I was with a girl for 7 years, married for 4 of them and I have to say I agree with what he is saying. Being divorced and not having to deal with the bs anymore is amazing. People ask me dont you wanna get back out there and find someone new and I'm like I've got a good life and I'm happy why the hell would I wanna mess that up. Lol.
I was already apprehensive about getting back with my ex before reading this... now I'm horrified lol. Maybe it's the sign I needed though. 😂
So you don't like sex anymore?
@@InteractiveIdea you don't have to date or get married to have sex.
@@jasonknotts5001 True. But one night stand or escorts sex is meh comparing to sex in relationship. You get to push beyond the regular stuff.
@@InteractiveIdea one night stand sex is the best in my opinion. Relationship sex gets boring and redundant.
Rodney Dangerfield said it best "Ya know why getting divorced costs so much? Because it's worth it"
💀🤣🤣

Louis ck SNL monologue is a good watch. I think hes got 2 but I'd start with the one where hes wearing a black t shirt
I second this.
The third person big daddy reactions are your best ones haha
I don't have any kids and have never been married, but when I attend events (i.e. concerts), the phone goes away. Life is short. Appreciate it while you can.
Totally agree with the dating thing. Once you start loving yourself as a person and not as part of a relationship, life is something else
Got out of a 7 year relationship and have my own apartment now. My life is awesome.
Marriage is like a child. It's 24/7 and sometimes takes a lot of work. It's as good as you make it, like life itself. But you can't measure the marriage you might have based on other people's successes and failures, because they are not you.
I've also been single for a few years and I feel the same. I'm now to the point that I'm more afraid of being with someone than being alone. You can find peace on your own...
"Louis CK Selfish" is probably my favorite video of his. But plenty more good ones to check out.
?????? .... you have cut this one short honey, there was a punch line to that last joke.
She's at peace being single and I'd never wanna impose on anyone's happiness but I'd love to take her on a friendly date, that sense of humor is refreshing and that laugh 😬☺️
Let's do it!! 😜 Haha I appreciate you
@@BigDaddyMoMo1 hope you like dog parks. My girls say they wanna come 😅 I appreciate you in this video! I'll be watching some more haha

I've been divorced for 6 years now, and I agree that it's better than marriage. The hard part for me was realizing that I had created my whole life around "what will attract the best mate", and now I'm learning that was getting in the way of my inner peace.
Exactly 🙏
Yeah...especially if “what will attract the best mate” involves breaking your back working too hard so you can forever charm her with more and more shiny things, pretending to be someone you’re not or not able to fully express yourself, and constantly having to tip-toe on eggshells around her 1,001 “pet peeves”. Oh, and sexually- you can only want it when she wants it, and when she does want it, you damn well better give it, whether you want it or not. (But when the tables are turned and you want it but she doesn’t, you might as well consider yourself a eunuch, cause you sure as hell ain’t getting none.)
Yeah, those things could definitely interfere with inner peace...
@@jarjthejargj6099 You get it. 👍
I thought the same thing about the covid stuff! Parents were losing their mind actually having to watch their kids 🤣
I actually WAS mad that the “dog days” of covid caused my kids to miss out on their education- false American history, chemistry and trigonometry that they’ll never use once in their lives, and cursive writing, which no one has used outside of schools for about 200 years. I actually do want my kids’ heads filled with those things...because I hate my kids.
Jk.. I don’t have kids.
i'll never understand people who constantly get into rebounds or stay in unfulfilling or abusive relationships. some people just crave drama i guess. i crave peace.
I love your takes on things. It's like I'm hearing myself think lol.
❤❤
09:00 "What else am I missing?"
You missed the last seconds of Loui's bit where one facebooker commented to the 1 second recording of his dancing kid (and didn't know about the 20 minutes of an opening and closing sphincter): "I see a future STAR!"
I lost 52% of my income & gave ALL my 401k to my ex-wife to avoid paying alimony....and I wouldn't change a thing! It's been rough but it's WONDERFUL to be divorced & we're better friends NOW & better parents than we were together. Gosh I LOVE being divorced!!!
