I had the V and now the VI and i can say for sure that I also felt the need of a wider focal lens especially while traveling. I bought the wcl 18mm adapter and I feel that it compliments this camer so well 🙌🏻
Could you comment on the autofocus - do you use single or continuous more often for everyday shots, what “area” type (point / zone / wide), af-c custom settings, and overall if it’s good or just sufficient?
I use mine in AFC + tracking with eye detection on and subject detection off. It works perfectly! High hit rate. I am impressed with the autofocus used that way. I especially like that eye detection prioritizes where you put the focus box, so it's not jumping around the frame, and tracking is quite sticky. Is not a sony a9, but is not bad.
Love the video!! I will add the teleconverter feature is available in older models as well (Ive used it on my x100v/f and x70) but the higher resolution makes a bigger difference in it now :)
I think that they’re all really great cameras, without knowing exactly what you wanna shoot, budget, etc it’s tricky to give you a catered recommendation
@davey_gravy mostly portraits & cinematic style video overall budget can go till 1000 dollars Xm5 & zv e10 ii cost 900 dollars body only Zv e10 will cost 590 dollars rest will invest in lens For fuji I'll get meikie 55mm & for sony 50mm oss
Hey! From a bunch of places. Some from stores I visit on my travels, or from local stores in Calgary. The one is this video is from a store called Aime Leon Dore
ive been wanting a fuji for a very long time now. but seeing the price i decided to go for affordable sony a6400. then i bought lenses, accessories, nd filters etc. and it reached $2000 in total. now i realized, i couldve just bought the x1006 and be done with it. i shouldve listened to myself when i wanted it.
I had the X100V and lost it / it may have gotten stolen. To replace it, because I didn't want to pay AGAIN for an overpriced camera I went with the Fuji XT30 Mark 2 and it feels exactly the same as the X100V, but with interchangeable lenses and possibly more options in that way then the 35mm lens option only. FujiFilm has lots of options for all types of creators if they can break out of the hype of just these two cameras.
@ I got it used on marketplace for $1000 (Canadian) and it’s still very small. The difference in size is really just the eye piece but it’s still quite small!
Every time I see a video for a camera I want to add it to my cart even though I don't necessarily need one at the moment.
You should consider the iPhone 16 Pro. I hear it has a bunch of lenses, photo and video, and it also takes calls
@ I’ve heard great things and know a guy that uses it almost exclusively these days
Just add it. You'll end up making the decision in about 6 months when your turn on the backorder line is up lol
You could crop in on the x100v just don’t have the added benefit of higher resolution
Great to know! I missed that feature
What filter do you have on the camera? It’s a cool look
Thanks! It’s the Polar Pro SHORTSTACHE filter, it lives on my camera

That’s great to know! I’ve been contemplating getting the adapter
I haven't played around with the 100VI but the X100 series cameras are incredibly fun to use!
The X100s are so awesome, everybody needs to take them for a spin at least once

Only issue i have is that the iso wheel moves freely when you lifted up to change iso.
The autofocus has been amazing for me. I haven’t shot a ton of movement, but so far so good. I shoot with Wide Focus and have been very happy

Thanks for watching! I appreciate you!
What do you think about xm5 vs zv e10 ii or og zv e10 as my first video camera ?

How lovely. I was in Bar Duomo in September and took a crazy bus ride to the duomo from the funicolare. Anyway, that camera piques my interest.
That sounds so fun!!!
Where do you buy the caps you wear?
Hey! From a bunch of places. Some from stores I visit on my travels, or from local stores in Calgary. The one is this video is from a store called Aime Leon Dore
I’m considering it for a secondary camera for weddings, set it in BW for those shots, use my Sony r5 for main stuff in colour
That’s a great idea, and I think this camera would be handy for this
Do you usually shoot in AUTO mode?
What film recipe do you usually use on the X100VI?
I usually shoot in Aperture Priority. I like Tri-X and Porta
What thumbgrip are you using with the X100VI???
A cheap one from Amazon… I don’t even know the brand, sorry!
Spilling the gravy is DIABOLICAL 😂
Merry Christmas!!!!
I'm so curious what it's like to shoot on one of these. Maybe I'll need to chat to TCS. Great video
You need to try it!

Haha, that’s amazing! I still think you got a solid camera, but lesson learned
I agree 35mm on x100 feels a bit tighter
I thought it was just me feeling that, I’m sure it’d be pretty easy to test
what does tighter mean in cameras, sorry newbie here
@@vonneo7079 it means the image looks like is more "zoomed in" or not as wide of a shot
What filter are ya using there?
This it the Polar Pro SHORTSTACHE Filter, it’s a Polarizer and Bloom

More people should be buying the other Fujis! They are so awesome and overshadowed by the X100’s
Is the XT30ii noticeably taller than the 100VI? Also, how much did you get the XT30ii for??
@ I got it used on marketplace for $1000 (Canadian) and it’s still very small. The difference in size is really just the eye piece but it’s still quite small!
What is your film recipe? 😍🔥
It changes photo to photo, I find them on Fuji X Weekly
I had x100v
Do you like it? Did you sell it?
Gimme your fave recipes!
Should I make a video about them?
@@davey_gravy heck yah
It’s not a true 35 mm. It’s a 23 mm but because it’s an aps-c body, it’s close to 35mm.
