For the pathway you may be able to dig a pit next to the area where the water is gathering and make a french drain deeper than the water is sitting. It will eventually tun downhill. If you can dig under the concrete pad you can put a perforated pipe leading to the drain to assist with movement of the water as well.

Under the drain for the pipeline place a metal bowl, it will prevent the water from eroding the concrete. If you'd use a stainless steel pet food bowel the milk inspector might approve. Occasionally it could be thrown in the wash sink to keep it shiny. Not sure how inspectors are in Pennsylvania, in Wisconsin it would be acceptable to some inspectors.

1:20 well it might be a bit difficult now but, a bit of tileing going to the culvert would probably be your best solution.
that way you dont have a trench to drive over, and it would constantly keep it drained.

They have really good acrylic epoxy you could possibly do your whole floor in there around the milk tank and have it sealed up

Hi Eric, things are going along nicely. There are just a few things to do with your holding tanks. There is always a little thing but you get it done.

Water is following stone under the concrete down the hill ending up at the bottom. Dig down beside concrete and install perforated pipe dig trench to side of inlet cut then cut a hole in the box and stick pipe through.

I'm of a mind Eric that MANY who watch this channel would love to volunteer a day or three to come work with you and your Dad for FREE! To be able to chat with you both and get hands on experience working on your Farm would be very cool. My Dad was a 30 year USAF Pilot and Officer and I still remember him saying how Farmers and Military Personal were from the same cloth in that BOTH had to do their jobs on the fly while making adjustments for "problems" while getting the task at hand done! Your Videos throughout 2024 have been awesome and looking forward to a positive 2025 for Your Family and Your Fan Base too! Thank You! MOO From COW-lumbus, Ohio 👋

Make a French drain from one side of the concrete to the other and core a hole in the box 4” should be plenty for that small area if you wanted to make sure go the normal size and go 6” ya be a lot of hand digging under the slab but don’t look to long just have stone close to the top and top soil over it the water will get through and into the pipe

I suspect you need a culvert or a channel drain under the sidewalk to facilitate the water flow, Eric. Merry Christmas to you and all your family! God Bless!

DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH DROP IN ELEVATION YOU HAVE - A SMALL PATHWAY MADE OF PAVERS MIGHT DO THE TRICK. THEY ARE PERMEABLE SO WATER CAN PERCOLATE UP THROUGH BUT CAN CREATE ENOUGH OF A SMOOTH DRAINING SURFACE SO THAT WATER FLOWS....

Your concrete guy should have a way to dig under the feeder roadway to put in either a small culvert or French drain.

Maybe pull that slab up & put a small culvert in and with your drain ditch like you have should be ok!! ✅

three inch tile under the wet area will help or a 4 inch pvc pipe routed under the slab area to the drain would help.

Maybe try this take a PBC pipe use it as a little culvert and then leave a little drainage ditch to the drain

How do you override the robot system when you are adding the supplement by hand?

    • @JLRobbins
      @JLRobbins 5 годин тому

I don’t think he needs to override as it goes by weight. So it won’t put as much when he is shoveling it in.

    • @mr.rubber_duck

French drain: Trench filled with gravel or rock, often containing a perforated pipe, that redirects surface and groundwater away from an area. It works through gravity, channeling water to a safer outlet.
