Manhattan Edit Workshop Instructor Ari Feldman shows how save your own effects presets in the latest version of Apple's Final Cut Pro X.
Manhattan Edit Workshop is a New York Film School offering a full range of basic to advanced training courses, from the Avid, Autodesk, Assimilate, Blackmagic and Apple products to the complete suite of Adobe applications.
Manhattan Edit Workshop's mission is to provide the highest quality education for filmmakers and editors. Focusing on both the art and technology inherent to our craft. We foster a "learn by doing" approach in an atmosphere where mistakes are encouraged as part of the process and the only "silly" question is the one that isn't asked.
Ari Feldman is a certified Adobe Premiere Pro & Apple Final Cut Pro instructor. He is originally from South Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Miami where he double majored in motion pictures and theatre arts. Ari is also a graduate of Manhattan Edit Workshop's Six Week Intensive workshop.
Since relocating to New York several years ago, he has been the editor and assistant editor of independent films, documentaries, television shows, and corporate videos. He was the assistant editor of the film, Wedding Bros., and has edited for Lifetime and the Princess Grace Foundation.
Most recently Ari edited the documentary "Shelter Island" and is currently editing his second feature-length documentary.

Great. But I have a lot of repeating graphics mostly Jpegs or PNG files that I incorporate into many projects. How can I incorporate them into the library as generators or some other way so I don't have to get those assets every time from an asset folder outside FCPx? Thank you in advance for your answer! :)

Make sure you have the clip selected in the timeline before you click on the File menu. You can also do his in the inspector. Select the clip, open the inspector, select the button on the top that says Video, then click on the button on the bottom of the inspector that called Save Preset.
