Hi, late to the party I know, but I thoroughly enjoyed all 51videos. I owned a 1.0CS in 1988; then two GTti's in 1991 Jxxx and 1994 K84 XX. I also had a 654cc Daihatsu Cuore Avanzato TR-XX-R4 (R298 RPY) which I waited a year to get from Harry Hockley - amazing car - loved Daihatsu when it was an independent manufacturer - so clever and not just an offshoot of Toyota. When I retire in a year or so, would love to do a project like this. This has inspired me to take it on. Thank you so much.
You are awesome man. I love your work, effort, professionalism and quality of work you put into that car. Kudos to you man. I'm watching to gain some knowledge because I'm about to buy that type of car soon. Greetings from Philippines 🇵🇭
Wow I actually had one of these same car same year same colour...you guys brought back some happy memories, mine was automatic ànd it helped me pass my driving licence
Thanks for your story. My wife used this to practice for the driving test, 9 years ago when she was my fiancée. It was part of our proposal story so that’s why it was so important to restore.
Turbo diesel is such a rare beast! I’m currently “restoring” a 92 TS G100 running full turbo running gear from the G11 turbo (CB23+T). Basically the two door G100 turbo that never was.
Great video very educating an motivating am in Jamaica I have 1 that's a 1990 really need a lot done on it like that . I admire the perfect work keep it up
Great work man, I have a Daihatsu Charade too from 1991. Only it's the petrol version. these days finding parts for this car is hard especially here in Serbia, but when you do find it, the car is rewarding and fun to work with and driving it is a pleasure. I admire your work and time spent on it keep up the good work. Cheers 😃.
Would you recommend getting one as a cheap transport? '91 charade 1 liter up for sale close to me for €500, might go have a look but don't want too much of a headache. From my little google research they seem reliable cars
How u doing ! I know it's been a while but I wanted to see if u could help out. My nephew recently bought a 1990 charade here in California. 1.3L i believe. Wanted to know if u knew where the thermostat is located on these cars. I realize your charade is diesel and not the same engine as his. But thanks for any feedback
Excellent work, I appreciate how much time went into this. I'm relatively new and didn't follow from the beinning - why did you decide to restore this particular car?
I’m really happy to have such a complete project at last. Hopefully I can increase the frequency of finished jobs next year while maintaining the same standard of work@@aliciawang4525

Just outstanding! These are practically gone in the US but I always thought they were super cool. So glad to see one all rebuilt.

Thank you.
Underrated hatchback
Good for another 25 years 👍
I hope so.
I really wish I could watch this in real time. I have Charade 1989 G100 and I am obsessed about restoring.
Wow, and the result, if fantastic!
You could start a DIY car repair and restoration service, or classes, wit your skills.
Great work as result. Thanks for saving this. They were once a common sight on Irish roads not too long ago.
They’ve really disappeared from the roads now.
@@VantagePointVideoGarage theyre very very uncommon in the usa. I have one though

Thanks Mike. It’s been a while since I saw another Turbo Diesel up for sale alright. Best of luck with your projects.

Hello Sir, whats that liquid you used to polish the bumpers ? 11:10
Awesomesauce
Hopefully if covid is not a big threat, you should bring it to Knock Bridge this year.
It’d be great to take it to a few events this year.
Waoh amazing i have one like that one wish it could also be rebuild like that
wow thats insane, wish I knew how to do a fraction of this.
Nice, i wish i could do the same with mine, i have a daihatsu charade g102, 1.3 EFI

Dude work very fast 😂
If this also rebuild again also nice
Amazing work, but it definitely needs a good amount of polish to get that orange peel out!
my dad and i have 2 daihatsu charades 1.0 turbo petrols
Excellent work, I appreciate how much time went into this. I'm relatively new and didn't follow from the beinning - why did you decide to restore this particular car?
It was my wife’s first car and these are very interesting economic cars even by todays standards.
Hi dear friend r.mira front shoks instal in daihatsu chared G100 1987 model plz tell
Hola, esta bien la restauracion.
Pregunta?!
Cuanto es el rendimiento por galon de combustible diesel?!
3 en cuidad y 1 en ruta.
How long did it take to do this alone sir?
I feel rushed, lol. Pity didnt spray the bumper in the body colour, it was an optional upgrade when new.
I would love to see my charade 90 restored like this because it's a mess 😂
I am the same. Mine is 1991.
Вапще красавчики.
I love this car but never knew why did they put a diesel in it.
It was an era of austerity, much like now. It claimed the best mpg figures in the world.
it look so easy in time lapse lol
I know, that’s how I got into this project, after making a timelapse about my Kadett I thought this would be easy!!
@@VantagePointVideoGarage you did à great job thé car look New
