It’s ok to have a low target, as long as you take it easy on the way there! I stopped 10 pounds above my goal because I had lost lots of body fat and was already as thin as I wanted to be; but if I had only dieted without exercising, and had a higher body fat %, I would have had to get to a lower weight to be the same size. It sucks when you start, because you’re still uncomfortable in your body *and* making changes without seeing an immediate payoff. Find low calorie treats that you can have regularly (savory or sweet, whatever you actually enjoy), figure out fun ways to drink water (i like zero calorie sweetened electrolyte powders), and think of ways to move-if you hate the gym and haven’t found an activity you enjoy, consider that several short walks throughout the day can easily add up to more calories burnt than one longer walk, cleaning your room/house and doing laundry while listening to a fun podcast or audiobook is also movement, and watching tv or UA-cam while walking briskly on a treadmill is a pleasant way to multitask. Basically, you need to strike a balance-lose weight fast enough that you don’t get impatient, but slow enough that the changes you make to get there are sustainable. I don’t need to lose weight since I’m at a healthy weight but I really enjoy the topic of healthy eating and caring about my body. I used to struggle with an ed and deprive myself of nutrients so watching videos like this where it breaks everything down and shows how important taking care of ourself is really keeps me on track with not restricting or harming my body! Food is fule and calories shouldn’t be scary!
i’m currently in the plateau stage of losing weight 😂 (my height is 160cm, started 64kg on dec ‘23 and ended up at 57kg by june ‘24 and it hasn’t gone down since then while my target is actually 55kg so my BMI will be 21ish). and yeah basically everything in the video is correct! I rarely did exercise back then, but now i’m doing pilates 3-4x/week and having daily walks as well and it’s helped so much. ✨patience✨ really is key guys.
Not at me literally starting my gym era just now and wondering if I’m doing things right 😮 Dear peachie back at it again with great timing, thank youuuu 🙏
I still hate the focus/click bait of 'losing weight' but I appreciate the focus on a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. I started going to the gym this year, taking pretty intensive weights classes 2-3x a week. It's so funny, after suffering the first 2 months or so, I noticed I naturally began rejecting a lot of unhealthy foods (namely chips, deep fried things unless it's protein like fried chicken, processed sweets like cookies, and cutting out alcohol 100%). Instead of active craving or passive accepting those kinds of foods when they were available, now I actively avoid them most of the time. I think my body realized, those kinds of foods just cannot give me the energy and nutrition I need. And if I eat those foods, then try to go through a workout, I just...can't make it through. Or, if I eat those foods after a workout, I realize it takes me twice as long to recover.
thank you for providing positive and scientifically accurate information. the amount of toxic misinformation out there is immense and no doubt more eye-catching, because everyone wants to lose weight quick and easy.
Same, I just bought a pretty cheap treadmill off Walmart. A simple 100-200 dollar one instead of those high end ones. I'm seeing a huge difference, long way to go but still.
My family is the most judgemental ever, they always make comments and remarks on people on the street. But i have never seen them once say anything about runners:) we all just see a person jogging and move on with our day.
you can try walking. if you set a goal to run 5k steps then walk 5k or 10k ( because running is more tiring than walking, you might want to double the steps so you might lose the same amount of fat )
This is superb, I really want to thank you for the amount of research, atenttion to detail and highlight your care and responsability to your audience in something that can be a very delicate subject for many.
Peachie I'd love it if you could make a similar video fir weight gain. It's been a huge struggle for me to try gain weight and get into a healthy weight class when almost all resources are focused loosing weight and any advice for gaining is just "eat more". Your videos are always so well researched and put together I think it'd be soo helpful❤
I think that as long as you dont feel unhealthy and feel full after you eat, you should be fine! But if you’re really that skinny, i think you should also still work out. Not to lose weight, but to gain muscle mass, so you’ll be heavier and stronger. Exercising more (but not overexerting yourself) is a good thing no matter what your goal is
The calorie information is also accurate in reverse. Calculate your TDEE and add 250-500 calories per day to gain 0.5-1 pound per week. Add fat to your diet whenever you can (it is the most calorie-dense macronutrient)-nut butters, high-fat dairy if you consume it, smaller amounts of complex carbohydrates and raw veggies because they’re high in fiber and will make you feel full much more quickly. Reduce cardio as much as possible. Stay active and keep up lifting, yoga, Pilates, etc. but try to minimize both LISS and HIIT cardio as they burn the most calories.
