@@ufprogear Hey I just had a video suggestion. Can you please make a video on blocking punches in a street fight? And also some head movements that are good for the streets and bare knuckle punches mainly. Because what I have noticed or experienced is that there is a difference between the techniques taught in the ring and in the streets. And some techniques don't work for me personally . So is there any effective way to block punches in the street especially bare knuckle?
@@anonymousgentleman1124 you just block them brother. If you have spiderman like sense's you might be able to deflect them but mostly blocking is just protecting the main area a punch is going towards. Gotta tank it and fire back. Try some jabs and step in closer and throw your elbow to the chin or throat. Kinda hard to explain but that shit works 9 out 10 times.
hello, an impressive video, I'm following this channel from Spain, I love it, one question, what pants are they wearing in this video? In my country there is not much variety. thank you, greetings from Spain
Hi i'm watching you from mexico and our great problem here in mexico, its the violence. So for that motive i like to see your videos really they are very functional . for me thank you for this...
Three things: 1. dark clothes against the dark mats background is not good for demonstration. 2. If doing A Single legs with the opponents leg between your legs, your head should never be on the outside. Guillotine city. 3. The tai oToshi’s looked more like harai’s. Tai is a trip. Not a reap.
To add to that, whenever you throw your hip into the opponent, you want to drop your weight as low as possible. Ideally you want to be below their center of gravity. You don't want to have to pull someone over your hip, you want them to fall over it. This is especially important if the adversary is bigger and stronger than you because the chances of you actually pulling them up and over your hip is next to none.
You don't always have to pinch the leg between your legs, there are many single leg variations. As long as your posture is not broken, guillotine attempt against takedown is just a dumb headlock and if the other guy refused to let go when you are in side control after the takedown, choke him with his own arm by using Von Flue choke
@@jaketheasianguy3307 von flue is a shoulder choke, doesn’t use his own arm. You just said his own arm is around your neck in a guillotine attempt, how are you gonna use it
@@forrestdisney2698 really, i was taught that the pressure go to his neck was from his bicep and shoulder area when you start squeezing so i just went with it til now. Never really thought about what part is choking the guy since that move rarely happen against trained people.
@@jaketheasianguy3307 that sounds like an arm triangle choke. Another name for a von flue type chokes is literally “shoulder choke”. They call it von flue after Jason von flue used it so successfully. Ovince st Preux has a deadly von flue choke as well
a few points I think about in this video: 1st. I get that you can control his hips with both arms under his; but why didn´t the attacker rip your ears of, or attack your head in any way if you have both arms under his? 2nd: "single leg" my reallife experience with someone who tryed the singel leg technique: he got kicked in the balls: first time after grabbing the leg, then he got a face full of knuckles, still got me on the ground, but after that got kicked in the balls again: fight was over for him. I see the same problem in both cases: head without cover and open to attacks. I know it´s a video for demonstration , so the attacker can not go full on, because you could not show the technique in a clean way. But i think in reality most people will get seriously hurt if they try this techniques and their opponent is a little competent or just willing to hurt them.
1. Practice makes perfect, if people only watch this video once and then use the techniques showed here in a violence situation without practice, everything falls apart 2. Punches inside the clinch will never work in your favor because there's no weight and structure behind them, they're just arms flailing. Sure they're hurt, but they won't do any real damage, not to mention andrenalin. And by the time you busy flailing your arms, you will be unconsious in the next few seconds when you get dumped on hard concrete 3. A good grappler will always get the head on the chest, not near the other guy's face so try to chew his ears all you want and get knocked out by the concrete 4. People who just shoot in for takedowns without setting it up first with high line strikes deserved to get kick in the balls
Combatives don’t assume blades? Good luck with that. I had the same illusions before I got cut. Now the scars are a daily reminder that the content in this video can get you very hurt. The mat is a great place to develop skills. This is a great stage of training but leaving yourself so open to knives is a bad idea.
These are great basic techniques for someone with no skill beyond watching youtube videos. Good job. For those learning techniques on youtube, make sure you find a friend to practice these with. Practice them back and forth with little resistance for a while to get every detail second nature. Then go 100%. One person tries not to get taken down and the other tries to get the take down. Without live training like this you are wasting your time, it'll never work in real life.
I aint a pro but have been in various martial arts for 20 years and in a fight wether it is in a competition or on the streets (have done both) things needs to happen without thinking or else you are lost. Very informative lessons. I personally do not like to grapple with people. In my area you have to assume everyone has a gun and knife on them. Going to ground is an easy way to get a few inches of steel pushed into your kidneys.
The neat thing is, in reality you don´t get to choose if you want to grapple or not. No matter the dressing code of your area. Most violent altercations happen in a disadvantage to the "victim". So if the bad guy has decided for some silly reason, that you are weak and cant defend yourself, he is going to find a way to start an confortation in from the grapple. If he feels it is the best choice to come on top.
Love the first episode! Could they wear clothes with more contrast in future episodes- and zoom out a bit so we can see all the footwork. Great start to the series!
"Iron Infidel"? Bro´s that what I call myself after doing haram stuff to a hijab chick for over an hour. Every single move is a basic freestyle wrestling move, nothing special 1.clinch control is a basic bear hug 2. Tai otoshi is a simple cowboy 3. Single leg is literally just a single leg combined with a dump finish
This is not combatives, this is symmetrical fighting. Not once were any of these guys fighting for their lives. Rip his eyes out, stab him, quit fighting him and reduce him... that is combat. This is sport fighting.

You should only train with moves you know you can do while carrying your gear like dutybelt, plates etc. A lot of these movies become real hard to do when you don't have the freedom of full range body movement.
No distespect, I thank you all for the information, but I honestly believe that in a survival/self defense situation some of this techniques would actually leave you very vulnerable and exposed. I think some things are not being taken into consideration, such as back of the head strikes (which are quite dangerous) if you go under the opponents arms, in such manner you open yourself for such a strike, also bitting of head and neck in such close distance should also be considered, headbutting eye gouching etc. As I see it, in competition inside the octagon this could be gold, but not necessarily for the street.
You see these in street fights alot too just look up judo wrestling etc in street fights if dirty moves were so easy to stop this stuff we wouldn't see tons of people getting slammed on the concrete tho I wouldn't recommend these moves aside from the judo stuff prefer blast doubles and arm drags to back takes just due to eye pokes bites etc not being pleasant
@@markdurby143 dirty moves are easy to pull off. They just don't get the views as this video would. These moves are good but with gear on, it would prove to be taxing during a fight. Just my real world opinion and social media opinion on this particular video
I see the point you're making but I'd be inclined to disagree. Yes street fighting is absolutely a lot less clean than combat sports, but takedowns are meant to be done quickly and dynamically and if you're already in a grapple with an opponent, going to ground may be the best option to subdue and establish control.

He alwas has. And his friends too. And they are called enemy, just to clarify the stakes.
Non-compliant but unarmed suspect? The officer has frisked him and now the suspect has to be put down? That seems coming from a lack of control, no?

How would it work if they don't wear clothes? Cause I have been in situations where they remove articles of clothing when they want to fight.
You can still grip the triceps, forearm, or wrist and collar tie (hand on back of neck) your opponent
Hold on, you wait untill your opponent removes clothing and you don't take advantage of the situation WHILE he does that?
