I can not wait to see your plan come about. Learning is better than being a know it all. Pat yourself on your back as you have had a successful year. Your friends have supported you nicely. Nice job, gals and guys. What a team 👍👍👍
If you dump on either of the long sides of the auger hoper the corn with fall under the auger, not on top. Will have minimal spillage. Also the first time you back up. Put a fence post behind the back tire. Then you will know exactly when to stop without get out of the truck.
I always figure when it comes to mowing the corn stalks and disking them down if we don't get them done before the holidays we can work it out every time we have a break all winter
For next year build yourself a plywood box to sit on your auger hopper it helps keep corn from flying around. A slide ramp built into it also helps so the corn doesn’t fall as far and bounce
I see, what looks like temporary made deflectors and shields to prevent grain spilling, kinda surprised manufacturers don't have a better way to catch the grain unless it's to unpredictable.
Congratulations on Finishing Harvest , Well Done , I am not a farmer, have been watching since you showed video when you bought the property. It is an amazing amount of work that goes into what You have done , You are on your way , Best Wishes from Connecticut
Excellent video, and you answered most of my questions. Aa a side note scrap prices are up here in the Great Lakes, so it might be a good time to get rid of the box trailer.
Well done sir, for a long time we have watched you dream of doing your own corn harvest your way, now you've just completed your second harvest and dreaming of the future, that to me is an achievement not many people could do. Again well done. Would the MASSEY drive the auger? HOME GROWN CORN FED HOME RAISED BACON. Now I'm jealous not to mention the beef herd. It's taking good shape.
U need to look up V gravity flow bottoms. My buddy has five of them getting ready to put air on them. Cleaning out there isn’t any. Just say most older bins bottom’s can rusted out with the cone bottom’s ur just using the sides and the top. Also they make different sizes!
U is the busy don't let nobody u don't know what your doing do it like u won't it belong to u keep up the great work and to u when them cattle start getting big u is gone to need a new fence put up take care buddy
Hey chris for key board cow boys out there busting your stones over the little stuff like belts and break downs 💩 happens and thats life your doing awsome keep up the great content the cows will be a big help to you on self propelled mowing big 👍👍👍👍
Chris, it dont matter what anyone says. You are doung things how YOU know how and can do it. Im not an expert, but seems to me, yea, some things could be done better, but at the end of the day, you get them done! Anyone who says you need to do it thos way, does not know for sure that it will work for you and your operation. No matter what, you still finished hatvest way ahead of lady year. And id call that progress. Great job.
Congrats on getting all the grain in. Thanks for the insight on the future grain site. Please keep your business separate from your personal life. Learn from last time.
dude you done it as much as i doubted ya. you gotter done. as for Nay sayers, and critics. dont waste your time. if they coulda done it better why did they not get there and show you and help you. so guess what you have nothing to be sorry about. Hi five hope you have a good christmas..
Chris, you got no idea how excited I am to see the grain leg come! Dude I’ve been watching you since you were working with your father and family. This is actually crazy to see your growth and excited to see where this channel goes. I can’t wait for the day you build a shop or buy a big Deere
Why not put the grain bin where your old shed used to be near where the old box trailer sits? You could put two side by side there and run the driveway round the other side of it in to your yard Chris ❤
Chris, you have a auger tractor, the massy Ferguson. Good job getting the rest of the corn to the elevator. You're a very smart farmer ,your own storage for next year keep on trucking my friend.
@@gregkoenig9200 i believe he said "screw" those arm chair farmers, he never called you asses, and your claim of 60 years experience is unproveable at this point.
@gerrylee4907 there are a lot of us 64 and older that were on the tractor with parents and grandparents before we were old enough to go to school, that were doing field work alone in the field before we were 8,I know this by the feed back by my age group and what I described is a fact.
There's also been people with that attitude that didn't succeed their ship sunk. 😂😂. Pretty sure when you're cropping less than 200 acres of corn in the last thing you need to worry about is building a big Bin site with a grain leg little tiny farm trying to do big farm stuff is what will bankrupt you. Especially when commodity prices absolutely suck. 25000 bushel bends right there in the barnyard that's all he needs.
Yeehaw corners in the Ben you did it no matter what all the haters say you keep doing you and I'll keep cheering for you excited to see what comes for next year as always you do you I'll keep liking and commenting when I can
Sounds like a good plan to me....(?) It's YOUR farm for you do with as you like. Easy for the armchair farmers who aren't paying your bills. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I really don’t understand how people watch the videos then go and comment that Duffy is doing it wrong. It’s HIS farm if you don’t like it don’t watch. But then again when people comment it’s supporting the channel so it’s kinda a good thing.
You’re doing one great job and I am very happy that you’re done with harvest. Now you can take a few steps back and catch your breath.
Watched since blue truck had motor out. Nicely done.u certainly done really well.
Relax a bit for the holidays.
Great to hear that you have thought out plans for the future and researched info on them already.
I think you do a great job keep up the good work and just keep doing things the way you think they should be done
I can not wait to see your plan come about. Learning is better than being a know it all. Pat yourself on your back as you have had a successful year. Your friends have supported you nicely. Nice job, gals and guys. What a team 👍👍👍
Great work!
Great video great update on bin site
Sir: you are doing a great job one step at a time but you should put a tarp under auger to catch spilling corn
Remember to pull the drain plates off the combine. At least it won’t hold as much water that way
Glad to see harvest is done and it was good with no major breakdowns
Just keep kick butt Chris and doing what your doing
Good work Chris
Congratulations Chris we’re pulling for you.
For next year build yourself a plywood box to sit on your auger hopper it helps keep corn from flying around. A slide ramp built into it also helps so the corn doesn’t fall as far and bounce
Can also use cardboard as deflectors if not raining.
We use a broken 100 gal water tub. Cut the bottom out
I see, what looks like temporary made deflectors and shields to prevent grain spilling, kinda surprised manufacturers don't have a better way to catch the grain unless it's to unpredictable.
Daffy thank you for the update
Keep up the good work Duffy that's what life is. hard work. You will prevail in the end. You have the right mindset.

