There are two crystals on the Arduino UNO. The one highlighted in the UA-cam cover photo is for the supporting USB chip. The Arduino's is the tiny, tiny crystal by pins 9 and 10. at 0:06, you can see the crystal below the word "ITALY".
@@arduinote can you do a simple program with IR remote & receiver and show the code? 🤔 Whatever is in your mind, but with IR remote & receiver included! 😊
Yes , by using X rays to change the atomic structure of the quartz crystal. Otherwise no, it's a fixed frequency determined by the thickness of the crystal.
@roncoots3800 wow. Crystals really are fascinating. I took an interest lately in laser optics and photonic. Barium Titanate caught my eye regarding phase conjugate mirrors. It mention changing the atomic structure with heat and light. It's mind blowing that it can be achieved at all. I mistakenly assumed that atomic structure was fixed and that was that. Hey thanks for replying and enriching me.
@@hoofheartedicemelted296 Atomic structure is very easy to change, if you hit it with the right frequency. The main problem is those frequencies are , very harmful!!
Sounds like some wizard stuff, harness the power of crystals to power a device more powerful then your own mind.

Oooo if you only knew the true power of your mind.

Very good and briefly explained! 👍
thanks :) what do you want me to do next?

This is nicely explained
thx for your support :)
what component should I do next?
@@arduinote Maybe the ATmega chip in itself I don’t really have any ideas I’m a beginner for Arduino
Simple and Crystal Clear
Can I use this clip for explaining in my UA-cam video?
Sure
Does this means that microprocessor used different type of oscillator to generate signal in Ghz
What is the specific part name of this crystal oscillator or this is just called a general 16 mhz crystal oscillator?
Is it possible to lower the frequency of the oscillator? Thank you.

Quartz *
What a bad video! Showing a crystal resonator, and saying crystal oscillator!
u stink
Useless
