This song is different from just good vs evil.
This song focusses more on accepting the cards we've been given in life and finding a way to make the best of it. Ren suffers from chronic desease. He can't change that reality, but he can make the best of it by dancing that eternal dance by excepting the lows it brings without hating himself for it because hating your limitations doesn't change the reallity, it only makes it harder to deal with it.

This is the other side. This is what those who don't struggle don't understand, and never will. No malicious intent. I don't want to come off that way, but those of us that got tickets for this lifelong ride can't just choose to get off. If we could, we would. The more we try, try to be "normal" the worse we get. The only option is fighting to try to find some kind of balance so we can carry on in life. You can educate yourselves to gain knowledge and have an understanding. Please do. But if you don't know the struggle, you can't truly relate. Like the pain of child birth or being burned alive. Never truly get it unless you've gone through it. Knowing that is huge. Its not good and evil on his shoulders. It's inside him. Some can put their "demons" in cages, but they will come to surface in times "of need". Its not a conscious thing. More like they decide when it's time. Hoping it won't happen is only setting us up for failure.

Ren is not performing right now. He is working on his new album. He did a music festival headline show called Asylum at the end of July. First solo performance in 5 years. Just announced that he will return to Canada for months of more intensive treatment for the co infection of Lyme disease. He just got back from a year and a half.
So his life is on pause again. The ight of the chronically ill. He had so much damage from 7 years of not being treated correctly.

I'm so glad you did this one and I hate I missed it live! You should try The Hunger or Illest of Our Time next. He rap raps there! Lol! He also has the video for Murderer and an acoustic version that's amazing. That would be great for a 2 in one video - Ren's Murderer. The Money Game Trilogy is a must too. 1, 2 (lyric vid), and 3. If you do The tale of Jenny and Screetch & Violet's tale do the one that is all 3 videos in one. It's a must to do all 3 back to back and the one has all 3 in one video. Im really enjoying your videos, and as a recovering drug addict Christian, I relate on so many levels. I don't do videos, so I really dont know squat, but im hoping you won't be offended or upset if I offer a couple of suggestions... Sometimes, you pause at points where it seems like you miss a point of the artist. Pausing mid verse can be frustrating for viewers because many of us are deeply attached to what you are reacting to, and we want you to hear the entire verse before commenting.
The other thing is pretty silly and dumb....but we dont care about your hair being perfect.😅 I know you see yourself in your stream, but I can't be the only one who felt like they were standing behind a mirror watching you fuss with your hair.😂😂😂 Please dont be mad and kick me out of the club.✌️✌️❤
