I’ve been looking at this game for a while - love pirate themed games - so thanks for the overview/review. Games with solo mode gets bonus points - can’t always get a group together!
We loved Dead Reckoning. It is also great how you can slowly insert the expansion Saga content into the game without doing a complete campaign. Letters of the Marque expansion seems to add a little too much for our taste from reading the rule book. I'm curious your opinions on the expansions. Thank you for this great content.
Thanks for checking it out! I have the Sea Dogs mini-expansion but so far that’s the only one. I’m looking forward to getting this to the table again but learning a new game every week can delay revisiting the old ones!
Phenomenal game. I have played a good amount and it is a ton of fun as a solo game as it forces you to react. The gameplay alone is just worth it.
You can’t sit back against the AI, since it’s constantly running around taking things!

The solo mode can be tailored to be as hard as you want.
