What's it like being openly detrans & why I'm quitting.
8 years ago i have detransitionened after living as a transwoman for 3 years and after undergoing sex reassignment surgery (SRS) or gender reasignment surgery also known as the bottom surgery and experiencing awful, horrific complications as a result of that. Some people would refer to me as a detransitioner but i no longer identify with that term. During the last 1.5 a year i have made multiple videos on the subject of transition and detransition and am currently writing a book on this subject.
During this time of my detrans activism i provided content i hope felt meaningful and helpful to others. I appreciate the people i got to know such as Ritchie Herron, Shapeshifer and Buck Angel and am grateful for the support.
But the time has come to finally say this. I need to move on from making videos on the subject of detransition and transition. While i still wish to offer support to trans people and detransitioners, i don't want my life to revolve around this topic.
I am a changed man who's in a good place, i no longer feel any transition regret. I will go on to make two more interviews relating to the trans/detrans subject and finish and publish my book and then it's all in the past.