dear peachie, you never dissapoint! 🥰 I've been waiting to lose weight since a long time and I hope I'll be able to finally achieve my goal. I'm 62 kgs at 162cm and my goal weight is 55-57 kgs. I'm very unfit bc I've been sedentary most of my life, and I really want to change that.
most of this i already knew but thank you for this video, because i hope more people get to see this and change their perspective if they have been carrying unhealthy mindsets around diets and weight loss. i never knew the science behind the diet trends though, which was interesting to learn! incorporating casual exercise into your daily routine is the easiest and most efficient exercise you can do, from my experience. e.g. i park in a lot further away from my workplace, so i have to walk 15 mins each way when i go to work. and at my workplace, i always take the stairs to our floor instead of the elevator. these things are small but consistent, and consistency is the most important thing about exercise. just wanted to share to help others get started on thinking how to start being more active
A few days ago I started my weight loss journey with my sister and mom. I’m not sure what their goal is, but mine is 140 (or more). I want to be more healthier and get better at sports. Today I’m trying to walk 10k steps, eat less and focus on the important things.
Peachie, you‘re saving my life right now! I went on BC and my hunger has been all consuming. I need a meal plan asap! The way you convey information and tell everyone to prioritize mental health is why you’re the o.g. You can‘t efficiently loose weight if you lose your mind at the same time!
The timing... I started doing light cardio, eating clean, and lifting weights after over a decade of sedentary lifestyle. I'm happy about getting stronger and hurting less, but my weight scale hasn't budged... I better pay attention.
Honestly, diet is the most important factor for weightloss. Calories, high protein and consistency. Making junk food higher in protein and lower on fat and still being able to eat "nachos" but have it help me has been great lol. I'm down 120 pounds, I have 15 to go. I use exercise to increase my appetite and up my muscle mass/ lower my bf%... starting weight training now (push, pull, legs 2x weekly each zone) and found super fun cardio (stand up paddle board, walking the dog, dance dance revolution lol). Exercise entered my plan after losing over 100 pounds and developing healthy eating habits before jumping to working out
By the way, it's also important to surround yourself with positive people. I tell you, I had a friend who was a gym nut, literally calorie deficit, protein shakes, and gym everyday. I am glad that he encourages healthy living, but his encouragements came with building comments of body dysmorphia. He used to be overweight, yet he glamorizes the healthy body fitness so much, he pokes a little too much fun with gaining weight and praises losing weight too much. I think all of us had those s33mingly unharmful comments of "oh you're getting fat again" and " oh hey you lost weight! You look hotter now.". It's not great, its a weird feeling of 'am i happy with that?' and 'oh im not enough when i wasnt losing weight'. So if you are going with this goal of losing weight, do surround yourself with people who support you without those side comments. PEOPLE WHO LOVES YOU BEFORE,DURING AND AFTER, OR JUST EVEN STRANGERS WHO JUST SAYS GOOD JOB KEEP GOING BRO.
Thanks for this video! Lost about 13 kilograms since late march mostly by intermittent fasting and exercise - its true that it can be super hard if you dont eat meals that make you full when you cant eat. Also there are plenty of plateaus (at least for me) I thought my weight loss was fast but now it seems like losing 13 in almost 6 months is slow lmao. Good luck in your weight loss journeys everyone!!!
