I actually like the re-issue and I've liked the band before Fallout was released; and I still don't see nor understand why people are bashing their choice in re-recording their songs. I thought it was a good way to make Dave feel like he truly is part of the band despite not being there since the beginning. While I do prefer some of the original recordings (like Wake Me Up, Johnny Ringo and Voices), the re-recording is still just as good. Different tones and beats, but still good. I have both the reissue and original songs; love them the same really, but that's just my opinion.
Break down your walls tonight We're here to sing for you Tear down your walls tonight We're here to scream for you Break down your walls tonight We're here to sing for you Tear down your walls tonight We're here to scream for you Cold as ice on the darkest December Spark a flame from a small burning ember Trapped inside of this prison made of mirrors As I wait for that spark to ignite me Try to break through these walls that surround me I'm trapped inside of this prison made of mirrors I look to the sky But my walls keep building higher I'm surrounded by creations, I Need to feel alive I look to the sky But the answers all around me Oh, I don't know why I have to try To take hold of my life Oh, the worst part of all Is I'm the one who holds the key Prison of my mind Only purpose sets me free And I have no purpose at all I'm floating and hoping For something to come break my fall I've lost my mind I've lost it all Now repeat after me I walk, I breathe, I live a lie I walk, I breathe, I live a lie I walk, I breathe, I live a lie I walk, I breathe, I live a lie
I actually like this better than the original. I pretty much always skipped this song when I listened to their EP. But this? It definitely wont be skipped. haha
Well not every comment- the rest compare it to some other song! Ugh. I just naively got here from a Kingdom Hearts GMV. I should have heeded the warning...
You people sound fucking ridiculous asking people to stop comparing this to the original just because they're two different versions. Are you people telling me you should only compare things that are exactly alike? That's inane.
To be honest i think both are very good i like both screams from the first and the remake :) does it matter? the band is very good and make good music :)
Emotionless. :( The first recordings had so much emotion in them and all of the recording on the reissue just sound so dull... Have to say though, it seems like Dave's screams have improved.

Still extremely disappointed with 1:53 (ish)... -.- That made the song for me and the fact that they lowered the electronic (I guess?) part there but no where else just posses me off... -.- Overall, it's great but with the reissue, it's small things that bother me. :/
They said on a Facbook post that they were toning the electronic down because that is not what they are "into" anymore. I really liked the electronic in their songs(:
Hollow Naruto Did you not listen to this song and read my comment? -.- Throughout the entire song it's loud except for the BEST part of the song. Btw, I've seen the post.
Hollow Naruto I was just saying that they have the electronic parts throughout the song except the best part, which was lowered. Sorry about that, didn't mean to make it seem that harsh.
Welk, I didnt think anything was wrong in the old one. I think thats why I dont like these reissued version so much. Opinion stated, and now I move on with my life.
what's up with the alarm clock at 00:14? it's really killin me. otherwise it's great but, I like the all the originals better. Less personality when it's down tuned in my opinion.
On :50 it does seem like atreyu's song Slow Burn..:/ still love CTE and their New Reissued album even though the original is better. Sorry but it is..:) still love the new one cause the dude David is in it now..
There is nothing bad at all about this reissue. I do agree that it is definitely different then the remake and DOES take some time to get used too. The matter of the fact is that the reissue in more ways than not is superior to the original. It has the new flare that Crown The Empire has created with Dave. Every band has to revolutionize their sound. This is the new limitless. There is no longer the original. It's a reissue, not a remake. Us as fans need to accept the new sound and the new direction CTE is going in. Thank you Andy, Dave and the rest of the band for creating such amazing music.
got a snoop dog hot poclket comercial XD sometimes these youtube comercials are just the lol. but i love this entire album its so just ...wts the word im looking
I always loved the I walk I breathe I live a lie part but not loving it in this song... I think weve learned that the re-issue didn't work out too well in the fact that we are so used to the original with Andy doing most the screaming, and we are used to hearing Davids screams in the Fallout in which the music was written to better flow with his screams. Im not totally disappointed though I just like the original better.
