      I know right?My wallet hurts everytime somebody sells the marketing term "budget" on everything nowadays,while skinning your wallet at the same time.It would have been more accurate to term it as "budget" but I think everyone by now knows that this doesnt mean what it used to literally mean anymore as society bought the marketing teams pipe dream long ago.Cheers buddy 💪

    I ordered mine a couple of days ago. Upgrading from a 3080 ti, playing at 3440x1440p and will combine it with a 5800x3d and a 850w PSU :) thanks for the review, subbed!

      Really cool upgrade path bud,and great system overall.Do take care with the PSU because it seems a little small for the configuration.If you experience power cutoffs then you will have to change the PSU but other then that if it works then more power to you and once again sweet setup you got yourself.Cheers buddy and enjoy it 👏.Thank you for the sub,really appreciated 😀

      @@arsletirott Unfortunately for me(and I should have known better) I had this exact issue.I didn't follow the golden 20% rule when calculating the PSU requirements and when I maxed out my previous PSU,I would get random PC crashes.Even though on paper it seemed within specs...I was actually needing a bigger PSU.Just remember keep on eye out and please always make time to randomly check you GPU Power connectors as they have a tendency to melt (Geeez,thanks Nvidia 🙄🙄🙄)Cheers buddy

    So this version of 4090 is fine to get? It's one of the cheapest, and I'll be limiting the TDP anyway(that should help with longetivity right?)

    • @Tech_Fusion
      @Tech_Fusion  Рік тому +5

      Hi buddy, Well yeah this is the 4090 to get if you are not interested in all the bling associated with fancy LED and maybe some "metal" front plate.This is quite bare bones but will get you 100% of the performance with maybe 30-50% of the costs of other variants.Limiting the TDP will theoretically increase its life for sure but the one thing to watch out for is the dreaded power connector.Make sure its plugged in all the way and it clicks and dont mess around with it afterwards as this still seems to be an issue.No excuses for this at this price point if you ask me but this is the world we live in and all that we can do is to vote with our wallets even when we want the new shinny things.Cheers buddy 💪💪💪

    Bought this monster 2 days ago and now waiting for it to arrive in the mail, I got a 12900KF from Intel, so i think it should work quite well, although i am aware the 13900K would be the perfect match for it, maybe later...
    For me, this card ended up costing $2100, which in my country is the 2nd cheapest version...

    Great video man! 😁 I'm thinking of getting this exact card, due to it being the cheapest 4090 available in my country (goes for around 1600 euro). I have a AMD Ryzen 5 5600x processor and a 850w PSU, so I think I'm good to go? I'd be going for 1440p, 144hz ultra settings, which is what my current monitor can do, shouldn't be a problem for this beast of a GPU. I just wanted to ask, have you noticed any coil whine with this model? I know some 4090 are plagied by it 😶

    • @Tech_Fusion
      @Tech_Fusion  Рік тому +1

      Hi buddy and thank you!Great GPU choice if you ask me as this is a true work horse with some really impressive raw power to deliver.Sure you could call it cheaper but come on...its nothing close to cheap at 1600 Euros.But this are the times we live in and sure enough for another model with more bling(aka, led's) you would have to pay some 300-500 Euros more witch is nuts.The PSU seems to be quite enough and you should be running with no issue.Keep in mind I was using a 750W PSU with a Ryzen 9 3900X and still had some overhead as this GPU only draws around 300Watts at its peak output.As per the coil whine, there was some noise but not a game breaker.If I were to keep my PC on my desk at a distance of around an arms lengh away with its glass panel removed then I could hears a small coil whine but mostly it would be drowned by the fan noises from my AIO and PC case.But if I were to keep the glass panel on then I would hear a thing coming from this GPU.So overall I was quite happy with its performance, looks and specially with its efficiency.Cheers buddy and enjoy it to the max! 💪💪💪💪

    • @Blight_89
      @Blight_89 Рік тому

      @Tech_Fusion Really appreciate the detailed answer 🙏 And yeah, 500 euro more for some shiny lights is just ridiculous 😂 I'll never understand those manufacturer price gaps, I mean it's basically the exact same card 🙄 Just one more question, do you think I can get away with using my Ryzen 5 5600x? I won't have enough funds for a new processor 😵 My aim is a smooth 1440p, 144 FPS with ultra settings

    • @Tech_Fusion
      @Tech_Fusion  Рік тому +1

      @@Blight_89 I always try my best to answer as fast and as detailed as I can.They main issue is not only that the price gap is so big but also there are issues like the the power connectors still melting and some are worst as they even have cracking PCB's over time....Yeah I mean you Gigabyte...Anyways,by my own experience the CPU you are using could be a bottleneck even for 1440p but it comes down to the games you are running.For instance my 3900X is a bottleneck for 1440p and 4K gaming with Hoghwarts Legacy but not with other titles so although you might have an issue,you could as well get away with it depending on what games you run.But even you run into issues I really dont think that they will render your whole gaming experience to a halt.You might loose some FPS but I think you will still more then happy with the combo.Cheers buddy and I would honestly apreciate some feedback once you get settled in with your setup.💪💪💪

    • @Tech_Fusion
      @Tech_Fusion  11 місяців тому

      Well this CPU takes some 190W at max turbo and some 125 as a baseline.This combined with the TDP of the 4090 of around 300W So then you 750W PSU should be more then enough buddy with enough buffer.Cheers buddy 💪💪
