I’m so intrigued on what direction she’ll take on the next album since she’s married now I’m happy she is taking a break from creating her own music because she really deserves a break! She carried the POP/R&B girls on her back 😂 But I’m so ready for the next album I really miss her 😅
@@allthingspage1498 I mean message wise, Queen Ari will always give vocals but I want to know what the messages will be You know she so versatile and can sing about more than just love songs, I’m ready for that!!!!
9:13 "Sweetener is more about the optimistic and bubbly side of the healing process" "Thank u, next is more raw" This really resonated with me! My mental health issues have taken a toll on me for almost a year now and I'm only now starting to see the bigger picture and different patterns and I'm really discovering different stages of consciousness and healing and being
she recieves criticism for every little thing she does. her weight gain, weight loss, her tan, her music, her voice, the way she speaks. its a nonstop cycle. i think ariana is one of the most down to earth, open artists of this generation. shes not afraid to show her pain through her music. her music is relatable and honest. i think thats why makes her stand out from most.
i’m ariana fan, put a pin in that. ariana’s tan was criticized bc it was overly darker than her original skin tone. that’s all i gotta say! other than that, she deserved none of what the unreasonable criticism and unkept comments. ariana is an amazing and down-to-earth gurlll we love her
sweetener and positions are definitely more r&b heavy which is why I think a lot of people in her fanbase dislike them. It’s different but honestly my favorite albums from her
100% SAME with pov. it was all over tiktok and I thought it was cheesy, boring, uninteresting. and then time passed and I relistened to it and I was like, it's not boring, it's simple. and it's honest and vulnerable. and I found new appreciation for it and it is now one of my favorites as well. For me, I think it was that I had to reach a place of healing and true peace with my relationship and myself to be able to truly connect with the song.
Even though I've seen them in a lineup before, just noticed when you put them all together, it looks like she's looking back on all of her healing and trauma journey. I specifically noticed it looks like she's making eye contact with her Sweetener self, whereas her thank u next self is not looking at anyone, eyes closed. That's some powerful and meaningful imagery, given the darkness and light in the first two and the balance I feel radiating from Positions. 💡☀🌑
I've been following Ari since her Victorious days. She's grown so much, become stronger, more powerful. She's an icon, a Queen. Ariana has broken countless records, time and time again. She's one of the biggest pop stars, I would say. She's a generational talent, up there with the likes of Miriah Carrey, Amy Winehouse, etc. Positions is my fave song of hers of all time, but I love all her albums! This video is VERY well made and super informative! Thanks for sharing!
Funny thing is, it took me until Dangerous Woman to begin to really pay attention and appreciate Ariana, but when The Trilogy came out and seeing her growth, I truly became a fan. Of The Trilogy, Positions is my favorite album despite the divisiveness in the fandom, I was happy that Ariana was finally happy and she withstood the storms in her life during Sweetener and Thank You, Next eras. Positions was also full fledged R&B Ariana and knowing how emotive and strong her voice is, this was a sound I wanted her explore so badly and finally got it. Also, shoutouts to my hair, love language, off the table, test drive and worst behavior. ✨💚
Omggg finally found someone like me who likes the unique, underrated tracks that don't sound like the rest of the artist's songs!! The light is coming is one of my favorite songs of hers!! The vibe is just so unique and the message is great. I'm a newer fan(became an Arianator in 2019 after listening to bwygib and 7 rings, I used to be a mainstram pop hater and all that) and now I love all her eras and I just love her. I dream that one day I will see her live. I'm also a big rem beauty fan, I buyed all of their stuff and use it everyday, everyday, everyday. 😏 When I first listened to Positions, I felt so good for her, that she finally found the right one, that she's happy, that she's completely in love. Even though most of her discography, just like most music out there, is about love, you can clearly tell the vibes changed from Yours Truly to Positions, how she matured. She's the same Ari but she grew and learned so much, like all of us. Sweetener and Thank u, next are my comfort albums for now tho, as I'm currently healing from my own stuff but maybe one day I'll finally be in my Positions era too, lol.