Oh if you've never said "f@ck them kids" you're not a real parent 😆
You wouldn't change a thing? If you could go back and never get married wouldn't you?
Comedy is such a much needed art in modern times. What comedians make "Funny" to idiots is actually the truth touched up to seem like a joke but the more time goes on, the less creativity is needed in getting said material because life is already a fucking joke to begin with these days. People just pretend not to see it.
I’ve never been married, no kids, and got out of a long term relationship 3 years ago. I agree, it’s the greatest!!!!!
Louis CK is the shit!!!!!! He and Bill Burr are my favorite….. first time watching your reaction on a comedian…. Love your laughter!!!! It’s great for the soul….. hoping to check out more reactions from you…. Have a great night.. peace ✌️ out!!!!!
i think the stats are the way they are cause its so much pressure to get married, they get married in their twenties.
That was great but the last 30 seconds are hilarious
She’s back 🔥
It was about paying for daycare. It cost parents thousands of dollars.
Dude sure is one of the best to ever do it.
I no longer understand the pressure of needing a significant other.
If you have a good imagination your dominant hand is any woman/man you want it to be.
Not a parent, but I am living with my nephews for a short term, and while I love them to death, I realized how unready I'm in possibly becoming a parent at this stage (27). It truly is a job of patience. No lie though, after a couple of hours babysitting them, it feels like an absolute relief to go back to the peace and quiet of my choices, and not an endless tirade of questions! I don't think I have grown the patience levels to do this 24/7.
You'll go through anything for your own, but other peoples? No no no... not even your nephews. I love my own but can't stand anyone elses lol
@@dd7aa Ive been around them from since they were babies, to what they are now. One of them, I've known and been around almost 24/7 (because of covid quarantine) from a baby to now. So they're my people, haha. Feels like my own. But then of course I come from a very collectivist culture.
🤣🤣🤣
Actually, oddly enough, divorce rates are down, because marriages are down. 😎
Never married either I'm 40 years old it's a phone time partying everyday
you didnt finish the video😭
Thank you! Live your life!
I think she skipped the ending because she doesn't know what Facebook is
I have a son and what Louis CK said is true, you just don’t say it.
Your mic is Way to loud compared to the clip, you need to balance it so we dont blow out our speakers. Otherwise great videos 👍😁
My life became AMAZING after I got divorced. It sucks when it happens and as you’re going through it, but once its all over.......champagne! Its a life lesson. You learn that your standards for the person who is going to be next to you, FOREVER.....need to be really fucking high.
Oh yeah, and its REALLY expensive to get divorced. Literally cost me every dollar I saved for a decade (six figures), an entire house, a car, and about $80,000 cash. And it was STILL worth it.
What's hilarious is that when I was in my early 20s I was *Obsessed* with finding "The One", My "Soul Mate", the one I thought I'd spend the rest of my life with. Spent the longest 6 months together with the wrong person in my early 30s, and once we were broken up I vowed to stay single for the rest of my life. Forget getting married, just the thought of even dating another person again makes me smile gleefully and contently at the thought of dying alone. Besides, what is the draw of getting together with a significant other when if you think about it, the relationship is doomed from the start, it ultimately ends in 1 of 3 ways: Breakup, Divorce, or Death. And really, why put yourself through any of that? It's just unnecessary heartbreak 😂 Just saying.
Or it just means you have no ability to hold a sensible, working relationship. It has to come from two people. If you've done everything about it that you can then fair enough. But then why not try another girl? Theres billions of people on the planet.
If being alone is your happy place then forget me mentioning all this. But man, love can be such a lifeforce. Going on without it may make sense to you sometimes, but its a big void to fill. If you want anything in life, then finetune your life in that direction. The reason things may not be working out is because what you're doing points you in the wrong direction.
