Great review zee. Captures the essence of the game really well. I backed this on kickstarter and can see it being an ever present in my collection. However I don't think I am likely to play it much until my kids are old enough to start learning maths logic... Whenever I have played this with my group we found it just a bit too easy to beat on anything but the hardest difficulty setting... And the difficulty settings don't actually make the mechanics of the game any harder... Just punish you more for any mistake. I think it is well worth the recommendation though and hopefully this one will stop flying under the radar and get more of the recognition it deserves for being beautiful, interesting and unique.
Loved most of the review, except that I can't tell what would happen when my turn came again, say that the 5 wasn't discarded, I grab a new tile, should I still hide my 3 so the others keep guessing that? Or can I use the 3 so they guess the new one? And how would they know which of those two I did.
Just saw this comment. You keep hiding the 3. You can play either the 3 or the new fate tile. Depending on what clues are out, you might be able to play the new tile to help your team figure out that your other tile is a 3. Figuring out how to give the right hints is part of the game, and I think that's what breaks people's brains. :D

Ive never played, but seems like it might suffer really badly from alpha gaming (when the answer is deduced, its not like you can ignore the alpha) and from what ive seen of playthroughts it looks like its fairly easy to beat if you put in the time to work out the options. Id be interested in any comments on those things, because Id love to be wrong on both fronts
I'm afraid that's true; our first print run was almost exhausted before this video went live and has now run out. We are planning a reprint+mini-expansion Kickstarter in January 2019.
If we ordered it while it said in stock (day this video was posted, before the video had 100 views), got a confirmation email, still have the money paid out via paypal, but have not heard anything from you all does that mean that it is still being fulfilled?
I just love it when I see a game that looks amazing … and then find out it's not available anywhere. :/
Apparently a Kickstarter for a 2nd Edition print run is happening in just a couple days (so, Jan 29). I'm definitely going to be funding that.
