How is the glasses fog resistance compared to Msk3? Is the price premium of oakley worth it for people who wear glasses?. This a great review, just what I was looking for. Thank you
Hello and thanks for watching. The Oakley MSK3 is better at fog prevention, but is dependent each individual's nose shape. However, the UA Sportsmask Featherweight can be really good and better than the Oakley MSK3 at fog prevention, if you replace the weak nose bridge wire with a stronger metal nose bridge piece from a surgical mask. You can do this once the weak nose bridge wire eventually breaks, at which point you simply make a small incision on the inside mask where the end of the noise bridge wire is, and then slide it out to remove it, and then replace with a stronger metal nose bridge piece from a surgical mask.
As usual many thanks and appreciations for the amazing video. any idea when the 3m 9211+ will be available as on grainger it will not be available before Jul, 2022
Thank you for watching! The 3M 9211+ seems to be available at www.rshughes.com/p/3M-Aura-9211-Standard-N95-Flat-Fold-Disposable-Respirator-887719-99716/887719_99716/ . You may want to call one of their stores if there is one local to you, to see if they have any in stock. Another place to watch out for is Industrial Safety Products. They were one of the first to get the 3M 9210+ valveless version back in stock as shown here www.industrialsafetyproducts.com/3m-9210-aura-n95-particulate-respirator-niosh-approved/ Hope this helps!
Thanks for watching and good question! Based on the 3 layer diagram of both the original Sportsmask and new Sportsmask Featherweight, the middle and inner layers are the same and the outer layer is different. The outer layer for the old Sportsmask may be thicker but don't forget that the older version is not completely 3 layers covering the face, where the fabric along the top is only 1 layer of iso chill material. This not only means it's not CDC/WHO compliant as a 3 layer Source Control mask, but also causes fogging of eye wear since breathing easily passes through this 1 layer at the top and on to your eyewear. Whereas the new Sportsmask Featherweight is 3 layers all around, and therefore is CDC/WHO compliant Source Control mask.
I don’t like the fact that the UA Sportsmask Featherweight isn’t available in black… it looks good in navy but i like black more, any other recommendations that looks as good?
Looks like the black ones all sold out on the US website. I would suggest calling your local Under Armour retail store to see if they have any black masks available in your size.
For health care settings, especially for procedures/surgeries where fluid resistance is needed against potential blood splatter, the 3M Aura 1870+ would be the best and only Aura mask that has fluid resistance. For best in comfort and breathability, the 3M Aura 9211+ would be the best because of exhalation valve, and same braided comfort straps as used in the 3M Aura 9210+. For best value, the 3M Aura 9210+, which is same price on industrialsafetyproducts.com as the 3M Aura 9205+, but come with the better braided comfort strap, instead of the cheap elastic band strap.
Thank you, this was definitely one of the better and more detailed reviews.
Thanks for fantastic review.
Have you tried the new adidas Molded Face Cover? I wonder how it compares to Under Armour Featherweight.

Is the nose clip stronger in this one ?
Yes, the nose ring is stronger than the original.
@@weekendgearguide awesome I just ordered mine 2 for 25 deal plus 15% discount I just paid 23 dollars
Great review! Do you think the layers are just overall thinner and thus making the featherweight less effective against Covid? That's my only concern.
Thanks for watching and good question!

Is it hot under the mask tho
Hello and thanks for watching. It's warm but not hot. Good in cool to colder weather, but still managable while in indoors in the gym.