As someone who loves Ari and Swift, I am all but 13 minutes in, and it dawned on me that Ariana’s Sweetener/TUN may have led way to Taylor’s Folklore/Evermore pair during the pandemic. Love a good Ariana moment though.
Great analysis of Ariana's last 3 albums!! I totally agree with your points about how sweetener and thank u, next were basically dualities of each other or like a part I/part II albums bc the songs are so cohesive with each other and really highlight ari's stage of life during that time. And positions following after was such a refresh and healed album where the music really just hit different and really was an elevated, mature version of dangerous woman. So glad she's found closure, happiness and her own sense of freedom. Really looking forward to what her next album has in store!
25:39 EXACTLY she is happy and we have the most amazing albums of her YET and wicked is gonna be and its her dream. I can't wait see a more theater side of her

i don’t normally cry when watching videos like this but this video made me cry and realize that i truly did pick the right artist to listen to instead of someone else. ariana really has it going for her and i’m so proud to be an arianator🥹🤍
Your video was ON POINT, such a good good video, i really loved it, and you explained so well everything. I see it like, Sweetener is the denial of the pain, Thank u next the acceptance of the pain and finally Positions the healing of the pain, such a crazy, well done, mind-blowing, beautiful and perfect trilogy. Many people sleep on Positions but that album is my ultimate favorite of her, my comfort and safe place album. I hope she's happy now and is enjoying her life, and I can't wait for what's to come, i'm so excited for it. Love you raiana, and love you too for making this good video, wishing you the best.
Ari’s come back is going to break RECORDS. Following the beautiful bittersweet rollout of the Sweetener world tour, and the end of her second trilogy, I just can’t wait for the Wicked era and what comes after it. When you mentioned that she has two trilogies, it clicked that I tend to lean towards her Dangerous woman/ Positions, which are both the closers of her eras. Ariana’s music taught me about how love and being desired, is actually something that is taken for granted.
you articulated this so perfectly also i agree that positions is a special album it’s not surface level at all her having a more “horny” side to her in this album actually shows how comfortable and in love she is in her marriage. she is definitely healed
Tbh I was a huge fan of her during my everything era, as I was around the target audience(ages around 12-13 yrs old) and I kinda fell out of following her after enjoying the dangerous woman album/era. Sweetener didn't click with me at first listen, and besides the music video for NTLTC I didn't care for the era. Yet I was still a little informed in her personal life, as the media would not stop reporting about it, and after the Manchester attack, everyone had their eyes on her. I remember a year or so later, deciding to listen to the TUN album one night while I was going through a depressive episode... and that was the first time I actually felt like her music connected with me on a deep emotional level. After listening to fake smile I genuinely felt she knows what it's like to deal with bad depression and struggle mentally. Growing up and listening to her as an attractive pop singer with her life seemingly-together, I never expected her to ever know what it's like to deal with mental health issues. Songs and albums that are about positives of love don't really appeal or relate to me, and so with songs like NASA, Needy, In my head, and and especially *ghostin* I started to get caught-up with and understand her story at the time. After I had re-surfaced my love for her I found out more about her situation and was actually shocked at how horrible the things she had recently dealt with were. From the situation was with Manchester - to mac miller's addiction causing her to leave him while she still loved him - to dealing with Pete's BPD after the death of mac. When you do research and find out how much she struggled it's insane that she is still alive. The only thing that stopped her from seriously harming herself was antidepressants, friends, family, and most of all, music. Personally, there is no better album to me than TUN. I genuinely think that album saved her life.
