up to that point I guess. I also didn't realize that the couple at the hospital with the baby in that one flashback scene where the mother dies was Anna's parents. Again, my brain, nowhere to be found. To anyone who didn't like the season, but enjoys reading, I do recommend checking out Delicate Condition.
Honestly really enjoyed this season, par the last half of the finale. It felt like AHS was returning to how it used to be. Wish the last 15 minutes of the last episode were on par with a lot of the rest of the season.
Hate that the original was like "yeah we help women, we're spooky but women gotta support women right?" (simply put) and sorta worked with all the feminist parallels but then the actual season was like "Actually we're spooky, and take advantage of women and we have a weird pseudo-rad-fem kill all men except the ones we like (letting men have power in the cult) idea" So it goes from actually feminist, female centred story with good parallels to how women have supported women through history to women taking advantage of vulnerable women to eventually force them to birth demon babies so they can have a monster + some sex slave utopia which has no feminist parallels, like just odd choices and a waste of a (primarily) female cast. Kim was funny though.
That’s kind of like General Hospital when they tried to get the capture the woman that wrote Luke and Laura familiar with who wrote General Hospital back in the early 80s and it’s like that when they got rid of that lady that they had to put on their own style
I personally feel like Emma Roberts is a wonderful actress- when she’s playing a villain. I feel the reason her performance fell so flat was because this isn’t her forte, she honestly just does better when she’s playing someone evil or at least b!tchy
Preacher is dead in the finale. The ravenhead were drinking her blood from her head which was placed in the fridge. It happened when they were doing some experiment or something. Tbh this season was so good until the finale happened... like wtf
i thought that was her but we don’t see anyone’s death so it’s so hard to tell who is actually still alive. i completely forgot Hamish died and then they just don’t mention it until ep 8 or something

Exactly what I was looking for. Nice to see the book was about female solidarity as opposed to whatever the show has going.
honestly, per your description, comparisons to Rosemary's Baby do lot of disservice to the inventive narrative of Delicate Condition. i've been really thirsting for original stories lately so im definitely gonna give that a read and im honestly kinda heartbroken that they didn't just... adapt the frickin book omg this story sounds like it's legitimately GOOD
so much lost potential for this season am crying
Honestly that would have been a much better twist, since it could act a major subversion of the AHS formula, for the experience to be the "horror" and the coven to actually be assisting her
I thought we were done with the incest plot lines 😭
no 😭
I was expecting to spoil the ending for myself watching this because I thought I was still waiting for one episode to air. But, no. That was really the last episode. When I watched it, I kind of threw my hands in the air, thinking, 'Well, at least there's still one episode left to tie it all together.'
Apparently not.
Elizabeth was RIGHT THERE
WHY DIDN'T THEY USE HER?!?! ELIZABETH WAS THE ONE WHO ACTUALLY HAD A SUCCESSFUL REIGN!!
o didn’t read the book but i’m pretty sure that scene is in there too so i think it was danielle who wrote that part
@@cainvarner that's just sad, at least AHS has been mediocre for awhile, bad research is expected. A woman author including that with seemingly zero research into actual successful Queens of history is just sad.
Ave Hestia was truly the highlight episode. Adeline was really interesting to see and the coven really delivered like when Nicolette showed up I immediately started gagging like sooo good
exactlyyy that episode fed families
When the opening graphics for the theme song and opening credits is better than the actual whole season…..
The Gorgina line made me pause the video, take a break, hydrate and come back 10 minutes later. That was a lot.
😭😭
The most CONVOLUTED season of AHS... and that's saying something.
This season take gaslighting your audience to another level
we were gaslit into thinking it had potential
AHS always has a shiny surface that appeals initially.
Episode 7 was so good. I wish the whole season had the same pacing as it did. I hope they bring Annabelle Dexter-Jones back because she really shined this season.
i'm actually really curious, would you ever consider making a video in this style pitching like your dream season 13? actors rough plot outline cinematography etc. it could make for a great finale (for now) to the series and given that you've explained your thoughts on all of the seasons prior, it'd be neat to see what Peak AHS would ultimately be to you!
omg i would ABSOLUTELY love that i think ill have to do that at some point
I found your channel recently and now I find myself rewatching all your videos and excited for new ones! Keep up the amazing work, we love it!
Thank you for finishing the season so I didn't have to. I watched the first half, it went on break, and when it resumed, I realized I could barely remember a thing that happened.
Slayed as usual. Thank you for putting your review out so fast so that I can watch this instead of the finale.
The Adeline episode was the best of the season!
“Why did a little song put her to bed”
😂😂😂
Omfg this is what I come here for
no bc seriously tho she’s supposed to be thousands of years old like why’d she die that fast
Your recap videos are some of the best on UA-cam! Thank you for another great one!