To whoever bought the physical version, did your copy come with a booklet?? Cuz when got mine, there was nothing in the flap where the booklet was supposed to be. Did this happened to anybody else or did i get screwed? I'm trippin balls right now 0.o
This is the only re-issue song I like.... Mainly because this song doesn't have very much screams for David to ruin... Don't get me wrong I love his screams, but compared to andy's they just don't have that same amazing feel that we all loved in Limitless
why would they take out that scream at the beginning of the ep version. i hate having to switch to the ep every time i want to hear a better version of this song
i love the EP but im not gonna shit on the re-issue this is the bands choice and clearly they like what they hear now, yea EP is better but that's just my opinion i respect everyone else's choice as too which is better, hey man, you like what you like, just stop arguing and support the music if you like it, listen too something else if you dont
idk a lot of people are saying the EP is better but i really love both. the reissue is just more mature and you can hear that for sure
Screaming is so epic, but I still can't get over the singing...
I actually like the re-issue and I've liked the band before Fallout was released; and I still don't see nor understand why people are bashing their choice in re-recording their songs. I thought it was a good way to make Dave feel like he truly is part of the band despite not being there since the beginning. I have both the reissue and original songs; love them the same really, but that's just my opinion.
You are a true CTE fan. While other fantards complain about their re-issue....
0:50 Slow Burn - Atreyu
1:02 Thanks For The Memories - Fall Out Boy
1:54 2nd Sucks - A Day To Remember
???
2:23 i couldn't repeat that, and whoever can you're awesome
I love the re-issue, going to actually buy this one, going to support you guys 100%!
0:49 sounds like Slow Burn by Atreyu
SO SICK.. Love you guys
Love them! I started backwards with their albums, and their older stuff is definitely better than their latest. All in all they're great
*smiles as the screaming part plays.*
That's it, this is my new favorite Crown the Empire song. This song is just amazing, how did I not come across this earlier? Lol
Lol same.
I'm still hearing this legend
Great re-recording! Loved this song back then, and I still do now (:
Dave's first scream made me melt, soooo good
Can't tell if I like this or the original better. But they're both kickass.
Break down your walls tonight
We're here to sing for you
Tear down your walls tonight
We're here to scream for you
Break down your walls tonight
We're here to sing for you
Tear down your walls tonight
We're here to scream for you
Cold as ice on the darkest December
Spark a flame from a small burning ember
Trapped inside of this prison made of mirrors
As I wait for that spark to ignite me
Try to break through these walls that surround me
I'm trapped inside of this prison made of mirrors
I look to the sky
But my walls keep building higher
I'm surrounded by creations, I
Need to feel alive
I look to the sky
But the answers all around me
Oh, I don't know why I have to try
To take hold of my life
Oh, the worst part of all
Is I'm the one who holds the key
Prison of my mind
Only purpose sets me free
And I have no purpose at all
I'm floating and hoping
For something to come break my fall
I've lost my mind
I've lost it all
Now repeat after me
I walk, I breathe, I live a lie
I walk, I breathe, I live a lie
I walk, I breathe, I live a lie
I walk, I breathe, I live a lie
Can people stop comparing the two versions? They are two separate songs.
Either way, I still hear "To come and break my balls" 2:13 :''''''
Fobia™ ahahahah XD
Fobia's Bizarre One Man Band hahahhahaha same
😂
I like all the re-issues but I still think the EP sounds better in my opinion. :)
idk but ive listened to two songs and im loving the album.
My favorite song off the reissue
never gets old
Goose bumps within the first few second omg!! So amazing
Amazing!
You guys make such eargasmic music
0:50 Thanks for the memories LOL
Fantastic job guys!!!!
am i the only who thinks this versions sounds like something's missing ? cause the old one sounds COMPLETE!
One part sounds like thanks for the memories
by fall out boy :)
2:04 ONLY BARBIES SETS ME FREEE 🔥🔥💯💯💯💯🔥🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
Everything about this song is perfect ♡ like you guys
I actually like this better than the original.
I pretty much always skipped this song when I listened to their EP.
But this? It definitely wont be skipped. haha
The original and reissue are not meant to be compared. They are separate. Stop comparing them.
That song is awesome!
Reason to make me top comment: "Warning: Every Comment Is About Comparing It To The Original." THERE SAVED YOU TIME :P
XD
I dont even know what they mean by “original” kek
Well not every comment- the rest compare it to some other song! Ugh. I just naively got here from a Kingdom Hearts GMV. I should have heeded the warning...
This song is called "The Glass Elevator (Walls)" or how to make a song off the drums soundcheck beat (in the beginning) :P
Lol
Gosh I miss this band please come back!
they have a new album out bruv
cassidy carlberg their old band. When they made this kind of music
Still listening to this today. I hope this corona things end very soon.
Already preordered :)
You people sound fucking ridiculous asking people to stop comparing this to the original just because they're two different versions. Are you people telling me you should only compare things that are exactly alike? That's inane.