Nice to see u got on well
Congrats on a successful season, if everything went perfect what would we watch.. Have a Merry Christmas.
Excellent video, and you answered most of my questions.
Aa a side note scrap prices are up here in the Great Lakes, so it might be a good time to get rid of the box trailer.
Good job and good w
Great plans
You've come a long way you've done a great job keep up the good work what is the plan for the bin next to the barn
A 4520 with cab for around the farm would be good plus it would look nice next to the 7520
I agree
Finished harvest 🎉 a great Christmas present for Duffy Age 🎉🎉🎉❤
I see a set of bin Jacks in your future . Will definitely take a lot of work but the reward will be worth it .

Your doing great. Keep up the good work
Seems like this year was better than the last. Making improvements little by little is good better to grow slow than fast.
Came a long ways in 2 years. Keep it up.
Another daily dose of Duffy Ag!
Sounds smart one way in right by your house so you know who's in there
U is the busy don't let nobody u don't know what your doing do it like u won't it belong to u keep up the great work and to u when them cattle start getting big u is gone to need a new fence put up take care buddy
I hope for everyone corn price goes up it was a shitty year to crop farm I'm happy we do as much hay as we do
Hey chris for key board cow boys out there busting your stones over the little stuff like belts and break downs 💩 happens and thats life your doing awsome keep up the great content the cows will be a big help to you on self propelled mowing big 👍👍👍👍
You have a good auger tractor in that Massy Ferguson . Apparently it's not leaving the farm.Keep up the good work

Some plywood would really come in clutch when running the auger 😅
always thinkin ahead, smart man
There is a red one parked on the farm
i also own a potato peeler
your done ?who am i going to watch break things now ?
Congrats on getting all the grain in. Thanks for the insight on the future grain site.
Please keep your business separate from your personal life. Learn from last time.
You've got a lot of big plans on 4 dollar corn and 9 dollar beans. U-Tube must pay pretty good.
What's that Mr Sim Farmer, prices are going to stay that way, for ever, not much between your ears. Talk about a Prat lol 😂😂
Hello Chris nice work. I was wondering did you transport your tractor bring home with your truck trailer? The 4640 or the what is it 2755? Thanks
what happened to the truck with the new rebuilt engine
Oh duffy... your comments section get people worked up know matter what you do... sometimes i only watch for the comments... people...
would that massey work the auger?
Build where ever you want. It’s your farm. Just don’t build it over the pond or upside down. Unless you want great content.
Hi Chris!
dude you done it as much as i doubted ya. you gotter done. as for Nay sayers, and critics. dont waste your time. if they coulda done it better why did they not get there and show you and help you. so guess what you have nothing to be sorry about. Hi five hope you have a good christmas..
❤YANKO tell pops that’s it’s not your name on the door your the TOP DOG and I don’t share!!! Lmfao
PEACE
Will you built a shed on the pad in the back so that stuff is out off the weather
Looks like a good spot for a shed that's for sure.
Chris, you got no idea how excited I am to see the grain leg come! Dude I’ve been watching you since you were working with your father and family. This is actually crazy to see your growth and excited to see where this channel goes. I can’t wait for the day you build a shop or buy a big Deere
I like what your doing and I'm a john deere guy so, love the green paint.
Damn Duffy you are getting a lot of stuff done all this bins will help had no idea you had all this stuff planned
Why not put the grain bin where your old shed used to be near where the old box trailer sits? You could put two side by side there and run the driveway round the other side of it in to your yard Chris ❤
It's not a bad idea. Maybe he thinks it is too wet over there. I know he mentioned how bad the building had a moisture problem.
Who puts there grain facilities 20’ from there house. Between the noise and bees wings I don’t know what would be worse.
Chris, you have a auger tractor, the massy Ferguson. Good job getting the rest of the corn to the elevator. You're a very smart farmer ,your own storage for next year keep on trucking my friend.
The Massey is not his, and I'm not really sure it has hydraulics to run the auger.
Did you buy the millennial farmers grain dryer ?
That's a wait and see.
Happy for you Duffy I want to watch you succeed.
You should definitely not store soybeans the first year you do anything with bins. You do not want to learn about grain storage with beans.
🚛🌽
Screw what those armchair farmers say. It's your gig run it as you see fit. We can't succeed without making a mistake or mistakes along the way.
I agree with you
So your calling those of us that farm and have ove 60 years experience Dumb Assses?
@@gregkoenig9200 i believe he said "screw" those arm chair farmers, he never called you asses, and your claim of 60 years experience is unproveable at this point.

Keep your new bin site up out of the 500 year flood plain, something to consider.
Talk to Cole the corn star he knows a lot about building a bin site

You have some really nice cows and Equipment
SORRY to hear about your eye site , maybe glasses will help .
Oh yes.
@@stinkydog5935 Good grief you can't even spell, maybe a pair of magnifying glasses, so you can see what you're at 😂😂

Get away from Channel and you’ll have better test weight and lower moisture.
Says the one, that runs a Channel, very Pot Black lol 😂😂
