Glad you are back Jennifer. For those of us of a certain age, this is really reminiscent of Peter, Paul and Mary (the folk group, not the Apostles...I'm not THAT old. It is refereshing to have singing that is not vocal aerobatics and glass shattering notes. Once in a while, a chill pill is warranted.
Oh yes! Now that you mention it I can see the Peter, Paul, and Mary reference.
I hope you will check out the H&F collaboration with Jeffrey East for Return to Pooh Corner (it has their older son in it). Jeffrey has collaborated with Home Free a few times and is an excellent writer. Both this video and the one with Jeffrey were filmed while in Oregon for a the 2023 Oregon Getaway.
Everything they did with Chance too.
I enjoyed your warm, calm face as you listened. Loved seeing baby Cypress in this video. ❤🤗
Hi Jennifer hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
it always amazes me how Tim can so well with anyone he sings with. I suppose its because of his large vocal range. great song, great reaction as always. you always put a smile on my face, thank you.
That was so beautifully sung! Love when The Hound & Fox do collaborations with Home Free members especially with Tim Foust. He has such a soothing bass voice & really blends well with them. Am loving all the songs from their new album.
Thank you for a beautiful reaction, I love the Hound and the Fox, and when they sing with Tim it always sounds wonderful.
Soooo pretty!! F and H and Tim sound incredible
Love your Voice.
Kenny Loggins covered this song also but it was titled “All the Pretty Little Ponies”.
Beautiful!
When thinking of lullabies, Tim Foust isn't the first voice that comes to mind. BUT.... this song and the first verse of the Home Free cover of To the Moon and Back show that to be an error. I could listen to him sing lullabies all day - or until I fell asleep, whichever came first. On his Patreon he also has a song that he wrote for his new niece, which is quite nice. Adam Chance's cover of Puff the Magic Dragon with H+F is also great, although there is no video yet. And House at Pooh Corner with Jeffrey East is also great.
Such a beautiful lullaby. Thank you Jen..
I call those close harmonies mixed major to minor resolutions that are very "tasty".
I was hoping you would react to this song loved your reaction.
Beautiful performance and the whole album is gorgeous.
Jennifer! Wow this one is hauntingly beautiful. Haunting because it's in a minor key, perhaps a bit unusual for a lullaby. Also that 1-2-3, 1-2-3, measure comes through strongly through the song. You mentioned The Hound + The Fox having trioed up with others ... did they not do a song with Adam Chance? I seem to remember a culvert and them singing inside that. Anyway you got a touch of low note practice in! Always a good thing. 😁 Awesome reaction and analysis as always Jennifer. 😊
So beautiful. Such a lovely song and so well done. Love it! Thanks Jen!😍🥰
This has such a gentle, tender, and ethereal sound. I felt my entire body relax and my mind be calm while listening to this! Great reaction as always! ❤
Don’t know if you’ve reacted to it but they collaborated with Tim and his wife Jenika on a song called The Good Stuff a couple of years ago
Great reaction to this beautiful song. The 3 of them together is magic & it gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. Hush-a-Bye is so relaxing & it even makes me relax after a long day. All the songs on Star Songs are amazing. Their Moon Songs cd released in 2017 is also very soothing!
Beautiful track, great reaction 😊
Made ME sleepy 😴 Lovely musical portrait.
I just got done listening to the most beautiful love song, by the artist Dionne Warwick. The song is called 'I Know I'll Never Fall In Love Again'. Dionne's voice is so powerful, and you feel the words. Try it, you'll love it.
I saw your new video single and you sound wonderful.
Beautiful ❤ . Wonderful reaction
Isn't that lovely? Of course, we are used to H&F sounding lovely in all their styles, but the addition of Tim here adds a deepness that just makes you feel settled. As opposed to the addition of Jeffrey East on Return to Pooh Corners, which adds a bit of a lilt or sweetness.
They didn’t have “a bass”, they had Tim Foust!
Verrrryyy true!
Tim is dark chocolate. Reilly is milk chocolate. McKenzie is butterscotch or caramel.
Another wonderful reaction!!! ❤ What was it like meeting Tim and Home Free?
