  • If you get a "Perform Service" readout on your dash, Then you need to change the CCV Filter, followed by resetting your CCV Service Life Cycle for another 75K miles.

little update At 2022 and younger you don’t need to replace that 7 mil, you can lift Cap together with that piece. Thanks for the video

You have so many parts on that engine that need to fall off. :)

I would have taken compressed air. Then blow that dust and dirt off the parts. Always better to get it out of the way. Then falling into the engine.

The fact that this dude provided a video showing the process of changing the filter is already saving you time buddy. Be appreciative, and have a nice day!

Taking the back bolts off towards the firewall was a real PITA because of the plastic wire mold getting into the way of the ratchet. You won't be able to use a power ratchet as the bolts rise it will push the back of the ratchet up against hat plastic wire mold. If the reverse switch is one of those finger turn things like on the milwaukee, you're screwed because it will be jammed / wedged so tight it will be stuck. I think it's so retarded how RAM decided to attach the wire looms to those bolts, what a bunch of lazy engineers. I had to use some pliers to pull those looms off. That was the hardest part because you have to get up on your engine bay to get enough arm reach to pull that off.

All I did was use my impact with a swivel socket, not hard lol

@@raymencaldwell3854 I was using a Milwaukee impact wrench with a recessed forward/reverse shift nob directly above the socket. If I would have had a forward / reverse on the handle, it would have been ok. I do blame the tool because it did create a funky situation, it's a bad design that I won't fall for again.
