The girl that comes in at the 20-minute mark has some sweet moves. Here are a few that I've documented: 20:30 "It really smells back there" 26:20 "Hey Daniel #1" 28:03 "Modern Robot" 33:55 "Ugh, fuck you" 34:17 "Get a room you two, eyeroll" 47:04 "Ballroom dancing at the rave" 49:15 "Priest blessing his followers with holy water" 54:40 "Patting a small child on the head" 55:50 "Hey Daniel #2"/"Oh, nevermind" 1:07:25 "Dusting the mantle" 1:15:20 "The Chicken Dance" 1:21:06 "Spirit Fingers"
What happened to the original Drone Logic Boiler Room Set it was shorter like 30 or 40 minutes and from 2013 its disappeared, why was that removed from UA-cam, that is also a great set.
+j jarry I don't get it, Jon Hopkins Boiler Room set is still there but most of Immunity is in his set, Avery's first boiler room set is a good representation of his live set whilst the one above represents his DJing, would the so called copyrighted set not help shift sales of his Drone Logic CD, it doesn't make sense.
I remember a time when the only people crowding to see a dj at work were the nerds (like me) hoping to see what record was being played or see how they did a certain trick. Think Richie Hawtin at sankeys in Manchester was the first time I saw anything like the “cult” of a dj being in the building - that was around 13-15yrs ago
playing devil's advocate dude, perhaps that was just the way she expressed herself to the music? everything we do in public could be interpreted as 'attention seeking' but perhaps we are projecting motivations onto people which may or may not be true
His style is pretty damn unique but if you like the songs he is mixing then I would recommend the following: -Lewis Fautzi -SHDW & Obscure Shape -Function -Etapp Kyle -Luigi Tozzi
Christian do you mix ? I hope so because your playlist is so nice. i'm playing bagpipe, my son violon, my girl clarinet and my wife mix. Thank you to share music, i'm please to hear you soon
+Hughesflow27 very very very gradual, and yeah i get you. I wouldn't go to a clubnight/gig and listen to this i dont think it would bode well with the atmosphere, but then again i wouldn't know maybe you need shit loads of coke haha
+Northern Darkness I went to see him before and loved it but yes it was a drug house. you should give his album a listen if you haven't already, I think it's a little more melodic compared to what he plays here.
+Northern Darkness Honestly i have no idea. This is genuinely one of the most mesmerising and powerful sets I've heard for a while. I cant tell you what makes it so incredible, it just seems a lot more powerful yet more delicate than more upbeat genres. Its definitely a niche, most people look for a heavy bass line in order to derive pleasure from music but this techno is for a much more refined palette. I keep this kind of music exclusively to my headphones.
+Simon Jenkins Refined as is so much more depth to it. I was mainly raving in Ireland, there was a small but great scene there. I agree the spirit was better (*cough and the biscuits) and there was some great great music but as the technology was not as good it was a bit rough around the edges and harsh. But everybody to their tastes. Would love to be proved wrong though, if you have any links to what you think is better then please post.
+lsdinc Probably had a lot to do with biscuits ;) I was going to see the Chemical Bros from very early on, Fatboy Slims club down in Brighton, Groove Armada, Timo Maas, Prodigy, Lemon Jelly, Mr Scruff that kind of thing. All very well known now. Too old for clubs now at 48, if you have something new that I might like from what I have mentioned here then let me know please.
+Simon Jenkins I hear ya, I'm 42 and not clubbing that much, maybe once or twice a year. Yeah, am aware of all those you mentioned and they were great. Saw Fatboy in Brighton once but was only few years ago so was huge and commercial. But saw him in XOYO in London, small club. Man he still has it going on, best thing i have seen in looooong time. Hope you can still bust a move, never let that die ;)

I believe the copyright issues were with Fabric, not DA or Drone Logic.
London had always a beatifull crowd hahaha

Anyone got a tracklist? This set is mean as fuck.
Daniel is a beast but that attention seeker ruined the video with her ''magical'' dance moves...
playing devil's advocate dude, perhaps that was just the way she expressed herself to the music? everything we do in public could be interpreted as 'attention seeking' but perhaps we are projecting motivations onto people which may or may not be true
nah, your right, shes looking at the camera too much to be really 'entranced'!
now i'm doin it! Harummph!
Acrozx I know right. How dare she dance at a club

The crowd....ugh
Poche fighe dietro Daniele eh
Sorry what do people see in this music, i don't understand it doesnt get heavier or more mellow it just stay the same its mind numbing
Numbing would be a way of describing it but it's very gradual and hypnotic I think.
+Hughesflow27 very very very gradual, and yeah i get you. I wouldn't go to a clubnight/gig and listen to this i dont think it would bode well with the atmosphere, but then again i wouldn't know maybe you need shit loads of coke haha

So much better in the 90's, this looks so stiff!
+Simon Jenkins ha, I was a raver of the late 90's. It was free'r then but the music was harsh, so much more refined these days
+lsdinc Refined as in souless? Depends where you were raving because in London it was kicking and the spirit was excellent in the people.
+Simon Jenkins Refined as is so much more depth to it. I was mainly raving in Ireland, there was a small but great scene there. I agree the spirit was better (*cough and the biscuits) and there was some great great music but as the technology was not as good it was a bit rough around the edges and harsh. daniel avery-rag the blonde bird to the left of you.
Daniel Avery has produced some great tracks but this set is really boring. The girls lifeless dancing says it all
Great set Daniel!