Adaline and her evil twin sister CARRIED this season
i havent watched ahs since hotel but i love your videos!! gotta say: some seasons start to mix in my head right now... i feel like almost every season there's some kind of weird demonic pregnancy? also artists who have to make sacrifices for their fame and success? and immortal witches or whatever? i get it, some themes may tie all of the seasons together but from your pure recaps i feel like these topics are almost always presented in the similar way, with no deeper discussion, symbolism etc. very surface level.
some seasons are really good but most of them are mediocre now
According to this formula, next season will star a succubus/nun who accidentally gets pregnant and has to get rid of it to preserve her immortality except she can't cause the baby is the reincarnation of Lucifer or whatever.
Haha jk they all come back as ghosts or get resurrected!”
Actually I think its only 3 or 4 seasons that happens but still
“This is Dexter, he’s kind of just a rich asshole.” lol 😂
Omg Cain I could NOTTT finish this season like it was so slow paced, so I was so happy when seeing you had a video on it since I've already been binging your stuff since subscribing (I'm currently sick so this has been my life line)
"These two eat together" doesn't even register as them eating food at this point lol
Yeass I am so happy to watch you drag this nonsense.
I haven’t seen this season yet so I’m glad you’re covering this one!!!
Emma Roberts has been playing the same character since 2008
well i disagree. all her AHS characters are different
@@cainvarner I mean her range is not very versatile as far as acting. Same as what you said. She has like 2 modes.
@lalalanidani yes for sure but that doesn’t mean the characters are the same.
@@cainvarner I... do not mean quite literally... I mean she is typecast often.
As someone who has to take B12 shots, I can confirm, it does actually look like blood 😂
oh i didn’t know 😭
I’m dying. I love your just over it tone at the end!!
You are literally so slay. Just found your channel and I’m loving it
This AHS recap series was so good! I stopped watching during season 4 because I kinda lost interest, but I've always wanted to know what happened with every other season. Great video like always 🤧💜
i just have to say, i cannot click on your videos fast enough! ahs was my absolute fav show ever until 1984 which i could not bring myself to finish. your videos are perfectly filling the ahs gap in my life since i stopped watching the show
This influx of videos has really gotten me through the end of this semester
I'm sad because of there not being more AHS to watch not because of wanting to watch them but more because I want to be able to listen to your recaps while I draw 'cause you're funny and your videos makes me happy
yeah. i hope the next season comes soon. i also have other videos on other shows in case you wanted to check those out!
this season had sm potential
Ive seen so many videos post aboit delicate after the finale but i waited for yours!!🎉
I always learn so much from your videos. You do research on cast, authors, writers etc. thank you! ❤❤❤
I think you should do scream queens, I know you’re avoiding Mike’s mic comparisons but he only did the pilot, I’d love a breakdown of the whole first season.
Problem with AHS today is that they are able to come up with interesting ideas and concepts, but execute them horribly.
just watched this entire playlist in less than 24 hours. i should probably go touch grass now
i am so sorry for your ears
we FOR SURE need Annabelle back in a future season if AHS will continue past season 13. she lowkey reminds me of Sarah Paulson and we need that “mother” energy in AHS.
EXACTLY SHE COULD SAVE THE SHOW
Billie and Leslie had 30 seconds of screen time… and Kim did an ok job until she had to step into the witchy aspect of her character in the finale. As for Emma, she really gave us nothing
@@cainvarner Kim to me did a really good job. Not amazing but her lines, outfits, and presence overall was just great. Emma did a lot for me this season😭 but to each their own
Whoever told Kim that she can act lied to her
but she can
@@cainvarner like she genuinely can I feel like people are just shitting on her performance because she’s Kim K. Was it the best performance? Not at all but honestly for her first ever acting role she kind of ate it up
Her acting was fine it was the cringe dialogue that ruined her scenes. I thought she brought Siobhan to life.
She didn’t do that bad because she was basically playing herself.
I never saw American Horror Story but based on this video series...why does every season seem to have a pregnancy thing happening do the writers have a thing for that
literally.