@@sabihakhanfuggi9808 the first time i added exercises (a workout app giving you a daily exercise set that lasts about 15 minutes) then after that when i got another one i limited my fast hours from 14 hrs of fast and 10 eating window to 16 fast and 8 eating window and i increased my amount of exercise to include some abs/thigh exercises (areas i wanted to lose weight in the most) the app i used is called Exercises for Women or something like that (non native english idk the english name for it) and its on google play store. I assume you can also break a plateau easier by eliminating fast foods or foods with lots of sugar too, i definitely eat them a lot less but i didnt quit it entirely. Hope it helped
More than 1kg-2kg per month of weight loss can damage your metabolism and in some cases even damage your fertility, organs and your hormones. Your weight loss is perfect right now, any more and you can harm yourself. And you can get stretch marks too.
Hey I’m 5 feet and I was 132 pounds three months ago! I’m 121 now, shooting for 105-110. All I did to lose weight consistently was intermittent fast (I usually fast for more then 16 hours), drink apple cider vinegar with green tea (helped with cravings and digestion aka helped me go to the bathroom LMAO), and exercised. I also ate a lot of veggies in home cooked meals but I still ate sweet food too in moderation! Try intermittent fasting if you haven’t yet, it helped me break my plateau
If you do a lot of walking/standing at work it counts as exercice! I walk a total of 8-10 km a workday (8-9h a day), so sitting down/ relaxing is something to look forward to during freetime hours
Please make a video for skinny fat. I'm 18 and underweight but i still have thick thighs and huge belly fat. I hate my belly fat sm! @@HappyDokja you can do easily you will stop eating junk for 6 days of week and limit some sugar intake as well. On the 7th day of the week only have one meal of your choice/junk and rest of the day basic home-cooked food. And try to achieve 10k steps daily. Start with 2k then try to reach 5k in a week. The gradually move up to 10k steps in a day. 1. Avoid junk food 6 days of the week and if you fail in between start again don't sit in guilt. 2. Limit your sugar. Eat fruits dates and jaggery but avoid white sugar. 3. 10k steps daily You will easily lose the 5kg in 3 months even before that if you stay consistent most days. Eat more carbs but from starchy vegetables, not from ultra process foods. Eat more beans, corn, rice, more fruits but in moderation (they contain sugar = carbs). Eat natural oils too, like eating fatty meat, instead of lean meat (enjoy the flavor), avocados, nuts. Just don't eat too much of those things and eat them in moderation, carbs increase your appetite so, be careful to only increase enough to earn 1kg per month so you can still control your weight without affecting future weight.

Remember girlies, skinny ≠ healthy. Make smart choices based on what fits your lifestyle, life is about having diverse experiences and giving back to the world. How you look is a small part of what makes you you and what makes your existence worthwhile, don't let the pursuit of a look limit your experience of life. What does your most able and useful version look like? Try to look like that.

I’m 14 and about 167cm btw and understand I’m not fully grown yet so there’s no rush
YOU SHOULD HAVE THIS BASIC FORMULA WHILE LOSING WEIGHT! [Basically if you r confused regarding how much weight you should loose] if ur bmi is above normal, then include more cardio to burn those excess weight if ur bmi is normal, then stick to a mixture of strength training and cardio [ strength training like pilates is really necessary if u dont wanna fall below normal bmi range. it also helps u to look toned] nd if ur bmi is below normal, then u should do more strength training [ as it increases ur muscle mass which will mean that u ll gain healthy weight nd not just fat] TRUST ME THIS REALLY WORKS becuz nowadays ppl have just complicated the meaning of losing and gaining weight that they forget the actual definition this vdo was really helpful as it provides the basic meanings without following any fancy diets and vigorous workout routines
I’m still stuck at 56/57 I really want to reach 50, my height is 160 cm I know I have a healthy weight but I just hate my thighs, I’m giving myself 5 months to reach my goal, today is my first I finished working out (1 hour and half) and going back on track regarding my diet ( I gave myself 5 months so I can reach my goal in the month of my bday)
The most effective method for me is intermittent fasting. I only eat from 11 am to 3 pm. It's easier than you think because I eat two meals within that 4 hours. I don't work out. I have many cheat days. I don't feel guilty when I extend my eating window to up to 8 hours. I eat whatever I want. I always eat orange papaya before meals, though, for fiber, and it helps that it's my absolute most favourite fruit. It's only hard during the first 4 days. Then you just forget about it as your body gets used to it.
actually, low intense exercises is better for FAT burn then the high intense one. you want to burn fat not just calories, if u burn just calories, the fat will take more time to go away!