amazing analysis. I love positions too! And this whole trilogy is my top Ariana albums. Would love to see an analysis on Eternal Sunshine when it’s out
i hope you make a new video that accompanies AG7 as well. i loved your description of this trilogy and especially noting the symbolism of the cover art and the angel vs devil sides of healing through sweetener and thank u next! as an arianator, i appreciate you for this so much!!! thank u for sharing (literally cried tbh😭💜)
i've been saying this since positions came out. there's nothing quite like the holy trinity. i know how many people worship dangerous woman, but here the real ariana got to shine, even when dealing with the worst life had to give to her. it's just something about the intense feelings that were put in these three albums and all these songs, the way she promoted them, the way she talks about them, the way she sang them... i feel like her first 3 albums showed the way she wanted to present to the world and what she was capable of, and these 3 show who she truly is and how she's not afraid to show it to the world. love the video. finally someone who agrees in a deeper way than just liking the albums lmao
absolutely love this video!!! sweetener is my #1 album from her, due to nostalgia and the amazing era that it brought. i love her sm and i cant wait for her comeback to music!
I loved your video, cried so much, i love her entirely. But i was expecting you to talk about off the table. That is such a powerful song, makes me cry so much.
Off the table is one of the most heartbreaking songs out there, when she explained it, she treated like a just a scary thought and played it off but I think the fact she put this on the album and her attitude in 2019 and some tracks of TUN indicate she was struggling with these kinds thoughts One of the stand out tracks of positions fs
Sweetener and thank u next are some of my favorite albums of all time and one of my favorite Ariana Grande albums and all of the singles deserved to be #1 (I love all of her singles on all of her albums and I feel like they do a good job of getting people to stream and buy the albums). There are not a lot of songs that express the grateful feeling of breakups and I'm grateful for that.
Ariana could’ve pushed the thank u, next album so much further. bloodline, bad idea, in my head and needy could’ve ALL hit #1 on the Hot 100 but she didn’t wanna milk it and quickly let it go. it’s quite sad.

Ari doesn’t really care for all that she just releases music just to release music on her own terms cause that’s what she loves doing 🤷🏽♀️ she doesn’t care for promotion and she don’t need to do that away 🤷🏽♀️
positions is easily her second best album, only second to her sister, dangerous woman imo. i hate how much negativity it got upon release, which clouded peoples want to actually listen to the whole album with their own ears.
I saw her live on her My Everything Tour when I was only 12 years old, it was my first big pop concert ever! I still remember how excited I was and how big of an event this was in my tween years and growing up overall. Remember it like it was yesterday. I’m so happy to see how far she’s come from then and it really felt like growing up with her, been a fan of hers since I was an elementary school kid watching Victorius and Sam and Cat. She’s a real sweetheart, I’m sure. Love her sm and her talent is otherworldly!
thank you next was such a beautiful album, you can definitely feel the emotions in some of the songs especially ghostin. it was my healing album when i was really going through it in life, it will always have a special place in my heart ❤️
Funny how I watched Victorius, listened to Ari's songs, and got all the news about her in all those years, without ever paying so much attention to her generally - yet she has such an impact in my life after all? About a month ago, I became literally obsessed with Ari more than ever, and yeah, I feel a bit sad, I never got a chance to go to a Dangerous Woman or Sweetener concert. I really hope I can come to a concert of hers in the future. Of course, there are controversial things like the many plastic surgeries, and her changing skin colors. However, I think she never did this to harm anyone, but to "find" or "create" herself? However, I appreciate her mature side since the Dangerous Woman era. As someone who has the same height and petit body as her, plus turning 30, I see her as a role model in a certain way. I really appreciate her talent and how far she has come. On the other side, I love her feminine energy (sometimes sexy, sometimes bubbly yet never cheap), her honesty, her creative way of dealing with her demons, and that she isn't afraid to voice her opinions. I'm really thrilled about what she will bring in the future. Thank you so much for this analysis. This came at a perfect time. I really enjoyed it ❤ P.S. As someone who is finally in a secure and healthy relationship, I can't stop listening to "Positions" and I love the message behind that album, I truly feel it through her songs.💓
I think you would be surprised how little plastic surgery she actually has gotten done. I used to think she got a ton too, but if you see the proof online she actually didn’t get that much done. It’s mainly the EXTREME hair, makeup, clothing, and skin color changes that make her look like a completely different person.
