The "old guy" people are commenting about, he's a regular in NYC techno clubs, you can find him on Danny Tenaglia show too on youtube, lol. He's not that old, he's not more than 55. So to a guy in his early 40s and knowing how long the really good club Techno has been around in a mecca scene city like NYC, its not odd for his age to be there, But maybe a good example to the younger generation about if you're gonna drop candy and drink alcohol regularly, especially alcohol, then you might mix in some exercise and nutrition along the way, or you can count on people calling you "old man/lady in front row" someday too. :-) the good news is you know that you dont lose the desire to bust a move as you get older obviously haha
Ha. That "old guy" is probably not much older than me! I'm 45 but feel no different than when I was raving in my 20's! :) Rave on, fellow 90's raver, RAVE ON!!!!

I love this old school techno. Her style gives me goosebumps….. hardcore from beginning to the end. 38 years old and definitely going to see her when she is back in the United States 🔥 🙌🏻🔥
I've seen her for the first time at Tomorrowland 2011 (Belgium), when she won a contest earlier and she could play her set at the Main Stage. :) She was still known as 'Raving George' back then. ;)

wonderful , huge athmosphere ... beyond magnificent, charlotte, I love you so much, the set up is a different beauty, the mix is magnificent, people get lost in the magic of the night, it's like my soul is airborne and the talisman touches all my cells, I love your clip
I read almost more comments about the older fan than about charlotte herself. What are you wondering about? Techno started in the mid 80's, 35 years ago! I was enthusiastic from the beginning and still am today ... at that time i was 23, so do the math. I can understand the older fan very well. If i had been there, i would have freaked out just as much. No wonder, because Charlotte uses many songs and samples from the past and her style is the same as back then, but beautifully transferred to today. Really great! Keep it up Charlotte ;-*
The earlier one and one of those live sets I love. I can feel your temperament here. Well done Charlotte D.W. because I'm in a positive mess again. 💪💪💪🦵🦵🦵😎😈😇😘💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
Techno was invented in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) about 45 years ago. The man in the foreground definitely belongs to this generation that still carries the spirit of techno and shows the younger generaion how it's done. Super great! The Charlotte carries this spirit into the next and overnight generation. The girl has a feeling for the spirit of techno and carries the spirit from Frankfurt am Main back then into the world for future generations. Thanks! Greeting Frank
There were influences all around, but most would agree Detroit is the birthplace of the sound. Then again early Detroit tracks sound so much different than this flavor of techno and were heavily influenced by Kraftwerk. Charlotte de Witts flavor of Techno is heavily influenced by the German scene for sure.
All the comments about grandad in the front ! - im 62 and still giving it large when a get a chance and can still out dance and out party most of the young guns ------ chemically enhanced of course !!!!

I love watching Charlotte de witte get into her music it never gets old is like she’s possessed by it 😍😍😍😍
❤💣❤
wonderful , huge athmosphere ... beyond magnificent, charlotte, I love you so much, the set up is a different beauty, the mix is magnificent, people get lost in the magic of the night, it's like my soul is airborne and the talisman touches all my cells, I love your clip
Keep it up Charlotte ;-*
no need to back him up. we all know that feeling, he is just a stellar human being
I ain't even got to scroll down to see who everyone is backing in the comments. For real bro, he's holding it tf down.
Charlotte De Witte on the Wheels of Steel!!! Epic Sound!!! KUTGW!!! 4-Everlasting Baaaase!!! G.R...
The 50's up front is going really well, techno keeps young

I think I just found my favorite new DJ of 2020, yes that old man was raving back in the day just like me in 1999!!!
Hats off old boy ... definitely have a dance ! Into the music more than any othet sole in there ..... respect ..TECHNO
Grandpa is in Heaven
i love the Music i love HIM - > RESPECT
Fella at the front is my spirit animal. He’s probably the same age as most of the legends of the scene like Sven Väth, Carl Cox and Richie Hawtin.
We have the pleasure of Charlotte and Richie in London next week, and Papa Sven next month - can’t wait!
Purest ,finest techno at it's best...You can see where the influence of her style came from...👌👊
Loving this. Big respect to the old skool raver at the front. If you love it, you love it, fella!
The old guy dancing on her left is non other than Technovikings' father!
Thanks!
Greeting Frank
honest truth👏
Techno is from Detroit.
Hallo,
no, Techno ist from Germany... Frankfurt/Main 😜😜🍺🍺🍺🍺
Greetings Frank
There were influences all around, but most would agree Detroit is the birthplace of the sound. Then again early Detroit tracks sound so much different than this flavor of techno and were heavily influenced by Kraftwerk. Charlotte de Witts flavor of Techno is heavily influenced by the German scene for sure.
THE OLDER GUY has probably been on the scene from the start respect to the guy living the dream 😎😎👍👍
Love, love , love this set Charlotte! Stellar!!!

You are as young as you feel some days 20 -30 some days 30 - 50 still young. Just a different time ... Take your days as they feel. And feel your days as they take you...you are what you are and what you feel at that time in time enjoy... Adiós xx
