The rev counter doesn't work in mine either. Mine used to overheat. I replaced radiator, water pump, thermostat and then the head gasket. Now unless I am in traffic, it stays at i/6 up no matter what. Drove to the UK in July. Completed 731 miles in two days. Mine does about 40mpg.
Love to see that the charade’s being put to work again. Not many 1.0 diesel charade vids on the internet, always good to see another pop up.
I loved the Charade restoration series, great to see her out on a run. I bet she barely uses any diesel