Into you is easily my fave song from her! I couldn't get it stuck outta my head when i first heard it in 2016 and i sometimes still listen to it. I also really like most of the sweetener album, as well as the new visuals she was giving in that era
The thank next era is my fav era bc I had so much fun at the time. But positions is her best album imo the best songs are on the delux! And I’m not a slow song fan but loved pov instantly! Be alright turned me onto Ari in 2016 bc I was going through a hard time and it brought hope to me. Since then I was always in sync with her albums
I honestly feel like you are in my brain because the way you think about these albums and her and just the other interests you talk about on UA-cam, i feel like we are very similar but love your videos
This was beautifully made and you’re so well spoken. Thank you for acknowledging Ariana’s discography as the peak example of an artist's growth. From broadway musical-pop inspired music to personal healing to finally finding your self-worth with someone you love, her discography is one of the best. Also, when you said Be Alright was one of your favorites I was so delighted cause that song and breathin’ got me throught a lot of shit lol ps. sweetener, thank u, next and positions are my top 3. Such a good album run.
You missed out on mentioning the Unreleased music that we are all feeding on at the moment and Ari acknowledged it all on her REM beauty video where she does q&a LMAOOO it was so funny tho
I think sweetener is one of her least liked album of the holy trinity but I feel like the people who genuinely listened to it every now and then appreciate it a lot more cuz the music might have grew on them…But music is subjective so I would understand where ppl might necessarily not like certain songs on the album ❤️
But my personal favorite is TUN cuz it’s very viby and every song on that album was well produced ❤️ and I like how TUN the song was literally fresh content right after the break up with PD
wasn’t expecting to watch this entire video but i loved it so much!! i used to be entirely obsessed with ariana but i think subtle digs from my family that her music wasn’t all that great pushed me away from her. although i don’t think i’ll ever return to the level of obsession i used to be at, this video is totally validating for me. she is a really cool artist and person, and her music is awesome!! so there 😌 also, love the pacing and the editing of the video itself. really well done, easy to follow, and engaging. thank you!!

Off the table is one of the most heartbreaking songs out there, when she explained it, she treated like a just a scary thought and played it off but I think the fact she put this on the album and her attitude in 2019 and some tracks of TUN indicate she was struggling with these kinds thoughts
One of the stand out tracks of positions fs
Sweetener and thank u next are some of my favorite albums of all time and one of my favorite Ariana Grande albums and all of the singles deserved to be #1 (I love all of her singles on all of her albums and I feel like they do a good job of getting people to stream and buy the albums). There are not a lot of songs that express the grateful feeling of breakups and I'm grateful for that.
I totally agree with your opinion of Sweetner and Thank U next as sister albums!! I didn’t even realize both album covers had her upside down
Ariana could’ve pushed the thank u, next album so much further. bloodline, bad idea, in my head and needy could’ve ALL hit #1 on the Hot 100 but she didn’t wanna milk it and quickly let it go. it’s quite sad.
she didnt want to be a hypocrite. if she did that instead she would've been lying that she wants to "release music like a rapper"

Ari doesn’t really care for all that she just releases music just to release music on her own terms cause that’s what she loves doing 🤷🏽♀️ she doesn’t care for promotion and she don’t need to do that away 🤷🏽♀️
i don’t think it’s “sad”. she accomplished a lot and earned a lot of money/respect/fans etc 🫶🏽
while I’m not a huge fan of Ariana Grande, I grew up hearing her music and to see her evolved musically is very lovely to see.
What an amazing summary, as a die hard Arianator from day one, its amazing to see all the things I've witnessed with Ari summed up, loved it!
positions is easily her second best album, only second to her sister, dangerous woman imo. i hate how much negativity it got upon release, which clouded peoples want to actually listen to the whole album with their own ears.
Thank u, next deserved multiple grammys
It deserves to win all the nominations it had 😢
Facts the woman didn’t even get one ONE😩 but that’s alright tho cause she doesn’t need them cause she a legendary queen 😍
I really enjoyed it ❤
Positions definitely my fav album from her.
