I like the hawbill, but I'd like it more if were larger (3 1/2-4 inch handle).
The Hawkbill just arrived and I like it!! WMK notified me and at the time, they did not have the Sheepsfoot. The pull is a bit weak but it is what it is. I will get other models as they come in. This knife is really well made and I would love to see it in a larger size. Thanks for the introduction.
Glad you got one. The pull is a little soft but it's not a big deal. I'd love a bigger model also!

I agree. The smaller Hawkbill wouldn't take up much room in the pocket. Begg Knives used to make some pretty high end stuff and just last summer started making some budget folders... All D2 steel though. Those knives were manufactured by Bestech, but I can't say for sure that these slips are.
@@mightyMC_edcBestech has never made knives for Begg Knives. Begg started there own offshore OEM for manufacturing the new products that are coming to market. The Slipjoint are all 14c28n 🎉

Is this brand associated to Todd Begg the custom knife maker?
So there is a weird story that I've heard but can't vouch for. It's been said that You'd sold a part or all of the business to his brother. That brother is supposed to be the one driving the budget side of Begg Knives. This could just be a rumor also but it is the same Begg family.