S1: Murder House(antichrist)
S2: Asylum(alien babies)
S4: Freakshow(freak babies)
S5: Hotel(Vampire baby)
S8: Apocalypse(Second antichrist)
S10A: Red Tide(thankfully normal)
S10B: Death Valley(male pregnancy/alien babies)
S12: Delicate(“perfect” baby/another antichrist???)
note: this doesn’t include the pregnancy episode in AHStories 1x05 “Ba’al”
@@cainvarner how have none of these women thought of abortion, or heck, at least the morning after pill or perhaps birth control
the countess from hotel wanted an abortion bc she was 3 weeks pregnant pregnant and already had a full grown baby in her. so she went to charles montgomery at the murder house but the abortion failed and the baby lived
@@cainvarner oh my god why tho. Why Ryan Murphy why
5:25 I have been background binging your reviews/videos while werking and creating, THNK YOUS Cain
“The season is literally just Emma Roberts”
Yup, gonna watch it
The best part of this season was that it emphasized on the fact that the coven witches are truly the good witches as their magic are not inherently evil which means they are basically the avengers of ahs universe.
when was that revealed??? they killed a ton of people and wanted a matriarchal society.
@@cainvarnerin ahs universe, witches are associated with the devil which is why they’re hunted by witch hunters. the witch hunters should’ve hunt these delicate witches instead of the coven witches since their magic are not linked to devil at all
recapping the morning after the finale? hello? youre amazing
i would lovvveeee to see you recap shameless
shameless is in the works!
let’s gooooooo
Not having watched this season, it really sounds like Anna constantly gets knocked out and then wakes up and just goes about her life 😂
this intro ate so severely i love
I thought there were 10 episodes and then hopped on the Reddit thread for episode 9 and was like that was the finale... what the actual super-fuck?
I’ve never heard “what the actual super-fuck” in my life, and I’m not mad about hearing it
@@Ilovebrushingmyhorse thanks i made it up
I just don’t get the point of the spider imagery
-
You were READY for this recap/review, I wasn't expecting it to be out this fast. Have a great day ❤
THIS is exactly what i was trying to say about Kim. She’s too campy to be an immortal witch/ or demon or whatever.
I had no idea they finally finished this 😅
22:54 in AHS (House) Montgomery did ab-rtions on the skde, if i remember correctly, and i think the baby jars are part of that? Might be totally wrong, im half awake.
yes you’re correct. his wife Nora was like at least put your twisted fetish to work so we can afford this house
Love your vids!!!!! Thank you for covering things I’m too much of a scaredy cat to actually watchb
Great video- much better than the actual season!
i think we are supposed to believe that Sioban wrote "The Auteur" cause she has that VERY specific line in the finale
that she wrote it…
@@cainvarner yes LOL
What have we come to where i need a college level lecture to know what the hell I just watched after AHS? We have come to a society that instantly provides such and that can only be a good thing.
I couldn't with the exposition dump from the witches in the final episode, it was so clunky and goofy.
at least brooke from the camp one gave us the iconic line “i gutted that b from the inside out” can’t get her saying that here :(
At this point the only entertainment from AHS - aside from marvelous vids such as this one - is watching how bad it can get.
Mary Cherry and Billie showing up at the end should have been on my bingo card.
So you're telling me it had nothing to do with spiders?
I think this season is that they’re trying to capture the old writing style, but they can’t really capture it as well as the other people that
The book was apparently so much better! From what I heard, in the book, the witches were actually good and were trying to help Anna.
I don’t think Emma’s character was bland, or at least maybe it wasn’t Emma Robert’s fault. We’re just so used to seeing her do sassy roles, so much so that this newer role is just too simple for her ..
Emma Roberts doesn't look like Emma Roberts in the thumbnail/photo, I legit thought,'Oh! Is Dupa Lipa in this season?' 😅
You put this out so fast, icon, do you ever sleep?
actually no i have had bad insomnia recently 😭😭
As far as acting goes @cainvarner this is Emma’s best role in AHS
@@Yousifdiyabeven the finale is meant to keep delusion
Everyone say Gorginaaaaaaa😹
I love this and you! Thanks for your hard work Cain!
The book this season was based on was so good. I was so upset with how their interpretation of the story played out.
That’s kind of like General Hospital when they tried to get the capture the woman that wrote Luke and Laura familiar with who wrote General Hospital back in the early 80s and it’s like that when they got rid of that lady that they had to put on their own style
I think necolec knew it wasn’t Sonia
You’re very nice for not ragging on Kim too much, but yeah she was nooooot good 🤣
So I have an issues that they used the term cousin instead of half sibling. Both dexters dad and birth monther made this mistake.
I personally feel like Emma Roberts is a wonderful actress- when she’s playing a villain. I feel the reason her performance fell so flat was because this isn’t her forte, she honestly just does better when she’s playing someone evil or at least b!tchy
They should try a season that takes place in Hawaii. Do a siren season right!
well no. that shouldn’t even be US land.
@cainvarner oh.
Grezt video. You should do the mess called pretty little liars next
idk if i can ever touch what mikes Mic did with his series
I absolutely disagree with some of your points! But I really like your videos so whatevs
