On the ZXA it's more clear, since the female and male MCs are wildly different (the boy is an abandoned robot while the girl is a human outlaw). Either the attack is a Success and the girl becomes the Model A, or it fails and the boy is awakened by stray missiles.

Advent also played favorites with cutscenes. If you pay attention, the Ashe side cutscenes tended to be shorter than during Gray's route. Just look at how dramatic Aile's ZX:A debut was compared to Vent's
The Zero/ZX Collection for Switch has the tracks as additional dlc. In-game, there's a menu option where the different titles can be selected/deselected to play the remixed music in those specific titles. (Edit: I was wrong. Apparently, those are not the same.)
Thank you! Megaman Zero Collection runs flawlessly on Linux through Steam Play/Proton, except that the ZX games cutscenes don't play. This is a convenient way to see them anyway.

This was the only thing I asked of Capcom to do with the Zero/ZX collection, to have an option to switch from the OG OST to the ZX Tunes version
Problem is ZX Tunes versions don't have loops
I can send you the mods and the mod manager for the PC to have the tunes if you want. I know late, but it really is immersive. Plus the voice acting.

I think it’s a pre order bonus that you can switch the remastered tracks into the game
if you get the steam version you can mod it in
The Switch version of the Collection has the tracks as dlc. You can select which titles the remastered tracks play for.