Positions is my favorite album of all time and one of my favorites from Ariana 💯
Needs more respect 😭 it gains so slowly on Spotify 🥺
finally someone who loves position
The thank next era is my fav era bc I had so much fun at the time. But positions is her best album imo the best songs are on the delux! And I’m not a slow song fan but loved pov instantly! Be alright turned me onto Ari in 2016 bc I was going through a hard time and it brought hope to me. Since then I was always in sync with her albums
I honestly feel like you are in my brain because the way you think about these albums and her and just the other interests you talk about on UA-cam, i feel like we are very similar but love your videos
i appreciate this video so much! i’ve been a fan since she was uploading covers on her youtube channel and i will always be with her forever i fear! ❤
This was beautifully made and you’re so well spoken. Thank you for acknowledging Ariana’s discography as the peak example of an artist's growth. From broadway musical-pop inspired music to personal healing to finally finding your self-worth with someone you love, her discography is one of the best. Also, when you said Be Alright was one of your favorites I was so delighted cause that song and breathin’ got me throught a lot of shit lol
ps. sweetener, thank u, next and positions are my top 3. Such a good album run.
Wayne, you and me are best friends at this point lmao. I love this video!
You missed out on mentioning the Unreleased music that we are all feeding on at the moment and Ari acknowledged it all on her REM beauty video where she does q&a LMAOOO it was so funny tho
Crying. Screaming. Love her so much
I think sweetener is one of her least liked album of the holy trinity but I feel like the people who genuinely listened to it every now and then appreciate it a lot more cuz the music might have grew on them…But music is subjective so I would understand where ppl might necessarily not like certain songs on the album ❤️
But my personal favorite is TUN cuz it’s very viby and every song on that album was well produced ❤️ and I like how TUN the song was literally fresh content right after the break up with PD
Sweetener is a fan favourite now. At first everyone hated it but now it’s loved
@@Gabes1321 ohh yeah sweetener is also my go to comfort album hehe🔥
Its a crime. Sweetener was my fav when it came out and still is. I thought people love sweetener, it has the best aesthetics imo
i needed this, legit needed to feel better watching someones journey, makes me want to heal n get better
I love your Ariana grande videos! She’s so talented and I cannot wait for wicked & ag7 (whenever that comes out)
i love how you analyze ariana’s iconic eras. you’re so articulate and good with words.
wasn’t expecting to watch this entire video but i loved it so much!! i used to be entirely obsessed with ariana but i think subtle digs from my family that her music wasn’t all that great pushed me away from her. although i don’t think i’ll ever return to the level of obsession i used to be at, this video is totally validating for me. she is a really cool artist and person, and her music is awesome!! so there 😌 also, love the pacing and the editing of the video itself. really well done, easy to follow, and engaging. thank you!!
My favorite artist ❤ proud her her healing journey
This video was so well planned out, I really enjoyed it x
sweetener will always be my favorite album from her, loved the pharrell beats😩🔥
Ughh, LOVE this video. such a good analysis, and the visuals/the cut. is so good. thank u, next (video)! definitely subscribing!
I absolutely love this video. Sweetener tun and positions are all so important to me and this really just shows what those albums represent. ❤
Thank you so much for giving us an overview of her journey so far, I’m a huge fan of Ari and I’ve been looking for a video like this for a while. Also I find your voice so soothing!

THE KING OF YT HAS POSTED......and i was sleep,,,,,,,, but regardless the way you explained and talking about the trilogy of healing from ups to downs was exactly how i perceived it, another perfect video Wayne

Yessssss! Just like video games, we live for a remaster and remix 😂👏🏽! Very smart to give your audience choices. Been following you since the Albums video. Definitely will watch this again as I enjoy your editing style and the way you illustrate with your words. Keep it up! 🔥💯
why did i cry
if positions was the last album she were to drop before stopping, i'd be happy with it honestly
i was thinking this same thought yesterday, it represents the end goal of healing and being at peace with life🫧🥹.
ill never get tired of your ariana grande videos lol
