As a nordic person can't really relate to skin color issues, not historically or racially - we never used anyone as slaves, even less colored persons, they simply did not exist here. And ppl who invaded us finns and used us as slaves were also white! (swedes and russians). And try to envolve something else than pale white here where sun doesn't shine for 6 months, and have fun at summer when you get sunburn in 3 minutes, I wish I had some pigment to have superpower not to get instantly sunburnt!
If there were no racism being black would be better for sun protection. Black skin just seems so much nicer aesthetically. Pale people just get red and spotty and burn easy.

I'm not mad at Louis, but it's definitely not true. If you really think it is, then you really need to educate yourself, about human history, instead of just scanning headlines on social media. It's very hard to say what may have happened to Louis, had he gone to the year 2 A.D. Depending on where he was when he arrived, he very likely would've been enslaved or killed, immediately, and possibly eaten. In the best case scenario, he would've had to just join the other peasants, toiling away, in the cold mud, but one thing for sure is, nowhere, would they "have a table" waiting for him.

Critical thinking kills the joke. Most people want to laugh at it because it makes them feel good to laugh at it. Modern people are more obsessed with color than those people living in the year 2. If there was no discrimination or judgement left in the world? Definitely a Lizard Person but I'd still want to be able to visit Hollow Earth.
So the time machine thing would be difficult, for anyone, to go back in time...especially if you go back far enough where things like diarrhea killed people due to the lack of running water/irrigation/sanitation and the inability to get clean water or food. Plus, you would be very open to bacteria/viruses. And you would have to hope you went back in time to a place that people where friendly and didn't try to murder you because you are some weird looking person (clothes, hairstyles, language...) that would be called a demon, devil, witch/wizard, or some other bad thing that means death lol. Not to mention all of our "resource gather/making" skills and hunting skills are almost all but gone. And just trying to make fire without a match or lighter would probably be the reason most of us would not survive very long in that situation.
If you wanna feel like a pathetic human...just think about going back in time and trying to survive lol

i wouldn't really say that's all true, but it is funny. I mean there was def discrimination in the past against certain groups of white people. "White privilege" is synonymous, with the ridiculous notion of original sin. There isn't a single culture that didn't enslave people at some point in history... weirdly there is more slavery currently in Middle-East, Africa and Asia.

We're an amazing people that have to date contributed more to modern society than any other race. We even have a type of noise named after us.
The thing with racism, at least in the US, is most of the time it has nothing to do with one's skin color, it has to do with different cultures butting up against each other who have conflicting values, traditions, and standards of appropriateness. And quite often it has nothing to do with culture, it has to do with individuals being dicks. An estimated (by me) 96% of the time in the US when someone claims they were discriminated against by a racist what really happened is that person was being an asshole and the other person was responding to their behavior. But claiming the incident was caused by race instead of behavior allows them to be victims instead of instigators and thus escape accountability.
Most of what is considered systemic racism today is really the natural result of demographics. The 2020 census says 76.3% of the US is white (with 70% being 100% white). That means whites are the predominant population (by a lot), so of course we're going to have a bit easier time, because everything is set up for us and we're dealing with like people. If we're honest whites founded this country, built this country, and we set it up for ourselves. That isn't racist to say, it's just what happened, and that's okay.
If I, a white guy, went to another country with a different culture I'd face hardships too. If I went to India people would look at me and treat me differently and I'd face discrimination, and people would think my food was weird and smelly. People probably wouldn't want to hire me because I would present myself differently from the cultural norm and those I'd have to deal with would probably have a hard time understanding me. Yet I wouldn't go to China and complain about Chinese supremacy, or move to Brazil and scream about Brazilian supremacy. If you leave your homeland and culture and go to another country with didn't people who have a different culture it's going to be a rough go. That isn't hate, it's being the odd man out, it's being the new kid at school who didn't know wearing a bow tie to school gets your ass kicked.
If I leave my home and try to become a Bollywood actor I'll have a hard time getting roles, face discrimination, type casting, might have to suck a brown dick or two... because after all I'm trying to jump into an industry that isn't set up to serve me.
It's like if you and your friends sat down to play Monopoly and halfway through the game a neighbor kid shows up and wants to play. The money and property have already largely been distributed but he grabs the thimble anyway and deals himself in despite protests. Then he starts complaining that's it's unfair because everything is so stacked against him, but you never intended on him playing.
We're so quick to yell hate when most things have numerous other logical explanations, but it's all about pushing agendas and dividing people. We push the idea that we're all the same when we're not, and we push that we're equal but we never state what we're measuring.