@@TheLineCutter Again, the relationship is doomed from the start, it ultimately ends in 1 of 3 ways: Breakup, Divorce, or Death. So honestly what's the point? None of it is meant to last. Companionship is fine but even then I live with the knowledge that someday it may end in some way, so I'm not gonna hold on to it too tightly. It's hard enough losing family. I don't need to get all broken up over some stranger that turned into nothing but a fleeting "romance" - Whatever that is.
@@philthemovieguy81 everything in life ends in death so that’s a ridiculous argument to not be with somebody.
@@FreekFreeksma Yes I'm fully aware everything in life ends in death. But what I'm saying is, as far as relationships go, it will end. And it *rarely* if ever, ends well. Unless it's a shitty relationship, in which case having it end will probably be a relief. But really? Have a good thing only for it to end? And then what, my only 3 options for it to end is by break up before marriage, divorce during marriage or be together until one of us dies?? All that does is set us up to at one point feel shitty and depressed. I don't need another person to do that for me when I am more than capable of doing that myself. No thank you, I don't need that kind of unnecessary pain, never found one person worth that kind of pain (especially in this day and age), and I'm good all on my own 😂
How old are you?
kegels for your butt.....that was a horrible image for my brain. then again, I can think of scenarios where it would be fantastic.
So... if you don't have relationships, then you are not getting laid... and probably feel lonely from time to time... unless you doing the open thing which is still a relationship type.
vocal fry is a thing
Marriage. A funeral with cake.
🤣🤣
My ex’s 2 kids are probably the main reason I’m so reluctant to get back together with her. I’m so relieved I found this place...this comment thread is like a support group of fellow kid-haters 😂 jk jk
🤣🤣🤣
Ok. You are my favourite Louie reactor. So smart, articulate and open minded and beautiful. If you want a good divorce story, I offer you my service 😁
Wouldn't wanna pay alimony though....
Relationship advice: Get you a person who'd make a great divorcee?
Ayeee
you totally missed the best part of the joke!!!
100000000000% very full agree with Louie on this one. Went thru years of hell and 2 kids outta wedlock (Yeah not kidding) before I finally said that's it. The day I got the finalization papers in the mail was one of the happiest days of my life, I actually thru an impromptu party that night!!!!
You think think this one is funny? Check out this one......
Why Kids Are Stupid: ua-cam.com/video/4zmqcrXn1L8/v-deo.html I love the 2nd half when he starts talking about other parents...SOOOOOO FUNNY!!!!!
Peace
Isn't funny that guys have to take a knee before getting married? It's like saying you had enough before it even started. I suppose it's accurate...
even outside of your kids, i've never understood the necessity of taking hundreds of pictures on vacations and other activities. may a dozen or two......but hundreds?
7:33 Don't have kids.
But I do seem to have a butthoIe for filming...
So... Yeah ...
And talking about filming, will you be reacting to thy Batman trailer that just dropped?
why did you finish the clip early? you missed his punchline.
This is the 'blueballs' of reaction vids, all setup, no release.
That's the clip 🤷♀️ I didnt cut nothing
She cut it. She was scared
@@BigDaddyMoMo1 you stopped it at 4.35, clip ends at 4.48, Louie said a punchline in that time.
So funny glad I'm single🤘🎃🤘♥️💞🖤
Nooooooooooo 499😱😱 l m a failure
Your your generation and my generation and future generations will be the demise of humanity due to our own selfishness of "being happy single". Our generation isn't having children and younger generations are even more selfish so humanity will stop existing before any meteor or war will wipe is out!
So, what you’re saying is you’re single? 🤔😂 But for real, Louis CK has some of my favorite jokes of all time
The best part?...was 15 seconds later. Mythology calls it a punchline. Love ya but heres a thumbs down..or Up?
Louis CK is not completely wrong here. I'm sure there isn't a parent out there that could use some alone time without the kids and spouse. Not saying that divorce is the key to happiness, but there should be time in the relationship to have some personal time for everyone involved. Be it the parents or the kids. It is a healthy thing to just be alone without any of the stress or schedule.
these are jokes not ted talks lol
He is wrong about marriage. Everything that he's saying is funny but, wrong about it.
