And, you are right. There is a huge difference between Kansas and Kansas State. Like North Carolina, and other basketball "bluebloods" their football programs have been pretty much invisible for the past 60 years.

They have a MUCH improved roster. No offense to Cam, TP, and others. NQT issue cost them the Dance.
3pt% is now 38% (vs 32%) and they have 2 solid PGs (vs none due to injury).
They are taller and bigs are more experienced.
It is interesting how those reviewing K-State for 24-25 do not understand the talent difference now vs last year.
It will age poorly for them. They clearly have no idea what Kansas state is about. Tang hasn’t lost to Baylor and has split with Ku and ISU. They clearly will compete with the upper half of the conference 🤦♂️
I think one of Jerome Tangs best abilities is to match his style of play with players. As long as Dug can keep his turnovers down plus I think Ugonna is going to come off the bench and Achor Achor will man the 5. Occasionally I think we will go big with Hawkins at the 3 and Achor at 4 and Ugonna at the 5. Sharpshooter Hausen should flourish with that firepower. This is a good problem to have imo.

Yeah, these guys have no idea about K-State's history. They dont realize this is a Top 20 team this year. They are also assuming everything about this roster and have no idea the context of these player and their roles to fit Jerome Tang's system. These guys couldn't be further from the truth with this team. These guys are so lost lol.

These guys have zero idea of what they're talking about. You act like K-State is not a good program. They were just in the elite 8 2 years ago. Last year they missed the NCAA tourney due to their best player getting removed from the team at the start of the season. For these guys to act like Illinois is superior to K-State as a program is laughable. Historically and recent success is extremely similar.
Tang was COY, too, and did not have any NBA guys on that roster (G-league * 2). In his 2nd year, he learned quickly their recruiting was not enough. This year, they focused on better skill and experience.
Cook these clowns!!
They can do a quick search search and see it has some pretty good tradition and is one of the top long term programs in the country. Compare the numbers to Illinois and all but the Bluebloods and get back to me on “Nice” program. Had to build football facilities for 20 years first. Look out for both teams cowboys!

Give Hawkins some credit! I’ll bet he had the K-State card in his pocket when he chose to leave the draft. Should be a good fit for Coleman and the Cats.
This Schade is appropriately named….an expert at throwing it. Keep in mind a top 10 coach at ksu, an elite 8 team 2 years ago, a big NIL deal and other ksu studs from the portal. What’s so hard to figure out?? Put him at the 3 and watch the opponent match up issues pile up!

Markquis Nowell was already at K-State when Tang arrived. He was the point guard there the previous season under Bruce Weber
Kid should of went to Kentucky, the school K-state knocked out of the tournament twice in the last few years.
KState beat ISU, KU and Baylor with a meh roster 🤷♂️.
6-11 is where they were last year with a meh roster. When Tang rebuilt, they were E8.
KState was 2nd with Kyeonte and Marques.
So it sounds like KSU has a good back court but the front court is too loaded? I know I always complain when I have too many beers in the fridge. At least they acknowledge how superior the Big 12 is by picking us 6-11 in league. Coleman Hawkins sour grapes?😂