I do intermittent fasting for almost 2 months. And i change diet to real food and no sweet drink, last i exercise 3 times a week.. Walking 5 km, 10.000 steps, and slowly increase to running. My weight loss is slowly down but if don't do fasting my weight still in track. I do wet fasting 4days a week 20-23 hours a day. In other day i do short fasting only 10 -15hours..but i call it no fasting day 😆😆
im 5'3 and over the summer i gained around 10 kgs even though i was walking much more than usual i was already trying to loose weight and ended up gaining weight and it out me in a super bad mental place. I usually wear a small or medium and i wanna loose enough weight for a noticeable difference but not enough that my clothes wont fit me anymore.
This video should include a disclaimer for what if you‘re obese because of a health condition ? Lipedema, Pcos for example are incredibly common and for those people it’s not enough to do all the tips, they need treatment.

@@aeri_taylors-version your starting weight is my current lowest and we are the same height! haha...dont worry you are doing great
THE WAY SHE EXPLAINED THE FIT IS EVERYTHING
THANK YOU, DEAR PEACHIE!!! As always, you are well-researched. I respect and admire your dedication.
THE QUEEN HAS POSTED
This was such a refreshing take on this topic bc there was no shaming, just facts and tips. Thank you❤
the only channel i'll trust with this kinda topic ♡
I want to start running at least once a week cause I'm sooo bad at running and so embarrassed to run public!! What should I do? 😓
@14fla same I hate running in public but I think walking is best go for walks it helps a lot
How does dear peachie always know exactly what I need at the right time 🥰
This is the best vid I've watched about weight loss. Thank you so much!
Same ☠️
Honestly, diet is the most important factor for weightloss.
Also there are plenty of plateaus (at least for me)
I thought my weight loss was fast but now it seems like losing 13 in almost 6 months is slow lmao. Good luck in your weight loss journeys everyone!!!
Hey how did you break weight loss plateaus
@@sabihakhanfuggi9808up your calorie intake for a few days. kind of a like a metabolism day. have a metabolism week, if at that. start a zig-zag diet.
@@emilysparke2591 what times and how long were your fasting periods?
Babe wake up, Dear Peachie just posted!
Im 132 pounds at 5 feet, which makes me overweight. I've been trying to get healthier, to no avail lol. This video boost my motivation to lose weight!
i'm a few inches taller than u at the same weight. let's do this!!
Try intermittent fasting if you haven’t yet, it helped me break my plateau
i needed this so bad 😭 thanks for posting on this topic
If you do a lot of walking/standing at work it counts as exercice! I walk a total of 8-10 km a workday (8-9h a day), so sitting down/ relaxing is something to look forward to during freetime hours
Just in time! I'm looking for tips to improve my health, I've already started with sleep, now it's weight and nutrition 🍉
Right when I needed this 😭😭😭
Perfect Timing!! Love you Peachie
Please make a video for skinny fat. I'm 18 and underweight but i still have thick thighs and huge belly fat. I hate my belly fat sm! Seeing ppl my age who don't have belly fat or thick thighs makes me pretty insecure about myself. I have no idea what to do. So making a video regarding this would be pretty helpful!! Your videos are very helpful 🤍.
Ps: English is not my first language :3
dear paechie has posted?? And about weight lossss??? LETS GOOOOO literally perfect timing too omg
I want to loose 10kg in three months :)
I will update u guys & will only eat healthy food & not count calories. I will do 150min of Vigorous intensity and two Pilates sessions every week.
