WOW! Simply magnificent! The colors are stunning but that crackle came out so beautiful. You're to be applauded for all the fine detail work you put into those beads! That's why your work is always gorgeous! It's a step above the rest.
Good evening my friend! Thanks so much. I always love hearing from you. As always, thanks for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😘
I have that same one step Crackle. It says to dry but not how long so I let it dry overnight. When I applied paint, it never crackled. You only let it dry for an hour. I used it on wood. Did I let it dry too long?
It may be too cold where you are. The wood shouldn't effect the outcome, but the cold will. Hit it with a blow dryer or a heat gun, that should give you some nice cracks. Try it on a sample piece of wood, so you don't mess up a project.
It was in my craft room at 70 degrees. I did use the dryer, didn’t work. I even sprayed it with hairspray ( I was desperate) heated it but no cracks. I had more success with glue for heavens sake. I do get so discouraged sometimes.
That's really odd. Is your bottle of crackle old? Maybe you need to put it on thicker. You did paint, then crackle, then paint again... right? It should have worked. Let me try it on a piece of wood and see what happens. I'll get back to you. 🤗
You are given me different things to do and me Kaye-Lee and Molly Brown thank you from Austin Texas 😂

I hadn’t seen any videos from you in a while and wondering why. In my watch history I saw the glass video from two days ago but I never got notification. You’re still on my subscriptions list. The bell is on, all is as it should be. Hope it doesn’t happen again because I love your work and don’t want to miss anything you do.
Good morning my dear friend! I was wondering why I haven't heard from you. I was worried that you were sick. I did take a couple of weeks off during Christmas. I needed a little bit of a mental break. I'll be releasing a video every other week from now on. I normally upload Wednesdays at 8:00 am pacific time. This week, I was running late and didn't release until the evening on Wednesday. But I plan to go back to releasing at 8:00 am. I'm working on a couple of really interesting projects, that I'll think you'll love 😍 It was so good to hear from you, Happy New Year my friend 😘
@@masoncreationsetc I did get Covid in December and went through hell. Mostly my energy level went out the window and I didn't much care about anything. I'm fine now and wondered why I wasn't getting your videos, thinking maybe you were sick or taking a long Christmas break. I bought the glass ornaments, flat ones, like you had in your video but will do them next year. Your artistic influence is so great that I have to do what you publish. Resolution this year is to clean out this craft room, ugh, so that's what I'm busy doing. When I saw your last video on the home page, I looked at my list of incoming videos and you weren't there. It looked fabulous, as usual. I'll try to adjust to videos every other week, but it'll be difficult. In the end your health is more important than anything else. Your videos mean the world to me, they inspire, they teach, they are perfect. Thanks for worrying about me, but you take care. You bring beauty into my world.
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear you had covid. I had it last year in February. I actually didn't get real sick with it. I didn't feel well for about 3 days and then I was fine. It did take a little bit of time to get my energy level 100% though. I'm glad to hear you're feeling better now.
I find that I can produce better videos if I do one every other week. Every week is pretty difficult. The minute you get done with one, you have to start the next one immediately. It can be pretty exhausting if you go for any length of time. I don't want the videos to suffer. But during any holidays, I'll probably do one a week for a limited time period. It's time to start some Valentine videos. Anything special you'd like to see? Let me know, I'll do something special just for you 🤗
That’s so nice of you to ask me. In all honesty, your imagination runs way beyond mine. If anything, it has to be functional, Victorian, gooey romantic, lots of filigree adornment with themes like first love, engagements or weddings. Maybe an 8x10 canvas with a banner somewhere on it so you can fit two names of the people who are receiving it. See why I can’t do anything? My head is all over the place!! We’ve done the cans, bottles, jars, etc. maybe an ornament for their first tree! It’s up to you, I love everything you do. I’ll be waiting! No pressure, huh? Lol 😂
I like the idea of the Victorian, gooey romantic theme. Let's see what I can come up with and get inspired with 💖

So beautiful and detailed work!!!
I am thinking of painting and napkin decoupage a clear glass vase which I would like to use for real flowers. (The vase will come in contact with water)
What materials do I need to use so that all materials remain in tact.
Hi there! Thank you and I'm happy you enjoyed this video! You'll need to use a finish varnish that's waterproof. Polyvine heavy duty extreme would be what you'll need. I'm going to leave you a link below. It's formulated for exterior use, so it can definitely withstand a vase where it would get minimal amounts of water. You're going to paint the outside of the vase, and not the interior, correct? You can't leave it in standing water or put it in a dishwasher. But water running over it will not hurt at all. As long as the interior of the vase remains unpainted glass, you'll be golden! I decoupaged a clay pot using the Extreme and I have a live plant in it that gets watered, and it's holding up fine. I'm going to leave you a link for the video where I decoupaged the clay pot. I think it will be helpful for you. I used the Extreme as my decoupage adhesive as well. It works much better than mod podge. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖

Hi there!
Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message. Happy New Year 🍾🥂
Thank you for sharing. Can I ask what you are spraying into your gold rub to soften it? Mine gets hard and I dont know what to use. Thank you!
Hi Carrie
I'm spraying a little plain old water on it. Mine gets hard as a rock. The water works great. Once it gets hard, you'll need to spray it every time you use it though. But it's better than throwing it away. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message. Happy New Year 🍾🥂
@@masoncreationsetc Thank you; I wondered if it was alcohol or something; I will try that!
Hi Carrie
Yep, just water will do the trick. 😊

Hi Cora, Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖
after applying crackle medium, does it need to dry and then we have to apply top coat ???
Hi there! Here is the exact procedure. Make sure you wipe the jar down with alcohol before you start painting.
1. Paint jar a base color, let dry for 30 minutes
2. Spray with a spray matte sealer, let dry for 1 hour
3. Paint jar the color you want to show through the cracks. Let dry for 30 minutes
4. Paint jar with crackle medium, let dry 1 hour
5. Paint jar with the contrasting color, it will start cracking as you're putting on the paint, let dry for 30 minutes.
6. Spray jar with either spray matte or glossy sealer as your final coat. Use whichever finish you like. Let dry for 1 hour.
That's it, Super easy! Let me know if you have any other questions. I'll leave you links for both spray sealers that I use.
