I was watching your 250ex video and you showed the melted piston and said the whole motor was blown. I'm looking at buying a 400ex that has the whole top end off already. Its just the rod sticking up, it does come with the old head and piston and everything. I was just planning on wiggling the rod to see if the bottom end was good but will that tell the whole story? What would you look for? I will have the old piston to look at as well.