-> that means 20min Jump Roping, Dancing or Biking everyday
-> on sat and sun one Pilates Session extra
My breakfast will prob be
-Oatmeal with Fruits and Soymilk
My lunch will be bread (best is whole grain bread) with Creme cheese and vegetable.
For dinner I eat whatever my family cooks (in medium sized portion)
Snacks: Fruit or Vegetable
Starting Date: 26. September
Ending/ Final Weight Check Date: 26. December
@@LaetitziaJonas I also would like to start exercising. I planned to lost 5 kg in 3 months. I just want to be consistent 😭😅
3. 10k steps daily
You will easily lose the 5kg in 3 months even before that if you stay consistent most days. Trust me I am saying this from experience.
how ist it going? :)
Omg im actually trying to lose weight and stumble upon ur new video. Love it
peachie saving my life once again 😩😩
Hey, your video on( guide to hair care) helped me alot..Thank u for that🌸🌸 need a guide video on skin care too. I'm desperately waiting.

I’m so glad to see this video because I have big problem with loosing weight. I have a normal weight but because of model I see I always try to loose weight and I'm afraid of becoming anorexic because of this ! So i’m so happy and I wanna thank you 😊
ilysm u help me answer the questions i needed!!! this is my starting point thankuu!! 🎀🎀 wish me luck 😻
First off thank you for these videos, peachy ❤! Could you please do a video on how to gain healthy weight for underweight skinny people in the right places.
I love watching your videos..no matter what the topic is! there is always a motivation for me. Thank u so much dear peachies.
I got a cheap body fat scale from Kmart and it’s nice and consistent! Even shows muscle, water and bone percentage and the amount of calories to eat to maintain that physique. They don’t have to cost $6000
losing weight becomes 10x harder when u had an eating disorder 🙄🙄 i hate it here
Just got the notification saying "dear peachie posted a new video" and I thought damn I wish it was about weight loss I would really need it AND ONLY THEN WHEN I CLICKED ON IT, IT ACTUALLY WAS WEIGHT LOSS WTF IS THIS A SIGN
Im 5'3 and my current weight is 50 kgs and my goal is 42 kgs so ill keep updating!!
1st month-
Peachie your a life saver- 🥰
could you maybe also make a video about gaining weight in a healthy way for girls like me who have trouble gaining weight?
Eat more carbs but from starchy vegetables, not from ultra process foods. Eat more beans, corn, rice, more fruits but in moderation (they contain sugar = carbs). Eat natural oils too, like eating fatty meat, instead of lean meat (enjoy the flavor), avocados, nuts. Just don't eat too much of those things and eat them in moderation, carbs increase your appetite so, be careful to only increase enough to earn 1kg per month so you can still control your weight without affecting future weight.
@@Valentina.Montano thanks for the advice girly
Just wait a few years. Your metabolism will get slower as you get older
@@raygin6581 i cant wait that long, i cant stay underweight for more years😭
I'm the heaviest I've ever been in my entire life at 152 cm and 90 kgs. I was waiting for a stomach problem to heal before embarking on my weight loss journey, i know it's not gonna be easy but wish me luck. Also surprisingly I don't look fat but I feel it on my knees and feet. Good luck to me and anyone else starting out.
Honestly I'm a little underwhelmed this time. There's nothing we haven't heard about weight loss already
I have approximately 72kg and 168cm. I want to try to reach 58/60kg by January. I don't know if I'll be able to do it, but I'll try my best. 😊 Remind me to come back in January to tell you the results. 🙃
I'm doing intermittent fasting on the weekends and doing HIIT workouts along with Kazuha's abs and Giselle's leg workouts at home 4 times a week, I'm also trying to eat better
I LOVE YOUUU i love your tips i watch a lot of your vids😍
Hello sis, can you actually make one video for people who want to gain weight? since there's not much good detailed videos for such topics, I'll be grateful ❤😊
Please a video on skincare ❤
Video for dark circles pleasee 🥺🥺💗
Dear Peachie they could never make me hate you
HOW DO YOU GUYS ALWAYS KNOW 😭😭💗💗
Remember girlies, skinny ≠ healthy.
