WOW that explanation of hue vs hue, hue vs sat was life changing! I never used that because I just didn’t know and now I finally know how to change the color of just one area easily using that eye dropper!! This will help soooo many of my frustrations I’ve had with color grading up to now. Thank you!!! Can’t wait for part 2

Really good video man, I learned a lot! I've been putting off learning colourgrading for a while now 1. because I didn't think I was going to be good enough 2. I thought it would be tediously long and 3. It's always 20+ min videos with the risk that you may not learn anything. But this has been super super helpful and I've learned loads!

I'm new and still on baby steps😂
So I have no idea what you are talking about but I know it will help me once I graduate!😂
For now I'm just worried about content and using my phone.
I do add a little bit of brightness when the video is dark but that's just about it.
Thank you so much for this, it sounds too good.
Something I will grow in definitely.
Good luck to all us new UA-camrs in the house!
Thank you "think media", you always have our best interests at heart.🙏🏽💕

PROBLEM: Looked all over for the FOLLOW-UP on advanced coloring--as advertised at end of video? Couldn't find it anywhere. Search engine on YOUR site... and on and on. Did you do one? Under another name? THAT was the one really needed. Does it exist and how can we access it?

Thanks. Great video. But unfortunately those of us who are colour blind just can’t begin to mess with colour grading! Seriously, green skin tinges would be a very real possibility. Any thoughts or tips on managing this? It is likely to be something that affects a lot of your viewers. I have really struggled with lighting and correction for this reason.

This is such a great video. To the layperson the colour controls, wheels, boards etc are so basic, to the point where I wonder why I bother. Your simple explainer is great.
My issue is that I have a junior dance concert in a terrible auditorium. The camera (R6 + 70-200 f2.8 Mk III) struggled to cope, and there is quite a bit of noise in the dark regions - I was a bit too shy with aperture, wanting to maximise focus across the stage.
What is the best way to combat this? I know I can't completely eradicate the noise and I'm ok with that, but I want to minimise it - even though the viewers will be watching the dancers who are in the light sections.

WOW! A lot of good information crammed into this tutorial! Thank you. I'm slowly learning color correction, but my main issue is scenes where the camera is moving around. If I apply corrections to the entire clip, then there are places that those settings just aren't appropriate. So I guess the only option is to slice up the clip into separate scenes, then adjust each one? That's a lot of work!