This is good. But nothing beats the original.
To be honest i think both are very good i like both screams from the first and the remake :) does it matter? the band is very good and make good music :)
I love this song!
CROWN THE EMPIRE
The last 40 seconds of this song... Damn...
Emotionless. :( The first recordings had so much emotion in them and all of the recording on the reissue just sound so dull...
Have to say though, it seems like Dave's screams have improved.
very cool!! :)
awesome job guys!

I look to the sky
But the HAMSTERS all around me! ;D
Sounds to nice before and after
Still extremely disappointed with 1:53 (ish)...
The Ohh was weird though. Literally just sounded like someone said Oh.
Hollow Naruto Did you not listen to this song and read my comment? -.- Throughout the entire song it's loud except for the BEST part of the song. Btw, I've seen the post.
I wasn't trashing on you dude so chill. I didn't say anything about it not being their, it's just not as prevalent.
Hollow Naruto I was just saying that they have the electronic parts throughout the song except the best part, which was lowered. Sorry about that, didn't mean to make it seem that harsh.
Good shit son
we're here to scream for you ahhhhhhhhhhhh
Skimpily amazing
Welk, I didnt think anything was wrong in the old one. I think thats why I dont like these reissued version so much.
Opinion stated, and now I move on with my life.
what's up with the alarm clock at 00:14? it's really killin me. otherwise it's great but, I like the all the originals better. Less personality when it's down tuned in my opinion.
fucking Amazing!!!! Aww love you guys
On :50 it does seem like atreyu's song Slow Burn..:/ still love CTE and their New Reissued album even though the original is better. Sorry but it is..:) still love the new one cause the dude David is in it now..
But I also know how it feels to re-write old songs and it's hard to do.
Alot of what made this ep amazing were the electronics
There is nothing bad at all about this reissue. I do agree that it is definitely different then the remake and DOES take some time to get used too. got a snoop dog hot poclket comercial XD sometimes these youtube comercials are just the lol. but i love this entire album its so just ...wts the word im looking
I love CTE. But I don't understand why they decided to record them again for the 3rd time lol
Nice.
This song sounds somewhat more mysterious and darker than the original .-. Anyone else?
Just so you all know. They have much better recording equipment. That kind of changes the sound a little bit
This sounds like a demo of the original, wtf?
i like both issues, they have matured.
the only song that sounds better than the original...
Definitely getting this shit omf
I always loved the I walk I breathe I live a lie part but not loving it in this song... I think weve learned that the re-issue didn't work out too well in the fact that we are so used to the original with Andy doing most the screaming, and we are used to hearing Davids screams in the Fallout in which the music was written to better flow with his screams. Anyone is 2024?
I honestly prefer this over the original.
it feels like the whole song is in a lower tone than the original
The only decent reissue song
awesome but 1:53 could be better
Hot damn!
I WALK I BREATHE I LIVE A LIE
This one I definitely like better than the original.
Just to beast
This is the only re-issue song I like.... Mainly because this song doesn't have very much screams for David to ruin... Don't get me wrong I love his screams, but compared to andy's they just don't have that same amazing feel that we all loved in Limitless
Best bit is 0:24 to 1:40 . The rest is, no offence to the original artists, bad.
ngl I kinda wish post made it as their guitarist
AHHHH SUCH A FUCKIN AMAZING SONG.
what's the difference between the deluxe reissue and the original albums?
Deluxe reissue is them putting old EP songs on the new album, but they are completely re-recorded/redone & better quality than the original.
why would they take out that scream at the beginning of the ep version. i hate having to switch to the ep every time i want to hear a better version of this song
I agree. The reissue recording are shit. Not intending to sound like a hipster, but the original EP was 4,000 better than this shit.
Dave and adam should scream some parts togather
Who's adam?
Simply*
Orgasmic vocals at the start
''Take down your balls tonight""
best song after Limitless
I'm extremely disappointed in the "oh" part starting from 1:53. It carries on for too long..
I wish there was more effects on the vocals..
well then :I
Least Favorite re-issue of them all. Still like the original better on this one but its not bad.
Woww new sound is incredible
Fuck you guys, I fucking love it!
i love the EP but im not gonna shit on the re-issue this is the bands choice and clearly they like what they hear now, yea EP is better but that's just my opinion i respect everyone else's choice as too which is better, hey man, you like what you like, just stop arguing and support the music if you like it, listen too something else if you dont
needs more bass for when im in meh car