Hi new subscriber here...
I'm just tired of being lazy n fat.
So I have decided to change myself for my own good.
The video is really informative.
Thank you, I am giving my 100%
this time
Omg I really wanted to lose weight this time. I'm taking this video as a sign from universe ❤
Green Smoothie only fasting & dancing to your favorite songs is very effective way to barely take in calories & be active 🌿💃🏽
this got recommended to me with a video right next to it which was a recipe on making french fries.
15:32 reminds me of my class 9th IT textbook that we had to study along with ncert
21:56 A safe alternative is to eat more fiber or take fiber supplements which will keep you full.
I stuggle with food senitivites due to autim so I take fiber supplents like glucomannan.
I no longer binge on my safe foods since I added fiber supplements
Who much of the fiber supplement do you take and when? Cuz I definitely need more fiber in my diet
Perfect timing 🥳
Dear Peachie Can you make a video on skinny fat 🙏 ❤
also go on holiday guys, reaching 10,000 steps is really easy as you’re always walking somewhere. I started the summer at a fluctuation of 54-56 kg and I came back 51 kg lmao I’m solid consistent 53 kg now even though I do more than the amount of recommended moderate intensity workout in the video , I don’t skip meals either
my goal weight is gonna follow the vid so about 47.7 kg and remind me to update you !! I’m 14 and about 167cm btw and understand I’m not fully grown yet so there’s no rush
R u a mind reader?💗💗💗💗💗💗💗 thank youuuu💗💗💗💗💗
Wowww please make more of theseeee❤❤
can you make one video for weight gain also?❤
I needed this lol
Thanks for sharing with us
Dear pls make video on how to look tall for short women and also with modesty as i'm muslim pls❤
Wear one/similar colour for tops + bottoms + shoes, it will lengthen your body line and make you look taller
YOU SHOULD HAVE THIS BASIC FORMULA WHILE LOSING WEIGHT!
[Basically if you r confused regarding how much weight you should loose]
if ur bmi is above normal, then include more cardio to burn those excess weight
if ur bmi is normal, then stick to a mixture of strength training and cardio
[ strength training like pilates is really necessary if u dont wanna fall below normal bmi range. it also helps u to look toned]
nd if ur bmi is below normal, then u should do more strength training
[ as it increases ur muscle mass which will mean that u ll gain healthy weight nd not just fat]
TRUST ME THIS REALLY WORKS
becuz nowadays ppl have just complicated the meaning of losing and gaining weight that they forget the actual definition
this vdo was really helpful as it provides the basic meanings without following any fancy diets and vigorous workout routines
❤thank you so much
actually, low intense exercises is better for FAT burn then the high intense one. you want to burn fat not just calories, if u burn just calories, the fat will take more time to go away!
In other day i do short fasting only 10 -15hours..but i call it no fasting day 😆😆
Any video to gain weight? I know a lot of people who struggle with being underweight and would want that content!
Please make a vedio how can we gain weight
NEED ONE FOR WEIGHT GAIN PLEASEEEEEE
im 5'3 and over the summer i gained around 10 kgs even though i was walking much more than usual i was already trying to loose weight and ended up gaining weight and it out me in a super bad mental place. I usually wear a small or medium and i wanna loose enough weight for a noticeable difference but not enough that my clothes wont fit me anymore.
I can tell peachie studied physiology at some point in college or university 😅
Can you do a video on Gaining weight
This video should include a disclaimer for what if you‘re obese because of a health condition ? Lipedema, Pcos for example are incredibly common and for those people it’s not enough to do all the tips, they need treatment.
This is just general advice, it doesn't have to be specific. If you have those conditions then do your own damn research
Healthy diet, healthy living habits
Thank you so much❤❤
Anyone wanna be weight loss buddies so we can hold ourselves accountable and share tips (e.g. workouts, meals)? ❤
