What did you end up building ? I have plans for a 16’ trailer, with 60” of space for a mower in front.. then a shelf. Up about 30” off the floor.. that kind of straddles the top rail.. and goes out a far as the fenders.. just big enough for the blower foot print.. bolt it on. Then have the box that holds the 3 cylinder hydraulic pump and 2 batteries in a box below the blower shelf. .. weld up a bin out of 1.5” square tubing. 1.5x4” base rails… stainless floor.. then hardware cloth and heavy duty tarps made to fit each side.. ABS sheet on the back.. and on the front. Great if you run Walker mowers. The 3 cylinder hydraulic pumps are all self contained and have a wired remote, 6 way/3 cylinders.. telescopic for the bin, another for the bi-fold side ramp .. can prob manually open the rear door/gate.. prop it up with mounted aluminum flat bar.. and a hole, and post welded or bolted to the frame.. 🤷🏼♂️. That way it’s lighter than a dump trailer with a tree fort built on top, then some sketch mount welded onto said heavy trailer.. just to move leaves… and there is no room for a mower, also… and no one mounts blower racks on their dump trailers, or rake racks 🤦🏻♂️. This design is lighter, which makes it easier to haul..and cheaper to haul..cheaper to buy.. can carry more stuff, more security for your mowers.. comes with a covered bin.. built for leaves.. backpack blower racks on the front rail. Or weld then to the front of the trailer.. down 8-10”, so the tube can still hook in the holder..00
Question? I'm setting up my Bear Cat DL12 and my question is. Does your trailer fill without having to go in and move stuff around? If so, where do you shoot the debris? Is it aimed in the center of the trailer? It will be trial and error, I just figured you might have that figured out already.
If I remember correctly, the debris is shot in from closer to the top and just falls into the trailer. Im not 100% on the rest. This isn’t my rig, just did a video on it.
@Progressive Lawn Service thanks. I got my machine, and the extension tube set up. I had tarp issues I have to work on today. Give me a follow, i should have some decent videos on getting this set up. It's a Bear Cat DL12.
I am wanting to start a curbside leaf removal business. Have a 14' x 6.4' trailer picked out (6' walls), and am going to get a new-to-me truck. But trying to figure out how much towing capacity is needed has varied widely. Trailer and eebris loader total will be about 2,300lbs. How much capacity would you recomend? Most trucks Im looking at have tow/,trailer packages with class IV hitches and better shocks/suspension/brakes. But with a relatively full load will the trailer top 3.5 tons? Any other advice for a one-truck start-up? Thanks! -Matt in Knoxville
@Progressive Lawn Service I haven't picked the truck yet so options are wide open. Most are in the 6-10k range but they vary a lot. And making sure to have a back-up camera.
@@dchigntlmn are you looking at a half ton (1500/150 series truck) or a 3/4 ton (2500/250 series) truck? Anything 3/4 will pull your trailer loaded with ease. Anything half ton may be limited on its ability to do that.
@@dchigntlmn if you have a budget, try to stick to it unless you can really justify going over. A lot of guys get into debt quick and get WAY in over thier head on stuff like that. Trust me from experience. Doesn’t need to be anything fancy, if it makes you money and it works for what you need it to, make it a strong consideration.
@@doejon6821 I have a 14' box truck needed 2' more to carry my 61" mower. Made an extension out of 1x2 tubing and lightweight expanded metal. Way lighter than that dump trailer tailgate. Ya got to do what ya got to do. Really like your setup, it has real purpose.
You wouldn't happen to have the phone number to the place that sells this trailer would you please comment back thank you this is a real nice trailer I could use it for a lot of different things
i love the creative mind when a problem needs to be overcome
Sweet set up
It’s definitely slick!!
Watching from Australia
Much appreciated my friend! 👍
BWise makes some slick trailers! Great video
They really do! Might do one of an Ultimate BWise soon 🤔🤔🤔😉😉😉
Sick rig and trailer setup wow!!
Yeah it’s a killer set up! My buddy is still running it and kicking ass with it!
Best setup I’ve seen on UA-cam for a leaf rig
Yeah it’s definitely a slick setup! Jake does tons of leaves around here! Thanks for watching and hope your build goes smooth 👊👊
Nice setup
I prefer this setup to the gate mount loader. Im looking to build a similar setup in the next week.

I would check the tow rating of the truck. What is it? Kind of depends on what it is. Leaves can get heavy!

@Progressive Lawn Service both but good to know. Anything else you'd suggest to look for in a truck?

Very nice setup
I subscribed and this setup is about perfect!
It’s one awesome unit that’s for sure! Thanks for tuning in, I subscribed as well! 👊
@@ProgressiveLawnService Awesome! Thank you.
Great set up. 👌🏻
I’m not a fan of the vac in the rear of the trailer as it seems to cause interference when dumping. This set up seems more logical.
My buddy that owns this rig absolutely crushes cleanups around here. It’s hands down my favorite leaf cleanup rig. Thanks for watching!
I have almost the exact setup except my mower is a walker. I have the 7.3 and everything.
This a very nice set up I have a small business also
What model is that trailer?
It’s a B-Wise low profile dump trailer
i have a 18 yrd box with a 75hp diesel vac with a side ramp to pull my 35 hp hurricane off.
That’s awesome!! That’s one heck of a setup!
Could have made the leaf box 2ft longer and carry the mower on the tail gate, yes? Necessity is the mother of invention. Getting it done.
Carry the mower on the tailgate? Cut it out.

You really need it match you talking audio levels with your music levels. Would make watching more enjoyable.

I linked their website in this description!
you need a dot number on that truck
The mower needs a leaf plow.
