My non-gaming wife walked in while this was playing and said: "That looks delicious! I'd play that game!" ...(Taking out wallet now. Logging onto Cool Stuff)...
The chances, aside from the all-white color scheme, seem quite cool. That being said, how does the downtime of the slicing compare between PoC and NYS?
I am confused you pick a section of pizza eat it or save it then what just keep it in front of you? Are you scoring for who has the most of a type or just adding all the points of the slices? Are you going one by one thru the stacks of pizzas and collecting a stack of slices?
I know this is thematic, but that box.. i would have to move it to some other container to keep it mobile.. I also preferred the look of pies/cakes variant. More striking. But pizzas are ok. Specials add more options for the slicer.
There is another game review channel I like called "Dad vs Daughter". They review games that can be played by only 2 players and they just unboxed this game and will review it soon. I am anxious to see them try it with just 2 to see how it plays.
You know nothing. Chicago is much better - this even from someone who has lived many years in NYC. Best thing going for NY style is it's functional - foldable for walking and eating. But I prefer to sit down and enjoy my meal.
I like variety in my pizza, just as I do with my games. Sometimes, I'll go for Chicago deep dish, other times, less is more and NY style is called for. Of course, living in Berlin, I have become quite fond of Italian-style pizzas. Eccellente! BTW Tom, my original prototype for the pie version DID include Key Lime pie:-)
I'll take Chicago style pizza over any other type as well. Granted I live here on the Gulf Coast so it's hard to find at times. Luckily Giordano's Pizza, in Chicago, ships pizza across country.
I actually prefer my NY Style Pizza to have very thin crust. There is a place near me who make it like that in a brick oven and it can't be beat. :-) Love it!
Because of this video, I have:
1. Ordered New York Slice
2. Ordered a pizza.
Tom, you even look dressed to deliver Pizza! ;)
Just picked this up to play. Great review tom!
I like Tom even more now that he's come down on the New York side. Although I have to admit I've never been to Chicago.
I’ve been. They can keep their pizza soup. A thin, crispy slice is where it’s at

Seems like a great gift for the people in your life who you are trying to convince that there is more to gaming than Monopoly.
I really want some pizza now.

All I know is I've eaten way too many pizzas that taste like cardboard. The "I split, you choose" looks like a fun mechanic though.
Sorry Chicago?
I thought NY state having the best pizza was a universally accepted fact.
only if youre a communist and hate america.
What if you run out of those checks ?
Make copies lol
How well does this game play 2 player?
Looks like a kingmaking-heavy game.
Great, now I want this game... :P
anchovy bias.
I know! I love anchovies!
You liking them is subjective. Anchovies being disgusting is an objective fact.
Anchoviphobes! String 'em up! :P
Is this really working as a 2 player game?
I doubt it works too well.

That's dumb, if I have pizza I'm eating it right now.
Neopolitan Pizza ALL DAY EVERY DAY

You guys are both wrong. New Haven style pizza is the best! ( I may be biased since I live next to New Haven)

Sorry Tom, New York pizza doesn't come close to how good Chicago style pizza is!
You can keep that wack loaf of bread you guys call pizza. It doesn't hold a candle to a NY slice!
IMMEDIATE thumbs down. unsubscribed. indignations about.NOTHING beats chicago style pizza. nothing.
